IMT Alameda Station

I’m the Chef at True Taste Personal Chef Service. I recently cooked for an event for the residents and it was amazing. The staff is excellent, especially Kelly! Great atmosphere and great people! Hope to come back soon!

My husband, goldendoodle, and I have lived at IMT Alameda about 6 months. We absolutely love living here. Everyone is very friendly, especially to our energetic, large goldendoodle, Cosmo. The dog park in the back of the property is a wonderful feature, as well as the heated pet washing station. When we come home from the Evergreen dog park (only 25 – 30 mins from our apartment), our dog is usually covered in mud. Having the pet washing station is amazing because we can wash him easily and then let him run around and dry off in the dog run area next to the washing station. We also love having a parking garage. It is a wonderful safety feature. I am in a secured area from the moment I get out of my car until I’m safely in the apartment. The neighborhood feels very safe as well, but having this added security does make me feel safer every day. The security company and staff at IMT alameda are always very helpful! One day I thought I left the oven on. I called the company and they kindly came into my apartment while I was away and checked it for me. This helps me have a great deal more piece of mind. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming, even when my dog is howling or being disruptive. The main custodian is so kind. One time, my dog knocked hot chocolate out of my hand and onto the floor and he didn’t even hesitate to offer to clean it up for me. When I insisted I can clean it up, he said absolutely not, don’t worry about it at all. This is indicative of how the entire staff treats there residents. The apartment complex offers many events and amenities. We only really use the gym, which is nice. However, we think that the people at the events are very nice and professional. If we had first moved to the area and were looking to meet people, it’d be a nice feature. We were out of town during the initial start of our lease, but that all went seamlessly. They even waived our need for a security deposit because we work for Denver Public Schools.
The location is ideal for traveling to work as the lightrail is a block away. It’s also only two blocks to a bus stop that goes right to Cherry Creek and over by North Wash Park. It’s walking distance from some great bars like Historians, Maple Room, Adrift, and The Irish Rover (great happy hour there!). It’s also right off of I-​25 which has been amazing for my commute to Boulder twice a week. Our neighbors are quite and respectful. However, that can be luck of the draw. Our electric bill is crazy low, which was a fear of mine. We are on the third floor, but there is someone above and below us. We set our thermostat lower and it almost never has to kick on to heat our apartment. Our apartment is also very bright, which is our favorite feature. We have floor to ceiling, huge windows in the bedroom and living room. Our balcony is one of the largest in the community at 10ft by 30ft. There is a privacy fence between each apartment complex, so we have more privacy than typical balconies, although the person above us does have a small balcony. We were worried about having someone living above us, but two different people have moved in and out and we never hear them.
Our apartment is very beautiful. We have beautiful new appliances. Our bathroom has a little medicine cabinet build into the wall, a garden tub that you can actually use, and a nice linen closet. Our walk in closet already had a bookcase type shelf in it, which was so convenient. We have beautiful floors and a huge island. The island has a sink in it. There is more than enough cabinet storage to meet all our needs. The bathroom has a little desk area that has served well for my husband as a little artist’s nook. The laundry is in a closet in the hallway which provides additional storage. Our apartment also has this amazing feature of built in bluetooth speakers in the walls!
Overall, this is the best renting experience I’ve had. Although we will be moving on to a new place because we miss being closer to the mountains. For our time living in Denver, we feel like this was an ideal place to live!

I just moved in and it’s been a very smooth process. Casey is very helpful and quick to respond to all the questions I had prior to moving in and continue to have as I get settled. The neighborhood is awesome, it feels very safe here, and the property is kept clean.

I’ve lived here for a year and the staff and groundskeepers are amazing. Extremely nice and willing to help you with whatever you may need. Very friendly and always saying hello! I recommend working with James as your leasing agent. He’s always up front and honest about questions and is fun to work with. the only downfall here is that the neighborhood may not be the best. I do not feel comfortable walking my dog outside of the apartment complex once it gets dark. Other than that, I would recommend it.

This is such a wonderful community with great resident events. I hosted a sip and paint party for them and the residents were wonderful! The staff is on point and truly care about their residents. If you are new to Denver settle in here and tell them Leah from Bamboo Realty sent you because I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this amazing Denver option!

Excellent place to live with incredibly helpful office personnel. They are very responsive, always reliable and very friendly. Not to mention its perfect location and great amenities.

Couldn’t have found a better place! Staff is incredible and always fun to just go in and talk with. Amenities are awesome, not to mention the great view from the rooftop lounge. Kelly puts together events that we all enjoy, my favorite was the wine and whisky tasting! She brought in a sommelier that did an awesome job teaching us about what we were drinking, truly an evening and a sunset to remember! Love this place!!!

