I had my hair done by Quyen a couple days ago. I was a little nervous going in, all I know was that I wanted some kind of shade of ash blonde balayage. Quyen went through the process with me and gave suggestions which made me more at ease, not to mention she’s real cool and nice. I took her suggestions, as a result my hair turned dark ash blonde balayage/​ombré. My hair color before was a brassy dark to medium brown shade. I’ve always thought that my hair would never turn into an ash blonde color ever considering that my natural color is black but it did! I really love the color and the balayage/​ombré effect; I think she read my mind because I wanted something that was ash blonde, subtle, and pretty but just didn’t know how to express it. Quyen knows what she’s doing and from observation, the other stylists are also amazing at what they do. I’m glad I found a salon that knows how to deal with my hair type. Thank goodness for HQ salon and Quyen. I definitely recommend HQ salon, check them out!

I love my hair. I’m a Hairstylist too and I am really picky about who does my hair. I travel from California to Denver just to get my hair done by Quyen. She is the best at what she does.

The women that work here, truly are a master of their craft. I have now been here twice, and have always left here more than satisfied. They have always exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is fun, the stylists are personable, and they genuinely care. The pictures on their FB and IG account speaks volumes for itself. I can assure you, Quyen’s salon, is the real deal. I 110% recommend this salon.

First time here today and I’m already so obsessed! I’m always so scared to try new places when it comes to my hair but this salon is forsure the best in denver! Quyen is an amazing artist and the sweetest person! My hair was extemely damaged and was fading into an ugly orange color, and she was able to pull out a beautiful dark brown to blonde ombré! I will definitely be coming back here everytime I need my hair done! Thanks Quyen!

not only did she not do as I asked her to but she attempted an ombré on me and turned my hair purple, then had the nerve to charge me $ 300 wtf?!

After moving here from L. A, I did a whole lot of homework before finding somewhere to get my ombré’ done. I came across HQ’s InstaGram. I saw that they were preetty pricey but was amazed by their pictures so I decided to give it a try. Melissa was very friendly and did an amazing job. I didn’t come out as blonde as I wanted but beautifully blended. Oh, and I was very pleased with my haircut. Will come back for sesh #2!!!

Great experience! The salon is small and personal. There’s no parking so I parked in the neighborhood right behind the salon. My hair was super long and I really wanted a color update and a haircut. I was scheduled with Melissa who did a great job! Photo is posted. I decided to do balayage on my dark hair and it turned out very well blended! The appointment ran pretty late, but I have had a salon turn me away when they thought my hair was going to take too long and they wouldn’t be able to close on time, so I came to the appointment for nothing. HQ stayed open until she was done with my hair, and I didn’t feel like Melissa was rushing through it to get out of there. The price was $ 140 for balayage plus a haircut. Very comparable prices to other salons.

YES! Flew in from San Francisco and it took me forever to find a professional salon where they actually know what there doing and it’s a very fun atmosphere in here. I had gone from teal to platinum silver and it looks amazing !!! Thank u guys!

So unprofessional. Had an emergency and had to leave immediately. Told them I would come back to do my hair& pay 20 $ for the paint they had already mixed. Owner was super upset and texted me nasty messages late at night.

Quyen transformed my hair from box dye black to midnight blue! I LOVE IT. When she lightened it, my hair surprisingly came out bright and SOFT. If anything it was softer than it initially was. It even came out a pretty brownish — orange so once the blue fades I’ll still have a pretty color to work with underneath. The blue hasn’t even faded all the way yet. I dyed it blue to go to Vegas and washed my hair everyday for 4 days … it’s still blue slowly turning into a pretty blue-​green.
The total process took 4 hours. She made me a mimosa and we watched Netflix :)

Thanks to Quyen I love my hair again!:) After having many bad experiences at hair salons all around Denver, I finally found some amazing talent. Quyen is not only incredibly talented but she is also the sweetest down to earth person. I’m so happy I found Hq salon I would totally recommend it to friends and family, give it a try you might fall in love with your hair all over again!;)

I love Quyen. She is awesome. She has a great personality and will give you her full attention. I will be back to get more work done for sure. Prices are higher then other places I have been to BUT it was worth for the time and relationship that was made for me to return.

I walked in not knowing any questions to ask about getting my hair colored. I learned about the process of bleaching and highlights and low lights. Feeling embarrassed being a male walking into a salon, Arely showed me some comfort in her knowledge in what I wanted done. I went in and it was so easy she made me feel welcomed. The other lady that worked there was very nice too. Her name was Quyen, as I was letting my hair develop, I was watching her do work on other clients and it was such a great job! I highly recommend you coming to a wonderful salon!

I found her on Facebook decide to try her out!!! I got highlights and a haircut from Quyen and I loved the final results! Did my hair exactly the way I wanted. Very affordable prices! I’m glad I made an appointment and tried someone new! First time meeting Quyen and I felt like I knew her for years… she’s very nice and fun. Great personality and makes you feel very comfortable. I finally found someone that can deal with my thick, curly mop! Quyen is amazing. Very personable, and knows hair. My cut is exactly what I wanted and the color looks amazing. Not to mention she plays great music in the salon :) I found my new go-to…can’t wait to recommend her to my friends!

Ok officially hooked on this place!!! On my first time here I got a haircut by Quyen and I loved it. She made it look long still with volume keeping in mind I still need the end to come off. And besides beautiful she’s so friendly! About 2 weeks later I came back to get an Ombré, I really wanted something different then my half virgin brown hair. Something that I can grow out easily so I can get to the length I want. Arely rock it! Helped me decide what color to go with and the length of it. It felt like I knew her for years while I was talking to her! The outcome was amazing! I’ll post a picture! Super friendly girls I’m telling you. They work by appointment only so they can take all their time on you. With the results you’ll get, you will see why that’s very smart to do. Finally, after searching for over 3 years I found a salon I see myself coming to for whatever I need done to my hair :)

I LOVE THIS SALON! Best place to do up do’s, color, highlights, and cut. Quyen is the only person I can fully trust to do my hair the way I like it done. It never comes out bad.
