Lane Bryant

I’ve been in this store twice now. Both times the staff ignored me when I entered. When I asked for help with sizes, it was as if I had interrupted their very busy day of doing nothing. Both times the same woman had trouble figuring out how to run the cash register, asked me a bunch of questions without listening to the answer and was rude and surly. «Thank you for shopping» seems to be a phrase from the past. She just muttered a surly «have a nice day» without looking at me and went back to doing nothing.
Limited selection, sizes and rude staff. You can skip this store, like many of the others in Northfield.

I got «conned» into signing up for a Lane Bryant account on the auspice of getting credits for discounts and such. The result is that ANY discount I may have received is not worth the headache of shopping at a disreputable retailer! I am in the practice of using the card to obtain the credits and/​or points and then paying the bill immediately while I am in the store so I do not pay interest! I have spent the last 3 months trying to convince «comenity» (the company that handles the billing for their credit card) that I paid a bill at the store and this «mystery» charge that appeared on my bill that showed up on my card was for products that I did not purchase and do not own! I will NEVER shop a Lane Bryant again because that this could happen makes me extremely uncomfortable. I have never had a retail store bill me for stuff I did not purchase before. This is a horrendous practice and the fact that they did not pull the security camera data (which I requested) to clarify this issue just tells me that they do not value their customers. BEWARE and STAY AWAY from Lane Bryant. If you just HAVE to shop at this retailer — just be aware that you will want to STAY AWAY from their credit card. What good are the discounts when they will «arbitrarily» charge you for goods you did not purchase anyway? Better yet — go to Macy’s because their clothing is made much better anyway!

I do a lot of my shopping online but when I have to go to a Lane Bryant, this store fits the bill.
Always clean, with plenty of size selections.
The ladies are awesome. They seem genuine when assisting and conversing with shoppers.

I ordered a couple of belts online and I had them shipped to this store to avoid the fees of delivery.
I walked in and was greated in a luke warm tone after waiting in line for a minute or two. I was asked to sign some grid paper with my name and date and was told that it’d just be a minute. The salesperson went in the back and handed me my box of goods and muttered, «thanks». I asked if it would be okay if I opened the belts and tried them in case they didn’t fit. I got a neutral «sure» and so I proceeded to open the box with my keys and fish out the belts. They items were attached to some plastic thing that you really needed a knife, pliers or at the very least a pair of scissors to conquer. The boyfriend stepped in with this guns and managed to separate the belt from its hanger. All the while, the salesreps (2 without customers) stood by and watched us struggle. What happened to the days of «Hey — would you like a pair of scissors?» or «May I help you with that?»? Once off their leash, I tried one of the belts on and it fit. I then turned to the attentive and helpful staff and asked them if I could leave the packing materials with them (no point in carrying a box with stuff in it back to my car and home for trash removal when they’ve got a garbage righ there). They begrudgingly assented to my request and then as I’m leaving one of the clerks informs me that my sales slip is in the box and asks if I want it. I reply that I don’t and thank her and have to repeat myself 3 more times until she believes that I don’t want it. She looks at me as if I’ve fallen off the crazy train. Until the third time I tell her ‘no’ and she finally shrugs and takes the box as I originally asked her to do and disposes of it.
Gee, thanks.
Good news? I“m down 25 lbs and hopefully won’t have to endure this store and it’s super friendly staff much longer. ugh!

I have shopped here for many years, since I grew out of Express in high school. I generally just buy pants here because they fit well. The tops… not so much. If you are not large with big knockers you will have a very hard time finding tops, dresses or bras here.
I am glad that they have new styles of jeans because for a few years I didn’t like the ones they had so I had to settle for ill fitting jeans from other stores. I also really like their Houston pant. They are my go to pant.
A bit pricey but worth it because I feel comfortable shopping there and I enjoy the clothes.
This location is usually not too busy and well stocked.
