Ho Mei 3

So I ordered orange chicken and chicken potatoes needless to say I’m very disappointed neither had any chicken in there. Orange «chicken» is not any kind of meat at all, not even sure what it was. Waste of money.

A really run down chinses place with a few homeless people walking around. The food there is ok. My favorite would probably be their fried wontons. But we continue to go because its cheap.

So we ate here despite the reviews and yes the place is very dirty looking n 1or 2 flys but that can happen any were n the lady was extremely rude n rushed us. Cuz of the reviews I was trying to decide what I wanted to get sick on lol. But besides the places looks n the rude lady N WATCH THE POP YOU GET WITH YOUR MEAL. IT SMELLED OF FISH/​SHRIMP ON THE TOP WERE YOUR MOUTH GOES. that can make you sick! But the food was actually good! The rangoons aren’t actually crab rangoons cuz they are supposed to contain crab n these didn’t but it was still really good cream cheese. good egg rolls awesome sweet n sour sauce n the rice tasted like the idk seasoned. Odd but good. The mushroom n zucchini was good, orange n sesame chicken everything I got n my hubby got tasted seasoned well. Price was good. $ 4.50 you get choice of rice or lo-​Maine, choice of 2 sides n choice of 2 rangoons or 2egg roll n free pop. And we got 6 crab rangoons for $ 1.25 and 2 egg rolls for 1.25 good deal will prob eat here again till we get sick or something lol but DEF WATCH THE POP.

No stars if I could. Every time I have ever come here to eat, the place is trashed and there are flies everywhere. I have found hair in my food multiple times. The costumer service is garbage. Let’s just say it’s not worth your money or your health (:

I have not eaten here and I will not. This restaurant just received an award as the third worst restaurant IN THE COUNTRY by Yahoo! This is enough for me to avoid this place like the plague, which you may get by eating there according to what I have read.

If I could give no stars I would. This place is disgusting. The «chicken» is little fried balls of who knows what kind of meat. The fried portion of the meat (if that’s what it is) tastes sweet like someone sprinkled sugar on it – Nasty! Anyone who gave this place a good review is crazy, seriously. and if you don’t believe me, go eat there yourself. I am absolutely shocked that I didn’t get some kind of food poisoning from this place. I’m even more surprised that this place is still open. I wouldn’t recommend anyone eat here EVER IN YOUR LIFE! It’s not worth it. there are so many nasty things I would rather eat than the food from this place. Bleh

You get what you pay for. Sometimes, you get less than that. Mushy, greasy fried rice, dried up pork, and I’m still not sure what foreign object my friend found in her mushroom chicken because she doesn’t want to talk about it. Let’s not even discuss the interior space which is literally falling apart. Why eat here when the much better Thousand (s) of Wok (s) is across the street? The lunch special costs a dollar more there, but it’s a dollar that goes far.

Nothing to Complain about here. The Drive thru isnt open you must go inside. I order the Happy Family or Broccoli Beef, or Orange Chicken. They give you a free sample of something each time you go in. They really pack the food into the togo box if you get it to go. The sodas are in cans but i always get extras. The employees are super friendly. Not much atmosphere but the prices are cheap and the food is better than good. I can taste it right now. You will be going Ho Mei because the food is delicious and cheap.

Sometimes the cliché «you get what you pay for» is appropriate, and this is one of those times. I am not sure why this establishment has fans considering the quality of the food served from the heated pans on the counter is a notch below Panda Express … as if that were even possible! True, the owners are friendly enough, but smile or no smile, I felt like a fool for agreeing to eat this slop. Sorry Ho Mei … no way.

I came here on a recent trip to Colorado, I wasnt expecting to find good Chinese food in Colorado seeing how i am from Los Angeles but i was pleasantly surprised. I decided to go for the Ho Mei chicken. The chicken was great, I actually ordered another portion because i wanted to take some home for a snack later. I wish I had taken a few pictures so i could post them but unfortunately i forgot = (You people in Denver are lucky for having this place, and that is a bold statement coming from an LA native.
