Like this area bar. Recently moved to the area and this will be my watering hole lol. Good prices, clean, and a pretty good crowd. Happy hour!!!

Local area bar! Great if you want to avoid the hassle of going downtown. Fair drink prices and pretty good dance music. I met the DJ on Saturdays that also mixes on 107.5 during the week. Great times at Lookin Good Bar. Pretty good local crowd, not too young.

Lovely bartender but way too loud. Local dive seems and cash only bar. Didn’t like it.

Local semi-dive + local semi-dive regulars + cash-only bar = not the first choice by a long shot. BUT(because it’s either but or butter…) they have karaōke. That’s why I’ve ventured inside this place before, and why I’ll venture inside again at some point. As mentioned, they are a cash-only bar which for that reason alone would make this place only one star. I’m sure there’s some sort of business mumbo jumbo to rationalize this fact; if nothing else it may be as simple as «they just don’t feel like taking credit cards». Still, I rarely carry cash(and certainly not enough for a few drinks), and was just thankful I had my debit card on me to use their ATM during my first visit because my credit card doesn’t have a pin. So just come prepared, with relatively weak wells priced at $ 4-ish dollars and some nightly specials, mainly on domestic beer by-the-bucket. The first time I went I saw they had little table plaques with food listed, but I didn’t read it over at all. And at some point a server went around and took them off the tables, so I’m thinking one might be able order bar snacks up to a certain point from the adjacent restaurant(Lookin’ Good Restaurant, fittingly enough) but this is not yet confirmed. Also, the bathroom(for women, which is as far as my knowledge goes), is pretty shotty. Shotty potty, as it were(heh). It’s like the toilet is in the back half of the bathroom, sectioned off by a door that doesn’t lock(as of last time I was there), and then the sink is in the first part, closed off by another door that doesn’t lock. So hold it, or go quickly and hope no one barges in on you. The combination of light pours(though maybe it’s because I’m a strange face…), no credit cards accepted, and a less-than-secure bathroom would usually be enough to turn me away indefinitely. Still, and my heart can’t deny, you’re lookin’ good because you have karaōke four nights a week.
