Pavillions Theatre

Wow! Pavilions you have stepped up your game! This is not the same beat-​down sketchy theatre it once was. Reserved, reclining seats and the place has been remodeled! Very clean. And if you hit up theatre 9 (the RPX one), the sound and picture quality are top notch! We saw Star Wars 3D in IMAX at another theatre then saw it 3D in the RPX one and I’d almost say the RPX one is better. Very impressive!
Only negative: The trash was just overflowing when we went IN to the movie. So maybe they’re short on help or something. But that wasn’t a huge deal. I plan to hit this place up a lot more now!

Um, I don’t know what’s wrong with the other reviewer, but this place has drastically improved since I last came here.
Here’s why — the new Lazy-​Boy leather seats. Yes, this is the real deal. Denver Pavillions 15 completely remodeled their theater and installed a huge comfy reclining leather seat for every theater patron. Even better — this theater renovation provides much MORE legroom in each row. I mean, I’m a tall dude (6′ 5″), and was very very comfortable with the amount of personal space each seat proved.
I’m blown away right now on how AWESOME this is! You order you ticket, pick your seat selection, and then go and live like a king in the theater. I didn’t want to leave once my Hunger Games Mocking Jay Part 2 movie ended. Just kick that seat back (via electronic button) and relax, folks!

Super disappointed that this theater has started doing assigned seating. Unlike baseball games where you have to pay for better seats, the Pavillions now bases your seats on a first-​come-​first-​serve basis. Guess going to the theater on a whim is out of the question of you want a decent seat. Probably won’t be coming back here unless we buy our seats 3 weeks ahead.
