What a great little library. Always quiet and clean and easy to find a seat or table to sit down to read or get some work done. Located right across from a school as an excellent resource for all the students.

I’m agreeing with Angela D., this place is awesome. I don’t feel like I’m going to a library at all, then again I only really peruse their movie section. When you check out, it’s all electronic, I don’t have to have superficial conversations with any grumpy librarians. Plus, the computer will alert me with any overdue fees, not feel guilty from the librarians like the older days. This place is newer, but is also located in a more unethical community, so theft is high. Check it out, it has an airport theme.

Seriously? I’m the first to review this library? Well I do have to say this, I always get a kick out of going to this library because it’s a part of Denver Public Library. I think my shock is because — how in the world is this considered Denver? I know, I know… the airport is in Denver too. So anyway, I use this library because I live close to it, and I frequent Central on my lunch break. When I don’t have time at lunch to pick up a book from Central, I’ll request it to be sent to GVR. Although this is a very small branch, they have a pretty decent selection of books on hand. I’ve spent a few Sundays just perusing. Two more great things about this library. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The first time I went there, I couldn’t figure out where the hold shelf was(maybe if I took the time to READ… in a library of all places). The woman helping me didn’t make me feel like a complete fool… I did that by myself. Just FYI… look behind the checkout counter. And… I noticed that this library is very kid friendly. Usually when one says kid friendly, you get the picture of kids running around acting nuts. But the kids I have encountered are quiet, respectful, just great. I see that recently they had a function for the kids… which is always good for the community. I definitely would recommend this library to anyone.
