If you are looking for a real barbershop where real men cut men’s hair for a reasonable price, this is your place. My wife and I are Visiting Denver on business for an extended period of time, this no nonsense barbershop is the best one I could find in town.
Be sure to make an online reservation and there is literally 0 wait time. Started my haircut right on time.
Don’t be fooled by the exterior appearance. These guys run a clean shop and keep their equipment clean.
The guys running the place are hilarious and great conversationalists.
Also, easy parking on the street.

Had been apprehensive since moving to the area looking for a good barber /​beard trim. Andy came recommended from a friend and man did he deliver. Easy going gent, easy to chat with and great attention to detail. Took his time to make sure everything was right. Supremely nice guy with a great talent for what he does. Definitely picked up a new repeat customer today.

My husband went in to get a hair cut. The back is significantly shorter than the sides and the top, and the line at the base of his neck is not a clean line. He told them he was planning on growing out his hair, and just wanted it cleaned up, they cut much more off than they should have… I could have done a much better job.

I know that all the guys at Piper’s will do a great job. But my last two experiences with Andy Sweet have been pretty fantastic! Andy is chill and easy to chat with so you’ll feel welcome and comfortable. He takes a little extra time to make sure everything is done right, which is not to say your haircut will take long, just that you’ll be happy you stopped in. On my recent visits he’s taken a little extra time to make sure my beard is looking good along with my sharp new haircut, even giving some advice to this novice beard grower. Which is not a big surprise considering his own epic beard. If Andy’s not available, don’t worry about booking the other guys either. This place is truly a modern take on the classic barber shop.

Both my son and I went in for the first time and got great cuts from Andy. It was easy to schedule the appointments online and the services were very reasonably priced. The shop is also far less presumptuous than some of the other barbershops in town, having instead a great neighborhood atmosphere. I will definitely be going back and recommending it to my friends!

This is the best barber I have ever been to. They are friendly, and prompt, and they always make me look good. By the way Sal, my hot date went very well.

This review is for Andy Sweet. Keeping it short and to the point, Andy is the best barber I’ve had in the past 20 years. He cut my hair a few weeks ago and it still looks good. That’s the tell-​tale sign of a good haircut. The barbershop itself is just what a guy needs and nothing more and I’m glad Andy stared cutting there.

I’m 34 years old. Up until yesterday, I have been happy with one haircut during my lifetime. I still remember it. I was 22 years old and living in Australia.
Yesterday, I got the second truly great haircut of my life. Sal did a phenomenal job cutting my hair and trimming my beard. I walked out happy with the way I looked and have been receiving compliments on my haircut literally all day long.
I can’t recommend these guys strongly enough. Great guys. Great atmosphere. Great haircut. Reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

These guys were great. They earned my return business with a good haircut. Not a beer, or the coolest music, or any other gimmicky thing… with a good haircut. For me, that’s what makes a barber. I would recommend how thorough and engaged they were.

2nd haircut with Sal. Excellent barber who really knows what he is doing. The level of service is of the highest quality – he truly earns the appropriately priced fee.
Will definitely continue to return to this awesome little shop. The conversation between other barbers and their patrons is hilarious and very enjoyable.
Way to go to the owner for bringing in an excellent addition to your awesome place!

Even though I live in San Francisco I still try and get my hair cut here as frequently as I’m back in Denver. Been going to Brandon for a while now and I am always pleased with the results. He is meticulous and focused in his work and clearly cares about leaving you satisfied. The atmosphere is one of an old school barbershop without any of the creepy weirdness of that genre, like porn mags and pinups lying around. I could not recommend the shop more thoroughly. Don’t forget, cash only.
