I went here for facial skin treatments. I did receive a lot of kindness from all the people at the front desk, however, I was very uncomfortable during the whole treatment, which was supposed to be relaxing. I didn’t get a lot of respect from the person who was doing my facial treatment. It was actually quite the opposite. I get the need for helpful pointers and tips, but I was getting so much criticism, and a lot of unnecessary comments, that I couldn’t wait to just pay the $ 80 and just get out. It almost made me not want to go get a facial/skin treatments again. I don’t know how the rest of the salon is, but I definitely would not recommend doing what I did. It made me feel self-conscious, insignificant, and uncomfortable.

I had a manicure by Tatiana. When she was done, ny nail polish had bubbles. She tried to fix 3 of the 9 nails, and just made it worst. She knew she was using old nail polish, but couldn’t open the new nail polish. Rather than acknowledged her mistake, she just left. Very unprofessional. Don’t waste your time with her. I ended up getting a refund.

After 3 weeks of trying to get a hold of Tatiana she finally called me back to schedule a nail appointment and then tried everything to get me not to book with her with my Living Social coupon. It expires in June and she told me she is booked out solid until after it expires. This is bad practice. She never once considered maybe I am someone who gets my nails done often and am looking for a go to nail place. If you’re not interested in booking people for your service, perhaps you shouldn’t put anything on Living Social.

I recently had a massage with Jeff, and I’d like to start off by saying that Jeff is a great massage therapist and was very friendly and welcoming. If this review were only about him I’d totally give him 5 stars, but unfortunately there were other factors completely out of his control that led to me having a less than stellar experience. First, I was not at all impressed with Oxygen’s environment. I could hear children screaming and running around in the lobby throughout my entire treatment, which is probably the last thing I want to hear while I’m trying to relax. Second, the massage table didn’t have an adjustable headrest. I wouldn’t call myself a spa or massage«connoisseur» or anything, but every other 60+ minute massage I’ve ever gotten has had a table with an adjustable headrest. Because this table didn’t adjust, my neck was somewhat strained the whole time. Finally third, and not to scare anybody, but shortly after leaving Oxygen, I developed these large, very itchy red welts down my leg that look frighteningly like bed bug bites. I’m not saying they are bed bug bites, but when I compared my rash to photos of bed bug bites on WebMd, they looked disturbingly similar. I sincerely hope that if Oxygen Day Spa reads this, they’ll take precaution and wash their linens, just for good measure.

My 4* rating goes to for Jeff Kramer, massage therapist. I get at least one massage per month and have travelled all over the world, hence my knowledge of what a good, thorough massage for me should be like :-) I do hope to continue with Jeff while my schedule allows and his thorough therapy continues. I’m looking forward to my next visit… :-)

If you want an amazing massage by someone that knows what they’re doing, go to Jeff. He has strong hands and is very knowledgable about all different types of injuries and conditions. It took me awhile to find someone that knows what they’re doing, and then I found Jeff!

Horrible salon… I went here with a Bloomspot deal and Jessica the hair stylist made me feel incredible uncomfortable and cheap for buying her deal?! She also threated to change me and extra $ 10 since my hair was longer than my shoulders… This is probably the worst salon I have EVER been to. I seriously have no idea how they are still in business. Jessica was very negative and didn’t have anything positive to say. She made the whole experience a night mare… I seriously almost walked out because I didn’t even want to her touch my hair and mess it up… My hair looks okay, definitely not my best but not my worst either. I would highly recommend not buying any kind of deal for this salon or paying full price…

Kat Ross-Makinen is the best stylist in Cherry Creek or perhaps all of Denver proper. She used to work at a different salon but thank GOD she got out of there because the owner of that salon was AWFUL and it made going to see Kat hell. But yay! Now she’s at Oxygen! Better salon all the way around, FAR better ownership, great services. Not sure what you’re looking for; I get a little color and a cut and a nice blow out — perfect every time, especially her Brazilian Blow Out. Can’t beat it. Visit this salon and Kat in particular! The lady is GREAT at what she does.

Worse salon experience of my life. Not because the haircut or coloring was bad(albeit nothing special) but the service was so very rude. I am Asian, recently moved to Denver, and was looking for a stylist who understands Asian hair. Than, the owner, seems to dislike Chinese people. He asked me what type of Asian I was and I told him I am Chinese American. He basically stopped talking to me for the rest of my appointment. It was ridiculous and odd. I mentioned I’d like to have my hair cut with long layers, to which he responded, «I don’t need you to tell me how to cut hair.» Then he charged me $ 150+ for his rudeness. Aside from being located in Cherry Creek, the salon looks like it could belong in any strip mall. Very unimpressive.

Fairly low-key place for Cherry Creek. The stylists make the salon. Larissa & Robert are seasoned pros. I always leave happy.
