Painting Soiree on Santa Fe

Had a great time painting here. Tabitha was extremely fun and accommodating. Went here for a little work team building with a group of 7 and Tabitha was nice enough to do a private class for us. We were able to pick a painting we wanted to paint, and painted away. She was great with guidance and instruction while also keeping it fun.
The space itself is a great size. She has all of her work featured all over for inspiration. I loved that she made us take our paintings outside of the studio to step back and look at it in a different way. Something I never would have thought to do.

I have grown and become so much more confident in creating art through the time I’ve spent at the Painting Soirees. Tabetha is encouraging and delighful to spend time with. I love chatting and connecting with other newer and more experienced artist when I’m there!

I had such a great time today. I went during an open paint time and felt so comfortable with Tabetha. She is so positive. The afternoon was very relaxing and therapeutic. I paid $ 25.00 which included all the supplies. I am going to take a one of the classes next time.

Was the most fun we’ve had on a date night in a while. Not the usual dinner and a movie thing. My husband and I are most definitely NOT artists but we stepped out of our comfort zone and are so glad we did. Tabetha was welcoming and made us feel at ease — and gave us confidence in our own (limited) abilities. What fun! We had a Groupon but we plan to come back at full price… with friends in tow. Try it, you’ll like it!

Super, super fun. Tabetha is delightful and a lovely guide to enjoy the fabulous experience of painting. Will go again ASAP.

I have done tons of painting classes at other places like this but this one was far and wide the best place we have even done painting at. Tabitha was a great teacher and set a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend it to others. It is also one of the few places you can bring your own wine!

We had so much fun with Tabatha at Painting Soirée, she was so much fun and encouraging with all of us, she paints right along with you and gives you pointers for your very own masterpiece. I would highly recommend Painting Soirée for parties friends, family. I liked it so much I’m going back for her Sunday afternoon Paint Club.

No talent? No worries!
I visited Painting Soirée this afternoon with a group, and had a blast. We painted «Autumn Lane,» and what I ended up with was actually quite a bit better than I thought I’d create. That’s definitely thanks in part to Tabetha, the owner and artist, who is friendly and incredibly helpful.
Here’s how it works: your group selects a painting from many Tabetha has to offer, and get ready to get creative. You’ll be provided with a canvas, an easel, an apron, paintbrushes, paint, etc. Tabetha paints her own version of the painting right along with you, so you benefit from not only listening to her guidance, but watching her, too.
She’s friendly, and it’s doubtful that anyone in the group is a professional — so you have no reason to feel nervous about your painting ability (or lack thereof). Many of the options are abstract, so you have a lot of variance in how you’ll put together your own personal masterpiece.
So, give it a try! After a few hours, you’ll have your own original painting to take home and do what you will with. Frame it? Give it to someone as a gift? Whatever! It’s way too much fun to pass up.
