Pints Pub is one of my absolute favorite places to go for a drink after work. The selection of house-made beers is fantastic, and if you’re a whisky fan there’s literally no better place to go. It’s perfect if you’re just popping in for one, or if you’re hungry the menu is wide ranging and very creative. Great appetizers,(the wings and bisto chips being my favorite) and entrées ranging from great sandwiches and burgers to a London broil and lamb skewers. Everything I’ve eaten here has been fabulous, the daily soups never disappoint either! The atmosphere here is always warm and inviting, due not only to be décor and ambiance but also the friendly staff. They’re always helpful and extremely knowledgable about their products, which is impressive as they have around 300 bottles of whisky. I usually tend to get a Sir Perry pear cider, I recommend it but also encourage anyone to branch out and try some of their house made brews. Love it!

No surprises here. Scotch drinkers will love Pints. They have hundreds of options, most of which are hanging on the walls or from the ceiling. I’ve attended a couple of Scotch tastings, as well. For $ 35 you get to try four Scotches and it includes a lite dinner spread. I’d probably get more bang for my buck just buying 2 drinks, but I wouldn’t get the diversity of flavors or the education that comes from attending a tasting. Ben has been the host for the tastings that I’ve attended, and he has always done a great job. Very engaging and knowledgeable without being pretentious. This the best place in Denver to stretch your Scotch legs.

When you order dish and chips you think of fried cod with fries but here the dish arrived as a small piece of salmon on salad. Lame! The beer was luke warm from the tap. Not sure if thats how it’s normally served. Service was ok. Atmosphere ok. Cool building and history.

This place is an awesome pub, one of the few places that I’ve found that has cask ale(hand pump tap and served at room temperature). The food is good and English style, and the scotch selection is amazing.

Stopped in for lunch here today and it was warm and welcome and a great place to get out of the snow! I had the highlander bird a grilled chicken sandwich with the smoked mozerella for lunch and it was fabulous! They bring over all the fixings! I would definitely like to go back!

Very neat place. I rarely fine authenticity themed places and this little pub is legit. The bar area was very unique to say the least. The very large menu offers a great variety of innovative foods very appropriate for the British theme. They serve food until 11 which is great. I even had to laugh at the bathroom. Old fashion toilets with the pull down chain and wooden water box high above the toilet. I didn’t have anything to drink there to attest to the quality of beer, but they do make thier own beer. The words«on tap» have a completely different meaning. My husband was impressed with thier process of «pumping» the beer up and out. They brew in the basement and offer many floor windows to view the process as a customer. I would recommend this place for the experiences mainly. What I had there was good, but my amusement was mainly on the atmosphere. I would like to go again to try more foods. PS I had two appetizers: the Bistro Chips and the Lamb*. Very good.

Pints is a great place to visit after the museum or a trip to the library. It’s just a block away from both locations. They have a pretty extensive tap list and tasty munchies to enjoy while you sip. We always stop by when in the area. Try the pub chips — they are great!

Where do I begin? We went here because of the living social deal. The promise of a big whisky selection and cask conditioned beers sounded great. First problem: location. It’s not near any other night life or anywhere else for that matter. The décor is a mockery /parody of a British pub. These are all minor violations that could have been overlooked if they hadn’t ruined their beers. We had a Scottish ale and a stout, both of which were SOUR(they were *not* advertised as sour beers). Perhaps their casks are infected with a bacteria producing these off flavors, maybe your lines are dirty. Either way, this is unacceptable. We quickly stopped drinking the beers and switched to a flight of scotch. Skip the«freshman flight», which included a clone of Chivas regal(my favorite of the bunch) to others that had distinct finishes of rancid oil and burnt plastic. The service was fine and wait staff very friendly and helpful, but honestly I don’t think I would ever return with a town full of such great beer.

What a disappointment. I am certain that I will not be back. We were seated alone in the back of the restaurant because we had an eleven-year old with us. The space was cold, echoed loudly, and appeared worn out. The bar area was better with three people, a couple and an individual at the actual bar. Yet, we were seated in the«hole.» The real deal-breaker was watching wait staff and cooks play around with food. The cook wiped his hands on his butt and then handled food… not ours, but really? I do not think his pants were clean enough for food prep. I did once like this place, but Pints Pub is shabby, poorly staffed, and mediocre in the food area to say the least. Nearby restaurants are better choices. I don’t see this business staying around much longer. RIP«Pints Pub.»

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Pints Pub. If if there was such a thing as a whisky museum Pints is it. I’m partial to «the beast» but I hear the beer is pretty good too. Over 175 single malt whiskies. WHAT?! Yeah… That’s a lot of scotch. We walked about 2 miles to get there from our hotel and then proceeded to eat and drink. I got to try the Old Pulteney 17 year, the Springbank 10, and the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban. They treated us right. The staff takes their whisky very serious but not themselves. I get giddy thinking about going back.

