Green Mountain Liquors & Wines

I always try to greet store employees and acknowledge them when they greet me. When I am blatantly ignored I don’t go back. After selecting my items I approached the counter to pay and said hello. The cashier stuck his hand out to take my money and continued a speaker phone conversation with someone. I thought Id give him another chance to be human by saying thank you and have a nice night. He just stared at me. I now feel like a fool for being so nice. My only outlet is to warn anyone else from going here. Even if the cashier is not the owner it reflects.
It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review Do not go here. I have a bad feeling about this store.

I went here a couple times and the guy that always seemed to be working is a dick. I frequent Foothills Liquors up the street next to Safeway… those guys are great!

My first visit would have been a 4 star experience. I was able to get in and out quickly and without hassle. My second visit was not so good. It was a cold winter day and I was bundled up with a coat, a hoodie, and a sweater. As I was walking in the left set of doors, there was a smarmy guy in the right set of doors (a few large window panes down), who was watching 5 or 6 guys trying to get their truck out from the snow. When he saw me walking in, he made the comment «I like portly women» loud enough for me to hear it. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier who the hell that guy was. He said the guy was an employee. I was flabbergasted and told him about the comment. The cashier was sympathetic, which I appreciated. I’ll think twice about going here, especially with so many other liquor stores in the area.

Great local liquor store. Decent wine and microbrew selection. The owner and workers are very friendly but was once told upon buying my 2^nd case of Fat Tire in a week, «One ok, but 2 in week too much.» I had to laugh because of the chinese accent, but I still got my 2^nd case… LOL.
