Nice little liquor store. Some of their prices are a bit high on the beer, as others have noted, but nothing insane or outrageous. Good wine selection, from expensive to cheap and everywhere in between. Staff is nice, polite, and keep a clean store. I like the small closeout rack by the very front; found good deals there before.

So… I love wine. Go around to different liquor stores trying to find different and unusual. It isn’t only the wine I am looking for, but I am also looking for someone who can tell me that they’ve tried the wines they actually stock. Unfortunately, the clerk didn’t even greet me, say hello or acknowledge that I was in the store. I asked him about a certain wine and he acted as though he couldn’t be bothered. A liquor store in this area with such terrible customer service and unfriendly staff will not make it.

Funny… they’re cheap on 6 packs, but on 12’s, they’re expensive. But when you talk about convenience, perfect. You wouldn’t go here to stock up on booze, but if you want something small, this is the place to go.

Staff is very helpful. Under new ownership and the owner is quite entertaining. They have good deals on wine and have tastings every friday and saturday

This has been under new ownership for a few years now, and I couldn’t be happier. There used to be a surly guy who never smiled and acted as if every time I came in he had never seen me before. This is not the cheapest place to get liquor, but it isn’t the most expensive either. More importantly it is the closest to my house. They have been known to do occasional wine tasting in the past but I haven’t seen that lately. The owner, Tom, is one of the most happy, easy going business owners I know. Always in a super great mood, he will drop what he is doing(if he can) to help me pick out a bottle of wine– and taking the time to ask what I am serving with it and seems truly interested. They are centrally located in the Happy Canyon strip mall, and when you enter, their wine set up is towards the front of the store, usually displaying what wines they have on sale. If you ask any of the employees, they can give you an accurate review on most all of the wines. I have bought a few wine of the month clubs there as gifts, people just love them! They have run out of the popular mixers at times, such as cranberry juice, but if I just took my lazy butt to the grocery store, it would be cheaper there anyway. I can’t dock them a star for that– they are just that good.