I recently went on a Craft Tour(Centennial Tours) and this quaint little British pub was our first stop. I was in awe over the selection of Single-Malts lining the wall. It has to be one of the largest in the world. The whiskey was awesome and the vibe was casual. Probably not good for large groups but it was great to belly up at the bar and taste some whiskeys.

I dig this place but it’s missing a certain element. I couldn’t tell you what it is, but I live right down the street and have only been here once. I had a good time when I came, but I just never cared to return to this place, or refer it. Oh well.

Nice view and they have live beers, which is a natural way of brewing beer. Nice servers and a chill atmosphere. Will definitely come back with the British feel, it’s a nice escape for regular Vegas.

I almost feel like this place should be rating me as a customer. Pint’s is an institution. It is classy without being ostentatious. It is steeped in tradition and lends itself well to throwing back a few… pints…with close friends. I have never been to Scotland, Ireland or England, but when I do I hope this is what they are like. We went in for a single dram of Scotch and ended up staying several hours. That’s just what this place is for. The beers are good and the Scotch selections are out of this world. I could live here. I must also say that the dumpster fire outside was a «fun» attraction as well. Lol

Ello gov’na. Could ya pull me a pint? I totally have to have a British accent when I walk in to this place. It just seems right. Of course, the luster wears off but it’s still a good time. The atmosphere of this restaurant is pretty cool — it’s dark and woody. Used to be a house, but now it’s a pub — way cool. Upon entering, the multitude of Scotch bottles at the bar can be overwhelming. So, Scotch drinkers unite! Otherwise, they have a decent selection of beers. I usually get the wheat beer or a cider cuz that’s how I roll. The few times I’ve had food it has always been… interesting. If you’ve ever had real British food then you know that’s the best way to describe it… interesting. It’s not bad, just different. Still, it does the trick if you’re in need of a place for a downtown lunch meeting. Generally, the service is attentive depending on how busy the place is. It’s not uncommon for there to be a little bit of a wait but that just follows the British style of doing things. Take your time, sit back and relax. Who cares? It’s all in good fun.

This place is very fun with the Euro atmosphere. The beers were excellent and obviously, the single malts are a plethora. Worth a visit for all!

I found this place completely by accident while wandering around downtown Denver. Somewhat oddly, it’s about a block away from nine different bail bondsmen, and a lawyer. So if you find yourself in Denver looking to bail out a friend/loved one/other and you want to grab some food along with a good beer or nip of scotch at the same time, this is your destination! Easy to find if you look for the antique and non-working red British public phone booth outside. The inside and outside of the building are oozing charm. I could have done without the requisite portrait of the queen, but I know that’s needed to make it authentic. There are a dozen beers on tap along with about a gajillion bottles of scotch and other spirits. I would need several months of regular visits just to work my way through the lineup. It’s pretty impressive for such a small bar. I tried only their dry stout, and that was pretty good. I got the«Terribly Healthy» lunch, which consisted of a broiled, boneless, skinless chicken breast with fresh green salad & a cup of french onion soup. The soup was great, the salad was very good and the chicken breast was a bit saltier than I would have liked, The service I got was great. Quick and personable. But they were a bit slow to notice the family that came in as I was about to leave.

I have always been a fan of Pint’s, and coming back here was as comfortable as strolling into my parents’ living room. The interior is covered in beautiful wood, the house ales are no mass-brewed chain swill but the real deal, and the cask-conditioned ales are properly served room temperature and are absolutely exquisite. The food is a great selection of classic British pub food(somewhat Americanized) with domestic standards thrown in, although the menu item titles are in a hard-to-read calligraphic font. I’ve never sent a dish back here, it’s just good, simple pub food. And then the scotch. Oh dear me they have hundreds arrayed behind the bar inverted on taps, and many of them quite rare and hard-to-find. Were I to really let loose I could drop $ 700 in an evening just sampling some of the more treasured single malts they offer, and walk out on air thinking I got the better of the deal. Service is very friendly, the restrooms are spotless, I just don’t have a bad thing to say about Pint’s and plenty of good. Five stars!

For a pub, they have some pretty healthy options. The fish & chips is «New World» style in that it’s broiled, served with shoe string fries & a salad. No heavy batter or frying here. Mum appreciated it & thoroughly enjoyed her dish. Her only gripe was the plate was to narrow so she lost a couple items to the table. My comfort-food-seeking self was satiated by the bangers and mash. Three lovely sausages accompanied by mashed potatoes & onion gravy, with a little side salad. I opted for the vinaigrette, which appeared to be house made and quite delicious. The whole plate didn’t leave me feeling weighed down or gross from taking in a bunch of grease. It was a great balance of indulgence & fresh veg. Service was lovely. Prices are pretty spot on. The descriptions of their burgers sounded fantastic. Little surprised by their warning on the burgers, however, asking you not to order them well done. Something about it taking away from the quality of their meat & taking extra time. Of course it takes longer to cook meat more. That’s a given. I’m a well done burger person(too many nooks and crannies for organisms to hide… I want to make sure they’re out-a-there) so that steered me away… but I’ll return for bangers and mash any day of the week.
