Marty’s 47th Street Donuts

Might be slow sometimes but Marty’s isn’t a dunkin donuts. It’s a small mom and pops shop with great food and you won’t find a donut better in the area.

I stopped by here half an hour after they had just opened on a Saturday morning and apparently they were already running out of donuts. It was a good thing I didn’t come here for the donuts. A buddy of mine had recently bought me a breakfast sandwich from this place and it was so delicious that I had to come back for more. The hot link breakfast sandwich with added bacon is delicious and probably one of the better breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Nothing spectacular about it, it’s essentially a simply sandwich comprised of hot link, eggs, bacon, American cheese, in between white toast, but it gets the job done!
Service is pretty slow though… I highly recommend calling and ordering ahead unless you have absolutely nothing to do and all the patience in the world to stand there and wait for someone to pop out from the back to take your order and then disappear for a while only to finally come back with your order and by then it’s already lunch time… ok maybe I was exaggerating a little…
Donuts must be good if they’re always out eh?

At 1030am the place has no doughnuts save time and look elsewhere if you are looking for doughnuts on a morning. Seems this place is more interested in selling deli style food than doughnuts. Wouldn’t waste my time even trying to come back the 7 – 11 right next door has more doughnuts than this doughnut shop!

I work near by and stop in to get coffee once or twice a week so I know these good people. You probably wont meet a nicer donut shop owner in Denver. I would give a higher grading but more then half the time I stop in, the cases are empty.

Came at 9:50am and they were out of donuts. Out of donuts??? He did say they had a few coming up. Also, FYI they only make fritters on Fridays. I will say the guy at the counter was very nice tho. Doubt I’ll stop in again as I went out of my usual commute to stop in.

Love Marty’s! I have been working in this area for over a year and this is a regular stop. No donuts on display because they sell as fast as they come out. Just ask them, likely they have what you are looking for in the back. No crazy concept donuts, just awesome simple donuts with great flavor. Their breakfast sandwiches and burgers at lunch are also some of the best in the area. I have been there numerous times and never have I had a bad experience.

It is unfortunate that I like doughnuts so much but who doesn’t, right? Well if you are a doughnut lover or occasionally sneak one into your diet, you MUST try this place out. OMG! I found this place via Unilocal & personally I haven’t had a doughnut this good in a very long time. I bought three dozen of them for a business meeting. Even after a 10 minute drive back to the office, the bottom of the box was still warm so you knew they were fresh. Folks in the office kept asking where I got the donuts? Oh and the staff was wonderful, as well. I cannot wait to go back (and either can my office mates).

Stopped in for a donut while my car is getting service across the street. Got here at 8 AM on a Saturday. There are a total of 16 donuts available. All but three are just regular glazed, the other 3 are coconut topped. I got ONE glazed donut and it was $ 1.24, for a donut! Way over priced!
The guy working the counter is wearing a hoodie and has his headphones around his neck. Not friendly at all, unprofessional, way overpriced, and basically zero options. How is this place in business?

Donuts…
I had a mini gathering with some friends. Since this is the nearest Donut establishment along the way to my friend’s house to Marty’s 47^th Street Donuts, I went. I was at this establishment about 08:30hrs ish.
Recent visit was on Friday March 7^th 2014. Thankfully when I arrived at this establishment I managed to purchase 10 donuts. The Fancies, is $ 1.15 each while the Donuts is $ 0.75 each. I got hold of 10 donuts hence the total cost was $ 10.23 with tax.
After I was about to leave, the next batch of donuts to be ready, I overheard from the conversation, the staff had to the other patrons, will take about 30 minutes. Hence do take your time and ONLY go if you are NOT in a hurry in case you have to wait for freshly baked/​freshly fried Donuts, OR Just CALL ahead of time.
That morning the offerings, or the ones that are already made from the kitchen, were 5 dipped with Chocolate, 3 Glazed Donuts and 2 Dipped with Raspberry Glazed of some kind. 3 Stars at best. When I arrived at my friend’s house, and when my friends had the Donuts, some like it, some just said OK. The Donuts are more like cake-​y version of Donuts, I think. All in all Decent Donuts, though I wish they could have more variety. May return when needed.

This place never has any donuts left on display. Never! Not even at 8am «It’s all good — I got you covered,» says the upbeat cashier. Yep, there are always more donuts on the way. Fresh, delicious donuts.

Great breakfast wraps, fully stuffed with yummy fillings. I am partial to the bacon one and if you want they can add green chili!
Also their donuts are wonderful! If I am in Denver I come here for the donuts especially the chocolate twist

There’s only one doughnut shop even close to Stapleton. Luckily the doughnuts are pretty good. When you walk in to this stip mall find, you wouldn’t even know they had doughnuts. The case is always empty, but that just means that if they still have them, the doughnuts will be fresh. Many times I have taken home warm little circles of sugar home for the hubby. They will make them just about any way you want. You can also call ahead and place an order for pick up. Get them early because they will run out later in the morning because the locals will eat all up.