I moved into IMT Alameda Station early September and couldn’t be happier with my decision. The property is well maintained, very clean and the staff is amazing! The residents are extremely friendly and you can almost always find someone playing pool or watching tv/​sports in the clubhouse.
Prior to moving in here, I was looking at a brand new property just down the street but after taking a tour and talking with Casey in the office, I knew this was where I needed to be and never looked back. The amenities are top notch, the staff (Kelly, James, Garrett & Lesley) are some of the best I’ve ever dealt with and the location is perfect.
I definitely give this place 5 stars and would give more if I could!

At least 4 to 5 days a week, I am awaken by people in the pool swimming and drinking alcohol. As I write this, it is 4:57 am and people have been talking, laughing and diving/​jumping in the pool all night. 3 months here has been hell for me. I step out every time and ask them to politely to go home, to only be ignored and patrol shows up after half an hour to an hour. I have brought this up to their attention and I have not seen a solution. Their response is that enforcing it and locking the gates will be too aggressive. I just feel like I m being cheated for my money because I cannot sleep in my own home. The apartment will constantly harass you if your trash outside is not prepared a certain way for their track pick up service and they will post a warning on your door. Your car better be up to date on the tags and you better not make a mistake of double parking or anything else because they will tow it from the garage, and dog waste is tested if found by accident outside the premises and you will be penalized up to $ 300. The garage is always fool and you’ll find yourself circling around up to 5 floor to park all the way up there with no roof because the covered roof parking is always full. About 20 of them in each floor are marked assigned parking and they are set aside to be leased for $ 75 a month and I drive by dozens of Empty parking spots while I’m circling around to park way on top with no roof. This will mean that I will have to go walk up 5 stairs to the top roof and scrape off snow while there are at least 50 covered parking spots open in case someone is willing to pay for them. May IMT should consider getting rid of them all together because they have a parking shortage and we are already paying $ 1600 plus for a one bedroom and your covered garage is their selling point. The hallways are not the cleanest and spent have a pleasant smell because it’s carpet and I have not witnessed anyone washing it since I have moved in. There are constant dogs and people on it and I am not sure why it’s not washed on a weekly bases. I love dogs but I am not sure about this many dogs in my building and I’m always getting barked at and awaken at night by dogs barking. I swear I feel like there are more dogs in this building than people. Getting in and out of an elevator, I am always greeted by several dogs of course with their owners but not all dogs are nice or well trained so some will jump on you and others will bark. Forget inviting your family and friends here unless they take a cab here because there are no parkings in the apartment or all around the area outside the apartment. I really believe this place is a disaster for your money. If I had known I would have never moved here. I am counting down my days as I am typing this 5:30 am in the morning because I have been awaken by screaming girls and guys drinking and jumping in the pool.

Top to bottom the best experience with an apartment community. Starting with the location, then the great customer service. My apartment had everything I wanted including the mountain views that I moved to Colorado for. I recently moved due to work, but miss my apartment after only a couple of weeks and thinking of making a longer commute and moving back when my new lease is over.

Garrett Kelly and the whole team at IMT Alameda are incredible! Honestly so welcoming and such incredible people!
IMT is so amazing! There is no where in Denver you can get all these amenities and as well the amazing staff and apartments!

Helpful staff and amenities, great area to live in!

Baker offers a nice mixture of old and new. IMT Alameda is definitely on the «new» end of the apartments in the area. It has a terrific location within walking distance of the South Baker bar and restaurant scene that lets you be a part of one of Denver’s great «old» neighborhoods. Back to new — you can walk to the light rail in just a couple of minutes and get anywhere in the downtown or DTC area quickly. The amenities are practical and add built in value. They of course have a pool and fitness center –but they also have a spot to fix your bikes, skis, and snowboards. The parking garage with a spot per bedroom for tenants is a great cost saver for the typical vehicle owner. Everyone I’ve met working here is helpful and professional and if you are looking in the area I’d recommend checking it out!

This is the most amazing, beautiful place. Moving out of state can be very stressful, and James at IMT made it so easy on us! He’s the most friendly guy who helped us every step of the way. We expected to have difficulties because we were out of state, and that wasn’t the case at all. We got into town, signed our lease and moved right in. I definitely want to live here for years! They have a trash service that pics up your garbage right in front of your door during certain hours. The location is also absolutely unbeatable. Located just 3.5 miles south of downtown Denver. The light rail station is only 2 blocks away and it’s in a safe area.
I would ¹⁰⁄₁₀ recommend IMT!!!

We stopped in for a tour and Kelly showed us around. She was friendly and personable. Her knowledge and professionalism were the deciding factor for us. We know with staff like her we will be in good hands. We put in an application and hope to be moving to Alameda Station very soon!

