King Soopers

I am super bummed they are closing at midnight now. The store is always so busy that I like to go after work right around 12 but I guess that won’t be happening.

What happened??? This store used to be great. I’m posting this review while I’m shopping and so far they are out of 3 of the 5 things I’m trying to buy. There is nobody in the deli, the poor bakery girl had to try to help me find produce, and I’ve only just started trying to shop. I wish the Safeway across the street was still here, it wasn’t much but at least it encouraged this place to try to compete.

Picked up a prescription for my daughter. Female Pharmacist asked for weight of my daughter. While my daughter was standing there with me, the female pharmacist called my daughter fat. NO ONE calls my daughter fat!!! Unethical, Unacceptable and just plain rude. Will never go to this King Soopers Pharmacy again.

Stopped by to grab a few things but many of the shelves were empty. :-(we honestly thought a major storm was about to hit and we just missed the broadcast. The plus side to our visit… We picked up two mini cakes trios leches (i think i spelled that right, if not my bad, ill do better next time) and double chocolate cake. Both were soooo good. Thumbs up to the bakery and the super nice checker, Leffie.

This review is about King Soopers Home Shop which is run from store #83.
King Soopers Home Shop is a nightmare. It is supposed to be a convenience but it causes tons of stress. I work a lot and consider spending 3 hours in the grocery store dealing with the rude and inconsiderate public to be a waste of my time. My husband and I are going to start using Walmart home delivery and expect better results.
King Soopers Home Shop charged me an additional $ 80.00 on my delivery order last week. I ordered 10 frozen meals for $ 2.00 each. We stated that it is okay to substitute flavors as we wanted 10 meals. Guess what, 50 meals were delivered due to illiterate shoppers who filled the order. They thought were ordering 10 melas of each flavor. We kept 10 and sent 40 back. This could have caused an overdraft in my bank account. I was refunded the money two days later but this should have never happened!
Another time, our order was delivered by a really rude driver who was late on two previous deliveries. He was two hours late one time! Last night he was half an hour late and refused to give me a receipt. He is so unprofessional. My husband complained today and his complaint was disregarded. We are disgusted with King Soopers Home Shop.
Never ever use King Soopers Home Shop. You will regret it!

Very friendly staff. great assortment of doughnuts and pastries. It seems kind of new, but I hope they get the same renovation as the other King Soopers in Denver. The only thing this one is missing is a sushi bar!

It’s the only King Soopers near me for about 20 minutes. With that being said, it does provide its services that I need (Pharmacy, small bakery and deli, with a bank inside as well).
I would never recommend shopping at this location anywhere between the hours of 3:00pm to 6:30pm, it’s always jam-​packed. Parking is a nightmare to get in and out, there are many crazy idiots who somehow passed the DMV testing (including me) that don’t know what «STOP» on a STOP sign means…
The checkers are very courteous and helpful, they’ve never been rude, the produce is mediocre, some things are over-​priced compared to other King Soopers; however, if you need milk at 3am, this place is open and has a very nice security guard that has always made sure I get to my car safely.

Hmmm, I thought I have reviewed this King Soopers, but to no avail I cannot find my review. *SIGH*
Once again there are GOOD Days, Bad Days @ this King Soopers. When its NEW in the Neighborhood all are ROSY!
But now with the recent visit on Wednesday July 11^th 2013 things are just A-​OK. Time was about 18:10hrs ish. If you are a KS card holder, you can definitely get the bargains, like BOGO, or even reduced price in produce, goods and all those SIMPLY ORGANICs Labels what nots.
I like it when we can do SELF-​CHECKOUTS. Fast, easy peasy. All in all, its this KS where we go for those Grocery needs.

I hate this grocery store but it’s a block away so I keep going back. After working in the grocery business for 6 years I can tell you this store leaves a lot to be desired. The people are NOT friendly and not helpful. The worst is the store manager «Peaches» I’ve been in there numerous times and passed her on the isles or on the front of the store. She has never once greeted me and always seems pissed off. A store manager should always greet people and always try to offer assistance. Her staff is the same way. They don’t go out of their way to help you find anything. I was in produce one day looking for squash and noticed the shelf was empty. I figured maybe they had just run out or maybe had some in the back. I asked the produce guy «do you have any squash» He turns to the wet rack and says «does it look like there is any left?» Super rude. I only go here because of how close it is.

This place is actually a great place to shop! Not only because it’s the GVR grocery store, it’s always well stocked and clean! The staff is nice and friendly. This is exactly what we needed in the area.

shopped here many times will probably shop here again but i try to avoid ANYTHING to do with customer service. There is usually 4 people behind the help desk one working 3 distracting. Furthermore in the checkout lines they are all working as a manager stands and watches put everyone to work doing something constructive and I will be much happier.

Every time I get gas here, my check engine light goes on. Inevitably, I forget this and fill up again.
At least it’s cheap, relatively speaking.

Nice soopers with friendly staff. No fresh sushi like at the one on yosemite or cherry creek :-(

I felt I really needed to update my review of this King Soopers. While it is still a battle with many of the patrons there, the staff is absolutely FABULOUS!
I actually told the woman at the meat counter I loved her, and I don’t think I’ve ever told someone at a store I loved them. But I had a special request and she went in the back and got me just what I needed, and let me in on the secret that usually the fish I was looking for was in stock, but not always out front. She’d always be happy to go in the back for me. Yay!
Also, 2 weeks ago I wrote King Soopers through the website asking them to help a girl out with vegetarian foods. I really hate driving miles upon miles to get 2 things I need. I just got a call from Rudy at King Soopers stating they can special order the food for me so I can have it ready whenever I need it. Now that is awesome! It will save me a lot of time, money and pain. That is awesome customer service!
I also quit going to the Safeway in Montbello, because they’ve changed the majority of their foods to a Hispanic selection of items, and that doesn’t really jive with what I eat.

As this is the only supermarket, besides Walmart, around, I would usually come here for my eats. The best part about the store is the deli and fried chicken. They have pretty good chicken and their deli selection of prepared eats is great!
Their pharmacy sucks big time and the people that work back there are extremely rude and lack customer service. I am sure it is still the same as the same folks still work there since the place opened.
I’ve since moved from that area and no longer shop here. I’ve switched to Safeway, although, Safeway’s deli isn’t as nice as KS’s, I still prefer Safeway over KS now.

This King Soopers leave a lot to be desired. It is rarely actually clean, often (like tonight) no carts and no baskets — how do you run a grocery without baskets? And then they are not clean. Ms. Peaches, our store manager, is almost never present so I think the folks do whatever they please. The meat department is sad, the seafood department isn’t hard to find (follow your nose). Fried Chicken, now they do make some mean fried chicken. Anyway, it seems a national chain like Kroger could do a little better job and be more consistent store to store. As a rule, the selection is better at the Safeway down the street.

For this area it is the best. Great prices and usually have everything i need.
