Great place! Lounge vibe, comfy leather seats. The service was friendly and their Happy Hour had some good deals including $ 4 apple martinis, well drinks etc. They had karaōke when I went, and it is always enjoyable to watch people trying to impress other people. There was a dude in a business suit belting out songs with his beer in his hand. I’d go back.

Visiting Denver, I felt a bit out of place: I’m not a millennial nor a homeless type. So when I stumbled upon Jack*s, I left with a very good experience. Great Blues music, pleasant employees and reasonable prices. When, and if I return to Denver, this will become my night time entertainment.

The band soul school was excellent, and the waitress was wonderful! The club was packed and she went above and beyond to find us seats and make sure we were having a great time. We will definitely make this place a regular happening.

Great spot while visiting Denver. Love love loved the band we heard. We all got up and danced. The horn player even came on the floor while blowing and wiggled a little gig himself. The drink were poured average. So we ordered extra shots. The cocktail waitress was on her job and attentive. We went back the next day and another band played. Good. But not the night we went. When in Denver again from Vegas, I will no doubt go there again.

Great music. Friendly staff… Wasn’t a fan of being told I had to buy a minimum of two drinks when I walked through the door(I find that a little tacky but… ok) I’ll visit again.

I love how colorful everybody is, and I do mean EVERYBODY! The customers, the bar tenders, waiters, and the band are all such lovely personalities. This place glows with energy and excitement and it’s absolutely infectious. I came here on a date, dreading this place thinking it was going to be boring. Fear not, this place isn’t over hyped and will have you either finding many conversation topics or on the dance floor.

FANTASTIC music, no doubt about it. Cocktails are a bit iffy, with chilled shots coming out only somewhat cool(I watched the second time, not enough enthusiasm or endurance with the drink shaker), martinis of all types over-boozed and a bit off on flavor. Service was friendly and prompt, and I’d come back for the music, but I’d like to see a boost in drink quality.

Came here for jazz night and got blown away. Drinks were delicious and great prices. Plus the food to pick up was delicious. I had a wonderful time and will be back in the future

Live local music is under-appreciated, and this place is a must-go for hearing what Denver has to offer. Sometimes its jazz, sometimes R&B, sometimes funk. The parking here can be annoying but I can deal with it. There is a parking lot beneath the Pavilions and its $ 7 i think. Surprisingly, the hot wings are dang good. My friend thought her drink(a Grey Goose martini) was a tad expensive but you’re watching a live show with no cover. I do think theres a cover weekends but nothing crazy. I have seen the the dance floor literally become THESOULTRAIN. Freakin awesome.

Enjoy Live music with some of Denver’s Best Talent! Wonderful venue to drink eat and dance, while enjoying a group of friends or date night. Don’t be shy! Go and have fun!!! It’s always more fun when the crowd is up dancing and having fun!

Came here many times for shows by came particularly for karaōke night on Tuesday night for the first night of karaōke. There was a two drink minimum. The KJ was great and kept the crowd hype. The food is bar food but it’s good. Karen the server is friendly and quick. I’ll be back.

I have now been to Jazz At Jacks twice on business trips and had a blast each time. It is one of my go to spots for live music in Downtown Denver. Mainly Jazz and Blues acts at this venue, but I have seen R&B as well. Drinks are fairly priced. Get there early on the weekends as it is a big date spot. Lots of lovers in the crowd dressed to impress. Vibe is always chill and about enjoying some beats. As for my crew, we knocked back a few Old Fashioned and escaped with the music. Great little place to escape the downtown tourist trap in Denver.

I love the music at Jazz at Jacks. This is what draws us to this place. I have not found any other place like this. My boyfriend and I brought my parents here as we like FUNK music and Hot Lunch Band was playing the Friday Night that we went. The only thing I will say is that it was very, very cold in there because as you know people that are dancing get hot so they, I understand but we must have been very close to the air vent. Overall service was good. I think there drinks are just alil highly priced as you do pay to get in as well. $ 10 to get in usually. I think they would do good if they offered an appetizer special each night as I think the customer watching would enjoy that. Overall at I will be back to Jazz at Jacks as I continue to love it.

Stopped in Jazz @ Jack’s for a quick drink before a movie. This was one of the best places in the area to do so in my opinion. It is on the top floor of the 16th Street Pavilian right by the entrance to the movie theater. It was such a better choice than the chain bars like Lucky Strike and Coyote Ugly, less expensive as well! I can say I am quite impressed with the setup. There is a bar/hangout area right when you walk in the door, then a seperate area with a stage for the jazz show. We did not get to stick around for long, but the show that was on while we were there was quite entertaining. I look forward to returning to Jack’s so I can provide a more thorough review.

Ambience — quite nice Drink prices — reasonable Bands –good to great My only problem was the really loud amplification Dotsero was fab but Lordy they had the music so loud– and I go to frequent rock concerts The small intimate space was cranked with sound up to 102 decibels, less than most red rocks shows Will come back more if you turn it down!

Would’ve been higher if I didn’t feel like I was being stereotyped. I’ve visited before and I enjoyed it, but Karen, Erin or something like that(I over heard her telling someone else, we were never told) made us uncomfortable. She smiled and double checked on everyone else, she even ignored us a few times. I will continue to visit but I would rather not have to depend on that lady because it took a hour to even get water from her(she may have been to busy refilling everyone’s liquor requests that came in after us) P. S the back in the day band was wonderful.

While I love that I have live jazz near my place, I yearn for Jazz at Jacks to get a makeover. With all of the speakeasy bars popping up everywhere, I am anxiously awaiting for the next trend to be the emergence of legit, hazy clubs-hollywood style! Skip the food and make sure to have plenty of drinks elsewhere to avoid the overpriced options here.

I loved this place! My fiancé is a huge jazz fan and this place was perfect for us to go to. It’s not a huge venue, but its perfect size for hearing live music. They have a bar section for getting drinks in the lobby area or you can sit outside. You can also order drinks during the show, they will serve you right at your table. The music was very good. I’m personally not a huge jazz fan, and I actually had fun listening to this band. They get the audience involved, and there’s a small dance floor where people are encouraged to come enjoy while they play. They sang happy birthday to someone in a hilarious way. It was very entertaining evening. Come check them out!
