Jay Kacik – Standing Room Only

Jay DJ’d for our May 2014 wedding at a private home outside of Boulder. We loved him. He’s extremely professional and kept the whole night rolling smoothly, from ceremony to cocktails to dinner, speeches, horah and chair dance, to keeping the dance floor full the whole night long. He made sure he was prepared by knowing the names of key family members, all the parts of the evening, etc. He even spent an hour up at the site (an hour away from where he lives), just to make sure it would all go well. And he smartly was able to shorten our father/​daughter dance song so that everyone wouldn’t get too bored. Before we even met him, we heard from two other vendors that Jay was one of the best out there. Jay is a solid choice — HIGHLY recommend.

Jay was the DJ for my wedding at Della Terra in Estes Park on July 13, and he was amazing! It ended up pouring rain, so they had to set up for an indoor ceremony at the last minute which cut our time line down by about 45 minutes. He was calm and collected, and made me feel calm. He suggested things that we could cut (i.e. Anniversary Dance) in order to save time, and he approached me about the time line of the reception in a way that put me at ease, and I had full confidence that everything would run smoothly. Everything about the reception exceeded my expectations… he takes care of everything and thinks ahead so you don’t have to. Leading up the wedding, he was always available either via email or skype, and his professionalism is wonderful. He was a bit more expensive than other DJs I researched, but, as they say, you get what you pay for! I would highly recommend him for any function. I had several people come up to me to comment on what an outstanding job he did. Even my dad was impressed, and he’s a very hard man to please. Thanks, Jay!
