KFC

KFC is not that bad. Its just that they have more more competitors in the area when it comes to wings so that’s why they are labeled as bad.
And sometimes, I find half cooked chicken on my plate. Its kinda disgusting for women but for us men its nothing but this issue is still alarming.
The place is old, I’ve known this place for a long time now and It seems that they doesnt even bother adding more decors on the dining area. And its also time for them to change their tables, I think those tables served them enough to be put on a warehouse or somewhere.

Awful service, no personality in either of the 2 girls there. The chicken cook in back had a beard that was way longer than standards allow with no beard net on. Also long ponytail not tucked into hat. Didn’t see any sign of a manager. 1 girl packed our food and set it on a tray on the line and walked off without saying a word to us. After about 6 minutes they put fresh fish from the fryers up into the warmers. I told the girl that since I had to wait for whatever reason I wanted fresh. Was told it is fresh. I waited over 5 minutes while my lunch sat on the line so no it isn’t fresh any longer. She then finally repacked our meal and set it aside again without saying a word AGAIN! I finally asked what I was waiting on this time and with attitude informed me told me fries. 13 minutes to get lunch. It sat on the back line for 12 of those monutes

Sign has said «clams» on one side and «yum» on the other for over six months. Will they ever change it. I know they spelled lemonade wrong a as the previous sign but they should at least try. ;)

I am not a big Unilocal person, but felt like this was a good time to leave a review. I was in last week, service was good, food was correct. I don’t really think leaving a bad review for a fast food place is worth it, unless something was absolutely terrible… it’s fast food, what do you expect?!?
But, while I was in there, a homeless lady was at the counter beside me. The manager approached and asked if he could help her, to which she replied (paraphrasing) «I’m homeless, hungry and don’t have any money.» My expectation was that he would say something to the effect of «Sorry but we can’t do anything.» Instead, the manager got his wallet out of his back pocket and had the cashier ring in a 3 piece combo meal and paid her for it. The cashier got the order and gave it to the grateful lady. She thanked him and walked back down the street.
I’m used to seeing stories like this all the time on facebook and other places and just rolling my eyes… whatever. But, it was really nice to see the human spirit in good form. I actually felt bad that I hadn’t done this myself when it was done, but felt like this needed to be shared just so it was out there.

Please do something about this restaurant — at least the Long John Silver’s part… I have always loved LJS — a real guilty pleasure — the golden crispy outside, the juicy tender inside of the chicken and fish… sure, it’s terrible for you, but doused in malt vinegar and it’s just perfect…
BUT, I can’t go back to this location any more. So poorly operated… food almost always burnt — actually dried out on the inside — even when made ‘fresh’ — of my last 4 orders, only one had the correct items in it… and today’s was missing the venerable malt vinegar after I specifically asked for it… and the food was actually terrible — I threw most of it in trash. And, like others have pointed out, you frequently have to wait… and then the food is still inedible! WTF!!!

The sign outside used to say «Lemoand» which I think means lemonade. Now the sign says clams. Do they even serve clams or is this a code word? Either way get me a bucket of clams with some hot sauce

Oh my god. If I could give negative stars– someone turn this KFC into a parking lot please. Awful service, all our orders were wrong, and drive through wait is 30 min. 30 MINUTES!!! I reviewed this KFC so that people would go
Somewhere else instead. Do yourself a favor and get a subway.

Normally I wouldn’t review a KFC, but based on terrible experiences I’ve had I thought I review was called for. I’ve only tried to eat here twice. The first time I was told they didn’t have any chicken ready and it would be a 25 minute wait. Really??? That seems like an inordinately long time. The second and last time I was told the cook had walked out, they didn’t have any chicken ready and they couldn’t tell me how long of a wait to get some.
This place needs to get it’s act together!

Took 30 minutes to get a $ 5 order! Others were waiting as well, all swearing to never come back again. The fish and shrimp were so-​so, but the fries were greasy and tough. LJS has gone WAY downhill since partnering with KFC… no surprise there. Captain D’s has much better food and the service is always fast and friendly. LJS/​KFC is a match made in heaven, they’re both third world fast food chains.

