I am so excited that this little grocery store is open in North Park Hill, where other than this spot, there are just no options for fresh produce. The produce is fresh, and they have quite a variety! I was able to get everything there on my grocery list and avoid the lines at Safeway or King Soopers. I think there prices are extremely reasonable and I was also pleasantly surprised to see all the basics that were stocked on their shelves. They also have some specialty foods — this is one of the first times I have found oxtail, and their meat department was pretty packed full of different things, including fish, alligator, catfish, shrimp… and great Mexican food as well. I know I will be back and I will try and do my grocery shopping here. Who doesn’t want to be supporting a local market that is fulfilling a desperate need in this neighborhood that could be described as a food desert? Mountain Fresh Market, I really hope you continue to do well!

You will not find a better price for produce and by shopping here you are supporting the local economy! That alone makes a trip to this market worth it

This is a great contribution to the NE Park Hill neighborhood! The produce is fresh, fairly priced and amazingly close to my house. I can skip the hustle and bustle of driving to the big box markets. I hope you bring in more options as you see your clientele grow. Thank you for keeping Denver local and providing quality options!

We needed fresh food in our neighborhood! The prices are great and the food is local. They also donate extra food. If you have any requests they will carry anything you purchase on a regular basis. We love walking to the market! Thank you mountain fresh

Place is the best. I go here every day considering I work down the street. Prices are very fair. Quality wise it’s a 10. I have never bought anything that did not taste well. Also when I had a question on how to chose avocados(no idea what-so-ever) Matthew was more than willing to show me. Will return time after time.

The market is a great local addition to the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood that was/is desperately needed in the area. They are currently mostly a produce market but are expanding as fast as they can to offer more things such as a few package items and eventually a few meat items. One of the associates who works there told me that they’ll be sourcing the meat items from the same coop where they obtain their eggs from. All of the produce is super fresh and they also have fresh herbs and some organic items as well. The produce is fresh and they consistently run specials on whatever they have extra of and post their specials on nextdoor and their facebook page so if you’re looking for a deal follow their page. I’m so happy to have a little local place where I can run and pick up a few healthy items so that I don’t have to go and trek through a major supermarket. Support these guys! They’re local!

YEAH! These guys. This place. I love the prices of mountain fresh, given the newness of the establishment and the space, I also love their selection. Mostly I love the people. Genuinely great people. It does seem as if their prices are rising a bit, but I won’t complain too much, they’re still much cheaper than any other place around. I’m excited to see what else they do here. Here are my thoughts on what they should do: 1. Jump on the local bandwagon. It would be cool to get some of the«artisinal» denver foods here, even if it is a little out of their price range. Maybe like a «higher end» piece of the store. All the hipsters will flock. 2. Keep the prices low on general produce. This will be pretty important as this place isn’t really walkable for many people being in an industrial area. But you can bet I will make the 15 minute drive if I’m getting lots of produce for a great price.

Me and my girlfriend stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon. Place was pretty empty and the gentleman working there told us Sunday tends to be their slowest day. Despite this, the produce selection is extensive, both organic and not, and on top of that it is incredibly cheap! We walked out with a full garden in two bags for under $ 10. The produce was colorful and fresh, the staff there was very helpful in finding what we were looking for as well as talkative. They told us they will be continuing to add goods as much as possible, but regardless its great to have a small produce place with such good selection and reasonable prices!
