The vegetarian phở was nearly inedible. The flavor was awful and there were no veggies in it other than some awful carrots. The vermicelli combo was pretty bad, too. The meat was ok I suppose, but the noodles were soggier than baby food. Everything tasted stale, like it’d been cooking for hours if not days. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Hard to critique. Phở broth not bad, but the portions are jokes. Ordered a large, literally had 15 strands of noodles in the bowl. Maybe 16. But comparing the other phở place next door, they’re both tied for worst phở places in Denver. To the owners: stop being so cheap. People want what they pay for.

This is what delivery looks like… and it’s beautiful! Fast delivery, and it was also still really hot when it got here. And it tastes ahhhhmazing. I like that you can get delivery Vietnamese phở from downtown Denver on 16th. Sometimes I just don’t feel like driving all the way to federal to get my phở on. It helps if you’re feeling sick and don’t want to leave the house. The portions fit well in my large phở bowl, with broth to spare. I’m happy!

I love this place! I get tofu phở with beef broth to go and it always satiates my craving. The broth is good and doesn’t taste like soap like some places do. Fresh ingredients. Delicious.

I was craving Vietnamese food and found this place while walking around downtown. When I entered the building, I immediately smelled the familiar pungent smell of phở and thought this place might be legit enough. The end result was mediocre. I was impressed that they made Vietnamese coffee correctly, but it still ended up being watered down. The phở was good enough, except it only had«acceptable» meat, so no tripe or other«strange» cuts of meat. The spring rolls were also unimpressive. Just meh overall. This place did satisfy my craving, but I’ve also had better. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

Shrimp spring rolls, and Phở with vegetable broth. Also with shrimp. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is yummy. Plus I like the blue little lights around the establishment. The service is friendly. If I am ever back in Denver, I will visit this restaurant again.

Would not recommend this place. Ordered 2 large rare steak phở’s and an order of egg rolls. With delivery($ 5 charge) The total price was $ 36. A little steep for phở but I still felt optimistic. The delivery company they work through sent a guy with a nasty attitude. The phở broth was sooooo tiny! Both containers were less than ¾ full, and had 8 and 9 piece of rare steak pieces. The egg rolls were not crispy, but more chewy. Sure that there was some kind of mistake, I called to confirm the pricing of my order thinking they may have sent two smalls by mistake. The girl on the phone sounded apathetic and offered no solution. She said that next time I should ask for extra broth for an extra charge. Wow.Bummer. After $ 40(with tip) we felt robbed. Bland broth, bad service and overpriced for portion size. Two disappointed thumbs down.

I got the tofu with broccoli and carrots phở. The tofu was done with the exterior a little chewy. Really nice touch! The broth was veggie and really tasty. The noodles were done perfectly. The onions set it off nicely. Good toppings as well If you are vegetarian this is a place you must try. They are down in a hole downstairs. Not romantic. No outside seating that I could see. But this is really good food.

Not sure why people rate this low but they do make some authentic Banh mi sandwiches, Vietnamese coffee and Phở! Sure it’s not a upscale place, but ideal for lunch. Priced reasonably well

Not a bad place in 16th street mall if you are looking for a quick bite. Giving a 3 star as there are plenty of better options nearby and this place doesn’t stand out amongst others.

They are such sweet people here! Food was good also. Phở is perfect when you’re not feeling well.

Just just no… This place has a good location and it seems clean for the most part but that does not make up for the bland taste in food and it did not seem authentic like someone just bought phở flavoring broth and added water and called it phở. like i could do that. there’s phở ramen. i came for fresh phở.

This place wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t bad either. I was in Denver for a conference and looking for a place to grab a quick meal. Listen, if it weren’t for my friends’ lively conversation at the table, I would’ve been annoyed by how long it took for the food to come out. We were there for longer than an hour when realistically each of our dishes could’ve been out in half that time. I don’t think they were that busy, but the wait staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. The service was nice, but not super efficient. I tried phở for the first time here and I liked it, so I guess that’s worth something but it would’ve been great to have a bit more seasoning for the tofu and broth. Slightly underwhelming. Whatever, back to NY.

