Heads of State

This place is amazing. Bought my Dad a dab rig to use out of state and he called today and it had broken :(Was a rare type and piece and Nikki at this location went out of her way to help me find one over the phone bc I was sick! She had me send a photo and even offered to contact the company if they didn’t have one– fortunately they did and my dad will have a new one in the mail tomorrow! Awesome.

I have been shopping at Heads of State since I moved into the neighborhood over 11 years ago, in fact even a few times before that over the years, when passing by.
I’ve never had any negative experiences there, and when I’ve gone in with a mission, they have nearly always had what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay.
That said, their prices seem somewhat high to me, but this is partly compensated by their fairly large and varied stock.
I do feel that their selection of vaporizers could be improved, especially if the owner /​manager would choose not to sell cheep Chinese knock-​offs of other company’s designs. They do also carry some premium vaporizer brands, but at full MSRP or even higher. They also carry a lot of cheap junk, probably because there is far more margin on them than on the premium name-​brand units they carry.
I decided to write this review today because I was searching Unilocal and the web for smoking shops in Denver today, looking for a place to buy a premium water pipe.
I was wondering whether there was another shop anywhere that would be worth driving across town for. So far, I haven’t found one, but I haven’t given up the search yet either. If I can’t find better in a few minutes, I’ll be heading back to Heads of State again. Since I haven’t been in to the store in some time, I’ll write a followup or edit this piece if today’s trip suggests it’s necessary.

I popped into Heads of State on ⁰⁴⁄₂₀ looking for some smoking accessories. I had never been in before. When I walked in, being a holiday, they were busy but the girls working went out of their way to say hi. The staff was super courteous, and being as I was new to the world of vaporizers, Lizzie took the time to explain them all to me and was thoroughly answered all my questions. I got an amazing deal on some great glass, and had fun doing it. Love all the ladies who work there. Customer service gets an A+. I will definitely be coming back here next time I need smoking accessories.

I live in So Cal but with 420 a few days away I was in need of some glass. After first calling and speaking to a very friendly man I drove over. When I walked in I was presented with a beautiful store. Anything you can imagine. A woman immediately came to help me and picked a great piece for me and even gave me all sorts of info about CO’s laws on smoking since I am not a native. I am never, in any state been more pleased with my service. The shop is easy to find and has convenient parking as well. Do not even consider another shop. I am beyond pleased and can’t wait to go back. Thank you a million times to both those wonderful employees!

Gotta love your neighborhood bong shop. They have a fair selection, if you’re into that sorta thing.

Heads of State is a Denver original and has been around for as long as I can remember. They have just about everything you could want or need to find in a smoke shop.
The assortment of glass products is nice and well rounded. They carry a lot of the popular brands and others you may have not heard of. They also have a large assortment of other items from incense to t-​shirts, bags, and nic-​nacs.
The staff is usually friendly, but on a couple occasions it seemed as if someone was having a bad day, but perhaps it was just me. They have this rule on the front door that says «No cell phones allowed» which just doesn’t make any sense to me. I’ve even witnessed an employee yell at a customer for answering their phone in the store. It’s their store so they make the rules, but it’s just weird.
Heads of State is a good option if you’re in the need of a decent smoke shop.

This smoke shop has been around for years in denver. They have all sorts of smoking utinsils and accesories. They also have rock posters and other rock n roll stuff. They have a few hemp items. I noticed last time i was in they started carrying SRH t– shirts. Theres so much almost too much stuff to describe. As far as smoke shops go its decent. As long as they keep selling SRH i’ll keep shoping there.