The food is usually ok, if they have it. Seems like they always run out of chicken strips right in the middle of lunch. If your always running out, learn to make more. I used to manage a kfc and I know this isnt hard to do.
Worse than the food though is the service and lack of a team. The other day I waited 20 minutes for my order. (I was told the strips would be done in 5 minutes) and the guy ahead of me had waited almost 30 minutes. Seems like I always end up waiting here. The bad thing is nothing changes and the manager very rarely helps out to speed things up.

This place employs the slowest, most unmotivated people on the planet. It took 15 minutes to get me my food which is ridiculous seeing everything is pre-​made already. All they have to do is heat it up. Geeze. Oh, and there was only 5 people in the dining room.

It is a haven for homeless people. I felt so sorry for our counter girl. I don’t think she knew how to read. She charged us the wrong prices. One meal said 8.49. Nothing was listed for that price. She was very apologetic. didn’t have the heart to complain. The food could have been warmer.
It is correct, there was no management whatsoever.

I hate slow drive-​thru because I’m always on the rush. Drove along Federal Blvrd and saw KFC, I dont have any other options that time because this is the first place the I passed that has a drive thru.
Not bad KFC, you made my day much worst than expected.

Well, it’s been over a year since last review. Same horribly stale food, lackluster service. Management clearly couldn’t care less about this place.

I would normally never review a chain fast food restaurant, but couldn’t help myself after my recent visit to this KFC/​LJS. It was the worst fast food experience of my life. That is saying a lot. I don’t have very high expectation of fast food. The LJS by our house recently closed and now I can see why. We ordered 2 cod meals which came out to close to $ 20. What we received were two boxes of cold, soggy fries; greasy, falling apart hush puppies; as well as two small nuggets of fish in each box. I am being literal. The pieces of fish were no bigger than chicken nuggets. I would have returned to get my money back but I didn’t want to spend one extra cent on gas for that horrific meal. Not only was the food awful, the service was as well. We were told we would need to wait 7 minutes for the fish to be cooked fresh. That was fine. However, we ended up waiting over 17 minutes for the food which was delivered to us with a frown and a shrug. There is no way that food could have been made fresh to order. Its appearance and taste led me to believe it had been sitting there for hours. Not only are the workers at this location unpleasant, they are slow and downright surly. These people do not care about their jobs or the quality of the food. I know these aren’t the best jobs in the world, but these people take no pride in their work. I am sorely disappointed in this experience overall and astonished that there does not appear to be any sort of management oversight to eliminate these problems. Everyone who was at this restaurant today looked unhappy, workers and customers alike. What a disappointment.

In total amazement how does this place open… KFC should be ashamed to have their name on this building this is the worst customer service I have never seen such a disorganized mess in my life if you have a chance don’t stop here

Small, dark and somewhat run down.
And, when did KFC chicken become so freaking expensive? $ 47 (inc tax) for a 20-​piece family bucket!
Staff was friendly.
No umbrellas on the patio.
Won’t be back.

Worst KFC I have ever visited. They are always out of dark meat and I am currently waiting for close to 25 minutes for my order. What kind of fried chicken establishment doesn’t have chicken ready during dinner time?

I was in a hurry to get to an appt and was hungry so I thought I hadn’t had KFC in a over a year and it would be a good choice. I made my order and got to my location, they did the order correctly and the food was lukewarm not hot. I think it was sitting under the hot lights for awhile. I went through the drive through around 12:40pm this afternoon.
I got to my appt by 12:55 and everything I had ordered for me and those who wanted me to order food for them complained to me that there chicken was dripping’ grease as it is a KFC/​Long John Silvers and that the skin was falling off and had no flavor to it.
The BBQ sandwich’s had only enough BBQ meat and sauce for one spoon foul and then the rest of the sandwich’s where just bread, a big disappointment for those of us who were craving a little BBQ for not alot of money.
Only KFC did poorly, the two people who had ordered Long John Silvers, the only thing they complained about was they wished they had hot fries, as there fries were cold, otherwise the food was just fine.
The group whom the food was ordered for would have expected the food to have been warm even better HOT and a little less grease, instead taking it out of friar and throwing it into the box, let it drain first. *HINT HINT*

I would give them 2 stars if they would give out referrals to a heart doctor at the door.