I’m usually a really easy phở eater… tiny bit of hoison and a tiny bit of sriracha and I’m good. This place however, requires a ton of stuff because it’s bland. The meat and noodles were fine but if you don’t start with a good base for phở, which is the broth, it all goes downhill from there. My boyfriend ordered the sesame chicken and it was ok. It had a good flavor but the breading was a little soggy.

Great location downtown and the server was very nice… now for the food. The Phở was fair at best. The broth(as some have mentioned) is a bit bland, maybe they are on the forefront of a low-sodium movement I am unaware of??? My main complaint was the lack of meat in the Phở. I get the feeling they are trying to keep the price point in the same range as the Phở places on Federal, not reasonable considering the high rent they must pay in the 16th St mall. Raise the price a couple bucks and give me enough meat to be competitive with the others in town. The spring roll was good, but the peanut sauce was lacking something, it was a bit thin and did not pack a stout flavor. Would I go back? Probably, if I was craving Phở downtown, although my expectations would be adjusted and I would pay for the extra meat option on the menu.

The service was first class, the Phở was delicious. I was walking down 16th Street and decided to give them a try and glad I did. Service is quick, very helpful and well worth the visit. It was my first time experiencing Vietnamese food and had many questions for the server. She took the time to answer questions and show me how and what the Phở came together with. I recommend the restaurant and enjoy the food.

I’m a firm believer that the make it or break it factor of phở is the broth. This joint has good broth so I’m a fan. It definitely hits the spot. Also, it doesn’t break the bank so that helps. Over all I would say this place is quality. What I really like is that the restaurant is in the basement which makes it unique and a little weird. There’s some charm to this place. I’m all about that so high marks for location. It’s an easy stop in when you are hanging out on the 16th St. Mall however it can get kinda busy during the lunch rush. There may be a wait so I say go at a random time and you’ll have no problem getting a seat. The phở, as I mentioned, is very good but they also serve a variety of dishes. There’s a little something for every one. From what I can tell it’s all very good but what can I say? I’m a sucker for the phở. Plus, they serve beer. Employees here can sometimes seem stressed out but that’s understandable considering the location and the rush of people. Still, I’ve never had terrible service that would warrant a rant on Unilocal so that’s good news. I think this is a good place to get some solid phở. It’s that simple. Broth.

Curiously, the complaints about bland phở broth have been around for years. Well it’s 2014, and guess what – I’m here to report: the broth is still bland. That pretty much sums it up. I mean I felt the service was normal, it’s 3 young ladies and one of them forgot to bring me the slip to sign but no biggie. The location was serene and quiet. If you just need a bowl of hot noodles to satiate your asian food craving in the middle of Downtown Denver on a business trip – it will do.

Had to file a police report against the owner because the owner apparently«googled» me and found my work phone address. The owner talked to my boss regarding my review of his restaurant. Officer Richmond recommended that I get extra patrol and file a restraining order against the owner for my own protection. Hopefully the owner does not end up hurting myself nor my family. The owner has my credit card information including my address. I hope we ill be safe here at home. But from the actions of the owner of this place I am scared. I hope I won’t get hurt for writing a Unilocal review.

The ambience was great. A few water fountains, some bamboo… All in the basement of a office building in the 16th street mall. And the service was pleasant. Inefficient, but pleasant. I don’t know how many times I had to ask for fish sauce, and still, it did not arrive. A simple«no» or «we don’t have any» would have been sufficient… But each time, the servers said«be right back». Perhaps they meant, that they would«be right back» to ask me if I still wanted some fish sauce? Anyway. Everything was flavorless. The broth, the meat, the basil, the coffee, the sriacha… I really felt like EVERYTHING was watered down. I suppose, the fish sauce would have tasted watered down too. So, really, no big deal that I didnt get it.
