BEWARE: The office LIES about insurance coverage. We were very excited to see Dr Singer. I called and as I ALWAYS do, I asked if they were participating with my insurance. They said yes they did. I was VERY clear as I have dealt with insurance companies and Drs for many years and as a result am VERYOCD about making sure my providers accept my coverage. If they don’t I search elsewhere, 100% of the time. The Dr was an hour late seeing us. I thought he was an excellent Dr but surprisingly, at the time of departure, the office woman, Lori, literally ARGUED and insisted,” I ALWAYS tell patients the VERY first time I speak with them we do NOT take ANY insurance.“ The cost of the appt was 350.00. I made it clear we were canceling all future appts. She said some garbage about health care credits and how the following appts were«Only 130.00» As I told her, I will NOT pay out of pocket for any medical care like that as I do NOT have that kind of money. Unless you want to pay 350.00 for a first appt, wait an hour and then pay 130+ for additional appts don’t go here. Sadly, anyone who knows me knows Im very clear with DR offices. The fact she didn’t even lower the price when it was VERY clear I was extremely upset, and instead kept arguing with me indicates the lack of willingness to work with a patient there was clearly a SERIOUS miscommunication with. Good luck.
