Disappointed that this place doesn’t have heated grass tees, fairways, or greens. Not even on the Par 3. Every other amenity that you could think of for a golf course. Snow really is an inconvenience for GVR.

Bought the groupon, showed up a few minutes late, The guy at the front desk told me that Joe would be out there in a few minutes and I could warm-​up hitting a couple balls on the range. A few minutes turned into more than 20 minutes, and Joe never showed up. The guy at the desk tried to call him and left him a message So I left, not sure if I’ll come back after that, Extremely unprofessional. I’ll get my groupon refunded.

I came here to cash in on a Groupon lesson with Lana Ortega. What I got was a long-​term friendship and coach. She has recently moved to Family Sports Center in Centennial, and I have followed her there.
About this location, I would say from most of the golf courses that I have visited in Colorado, this place has one of the best training facilities. They have high tech equipment, with certified instructors that are patient and will work with your swing.
In addition to that, there is a putter fitting area, where they use different types of electronics to measure your putts, your height, your grip. You surely would not get this service from a Golfsmith or PGA golf store!

Stefanie Ferguson is an excellent golf instructor. She is very patient, knowledgeable, and devoted to improving her students abilities. She delivers practical and concise teaching which has allowed me to improve my game substantially. A pleasure to work with and highly recommended! Thanks Stef!

Spent time over three days with Charlie Soule during visit to Denver area. The facilities and practice area are terrific and Charlie is an outstanding instructor. Patient and very perceptive. Our focus was short game work and I was able to implement the instruction quickly… and he identified the cues I need to stay focused and to stay consistent. I have worked with a number of different instructors over the years and can highly recommend Charlie Soule.

Best practice facility I’ve been to! I’ve had range/​practice memberships to two other courses before I came across the Green Valley Ranch Golf Academy. For the last two season, I’ve stuck with this one and love it! State-​of-​the-​art facilities for Golf Academy members, great practice greens, driving range, and a par-​3 course that you can really practice your short game (putting included) where the greens are as good as the greens on their fantastic golf course. The staff at the Golf Academy at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club is really what separates this place! A bunch of great pros with tons of experience to pass on to their students. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get lessons this year because of the experience I had my first year here. Last year Charlie Soule saw how much I was out practicing and would give me pointers here and there, and he didn’t have to. So this year I decided to do a 6-​lesson pack with him and so far it’s been amazing! The focus that he has on my game is fantasitc and how he can communicate to me in a way for me to understand exactly what I’m doing or not doing to improve my game has been perfect. Last year I logged 50 rounds (about 18 at this course). The lessons from Charlie and the great facilities here have given me exactly what I need to keep improving my game! Once you see all they have to offer here with the facilities, lessons (plenty of swing break-​downs on video), and the best instructors, you’ll never go anywhere else!

My husband and I are new to the area, and came here for a golf lesson with Charlie Soule based on a friend’s recommendation. It was well worth it! My husband is a really good golfer, but I just started, so was a bit nervous, However, Charlie did a great job putting me at ease and teaching me the basics, while helping my husband with the more technical aspects and deconstructing his swing.
The facilities themselves were outstanding, and we were able to practice both indoors and outdoors. We also spent a lot of time breaking down our swings in slow motion through a pretty technical video system they have.
Overall, we both loved the experience, and signed up for more lessons with Charlie. Can’t recommend enough.

The golf academy has everything you need to improve your golf game from an excellent par 3 course to a great short game area.
Charlie Soule is the best instructor I’ve ever had and his vast knowledge of the golf game is unprecedented. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, this is the place to improve your game.

With Ted Britschgi now teaching at CGA, it is truly the top of the golf instruction venues in the State. Ted is known throughout the country with high marks in both Golf and Golf Digest. A great guy who can help anyone with their game. No such thing as a «quick fix» but Ted can get you on the right track right away and then you are off to a better, more enjoyable game.
