Goodwill Donation Center – University Hills

Donation center that is not accepting donations. Attempted to call in advance of coming over to confirm hours and phone number listed goes to corporate office which isn’t open on weekends. ;(

Everyone needs help sometimes. This is not a thrift store where you can shop for steals on gently used clothing, sporting equipment, or luggage. It’s *just* a drop-​off area — I’m not even sure where the clothing goes after you drop it off here — be it to the main Goodwill on S. Broadway or spread throughout the metro area.
Anyways, I finally (4 months after moving in) went through all my non-​coat clothing and donated 9 t-​shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, 9 polo shirts, 1 sweatshirt and 2 button down shirts. And it made me feel slightly good about myself… so that’s why the 4 stars. Just because donators are doing something *good*.
I *don’t know why* I’m not seeing an «hours open» area to fill out for this business; did that somehow vanish off the Unilocal data sheet for people to fill out reporting new businesses? Anyways, the hours are:
Monday-​Saturday, 8:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, 10:00 a.m. — 6:00 p. m
It’s right next to Garlic Knot too so you can treat yourself to some yummy Italian food afterwards for doing a good deed. :)