I used to be fairly happy living here and paying the more pricey than average rent
for amenities. Today this changed.
IMT hires a towing company to tow cars out of the garage if they aren’t residents/​lacking a permit. Totally reasonable. What they don’t tell you is that they allow the towing company to troll through the garage looking for expired tags to tow. I received a notice (bright orange sticker) on my car stating I had 72 hours to get my tags updated or they will tow me. (I had no idea my tags were expired…) From my own residence? Since when was it my land lord’s job to play big brother?
(For the record, I am a quiet and respectful tenant who pays my rent on time and picks up my dog’s shit.)
So I went to the office. They blamed the tow company. I called the tow company (Wyatt’s) and they told me it was the apartment company’s decision to tow residents WHO PAY TO PARK THERE. I told them my tags were in the mail, and they told me I basically need to «hide my car» until the tags arrived. IMT must be receiving a nice little kickback from the expired tag tows. IMT has signed a contract to allow Wyatt’s to do this. Let me rephrase that: IMT is totally okay towing their residents who have expired tags.
So much for making your residents happy. Here’s the kicker– in the past month, 2 tenants have been robbed– like actual intruders inside their apartment (one when both roommates were home and caught the intruder in the act). Additionally, another tenant had a screaming, wall-​beating, alcoholic neighbor that was reported several times (mostly for this person and those affected’s safety) and the company lied about them being evicted to the neighbors.
Hopefully they use some of their kickback money to replace the «locked gates» that don’t work and are easily scalable for anyone to take a walk through the buildings. Come take a look for yourself; it’s wide open!
They will smooze your ass of in the office and coax you into a signing a lease… Just read the reviews and consider your options. Or park with your tagged license plate butted up against the wall so the tow truck can’t find your car.
Ridiculous.

Alameda Station has reached a new low. Our apartment has been flooding for two days and after doing some exploratory work to try to figure out where the root problem lies, we have holes in our walls, insulation has been pulled out, our dishwasher doesn’t work, we aren’t allowed to use any water in our kitchen, and we’ve been told our hot water will be gone for at least the next 24 hours.
When we raised the point that all of this makes our apartment unsanitary and unlivable, they told us there is nothing they can do but wait until tomorrow. We asked if they could help us with a hotel stay for the night (we have a dog and don’t want him licking dirty water or eating insulation) until the problem can be resolved. Nope. No help. Instead, they just told us to deal with it and when they figure out the problem (which they haven’t been able to after two full days of digging around), then that’s helping us enough.

I have had a wonderful experience here the past year and am sad to be leaving. The staff, apartments, location, other residents, and amenities are all part of the reason why I love this place. The staff at alameda station really makes all the difference in the world. My relationship with my leasing agent (Lesley) was great from day one and only got better with time. Hoping that I’ll find a similar, personal relationship with the staff at my new apartment home because it really makes a huge difference. Other than that the amenities and apartments are amazing. I feel like I’m on a permanent vacation all the time! Like I said, it’s bittersweet to be leaving but it’s time to go. I would stay if I could but work is making me relocate. advice: If you’re looking for a place to live in the denver area make imt alameda station a top priority.

To say the emails we receive are excessive is an understatement; it appears that any time there is something the apartment complex believes is important we receive two emails, an original and then an updated one because the original one was not clear; however, my email today is not in regards to the amount of emails I receive but to show that there are a lot of emails sent on a regular basis yet the community was not made aware that the entire dog park’s fence had been removed from the East side of the dog park. Thankfully I was paying attention this morning when I went to the dog park, rather than release my dog to do «his business» because there was absolutely nothing holding him in from running into the street, out to another neighborhood, etc… There is no sign (s) posted, no email, no notice on the door, absolutely no communication outside of mention of it several weeks ago without specific details and there was NOTHING that said the fences would be removed but rather that when the dog park would be closed it would be for 2 weeks for re-​sodding.
Once again, a perfect example of inconsistent communication and complete disregard to pet owners which I have already mentioned as concerns previously!
In addition, I was communicating back/​forth via email with Brian on 08÷29÷14 regarding maintenance entering my apartment to repair my thermostat (another issue) and I may only assume someone repaired my thermostat because it has not shut off since that day; however, I did not receive any notification that there was an individual that entered my unit. The only response regarding that I received was from Brian stating «We will give it a shot. Thanks». Every single other apartment complex I have ever lived in has always left a Notice of Entry stating the date, time, and reason they entered my apartment, I received nothing. This is especially frustrating since we were going to be seeing if my dog was ok with maintenance entering my unit but yet again, the circle of communication did not occur leaving me only to my own assumptions that the issue was corrected but I still do not know if it is just coincidence to this day.
Additional concerns I raised were regarding the issues with the doors. There is the one issue of the West Gate that consistently fails to open thus causing several residents to prop the door open with a rock which I consistently kick away because I am paying for this «secure» property. The door has yet to be fixed forcing me to walk around to the other side of the property in order to enter in to my apartment complex.
The other issue is the opposite, the two entrances on the North side of the property which consistently fail to secure shut.
If we, as residents, are paying to live in a secure building, and the issue with these doors has been known for well over a month yet nothing has been done to resolve the issue, how can I not be frustrated? At this point, I am about to call a company to look it over and have them bill your company because it’s ridiculous that DOORS take over a month (if not longer) to fix!
So as I stated in the beginning of this email, I once again express my complete disdain for this so called «management company».
