The only reason I go to this coffee shop is because it’s in my building and they serve the chai brand I love. The ladies that work in the morning are so unfriendly and ridiculously slow and what they do. I could be the only customer in the store and it will take four minutes to make my drink. Sometimes I have to stand and wait for them to finish up their personal conversation before they even acknowledge that I am standing there. Annoyed.

I’ve recently relocated to Tabor Center and was so excited to have a coffee shop inside the building. I’m a Starbucks girl, generally, but looked forward to ink and staying inside. What a disappointment. Service is ALWAYS bad. No one else in the store and it will take the cashier 5 – 10 seconds to even look up to say hello. This has happened each of the three times I’ve visited. A warm welcome can almost always make up for other deficiencies. In my mind it is basic customer service to immediately acknowledge your patrons. In addition, food is extremely overpriced. Last week I tried the turkey salad. It was lunch meat and tasted bad. Today it’s chicken salad. The flavor is actually good but $ 11.25 for ½ cup plus some cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes is ridiculously over-priced. Finally, the store is messy and cutlery and lids don’t seem to be stocked regularly. This will be my last visit. Its back outside and Starbucks for me.

Whoever made the decision to split up all the ink! spots on here is doing them a disservice. So here is the rundown: On most mornings, I have more coffee than blood coursing through my veins. I love coffee. My friend and I even debated yesterday if we had to give up booze or coffee, which we would pick. I didn’t pick coffee, but still, I’d TOTALLY miss it. Anyway, my entire office goes to ink! — this one in particular — all the time. The staff is friendly, the lines move quickly, but the coffee, my god, the coffee. Why does Starbucks even exist? If Starbucks had a diary, it’s be writing about how much it hates ink! but kinda has a crush on it, too. Because the coffee is insanely good. Sometimes, I’ll get the iced coffee, which is basically probably old, refrigerated coffee, and it tastes better than any cup I’ve ever had anywhere else. I’d give this place 6 stars if I could.

I stopped in at Ink today and was met by delightful smiling staff. Alissa and Jimmy promptly took and served my order. They asked my name and remembered it as I was leaving. I find it rare to walk into any establishment and be greeted by genuinely happy people. 5 stars just for the service.

I normally like ink! Coffee because of their amazing Hot Black & White. Today was not good… The drink was«okay» but the staff was rude and out of touch. The drinks are more expensive here than the location I normally visit. Unless this location doesn’t know what to charge people. Anyway, I watched two people walk out without their drinks because they said, «They didn’t have this much f*cking time to waste on an overpriced drink.» Wow… I waited for mine only to be disappointed. I asked the barista why I didn’t get whipped cream and she said they were out. Why didn’t someone tell me this when I ordered? What a piss-poor experience. You know, one location can really make other ones look bad. Also, nothing is priced in their pastry case and the guy working the register didn’t know anything, either. He told me he’d have to ring me up for some of it before he could tell me. Really? What a trap.
