Great location.
Beer’s consistency is lacking ever since Bill Eye and Ashley Carter left. Sometimes the Weissbier is following it’s German ancestry, being mild with banana/​glove notes, other times it comes across more American-​style.
Love the Rye Wheat collaboration!

Good beers, great views of downtown and the Denver skyline. I had the kolsch fruity and crisp. Lots of people enjoying the patio seating and beautiful Saturday weather.

I am 100% Eastern European and it s Heaven for me. Weißbier reminds me all good days when I used to go to Austria for snowboarding and we were drinking Weiss in Innsbruck after shredding:) Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, beer in mugs!!!

I’ve been to Prost several times now, and it is an okay spot, but not one that I would seek out. I’ve had the Kolsch, Dunkel, and the Marzen, and while each is decent, none of them have wowed me. Prost is set up much like a German beer tent (I’ve been to Munich during Oktoberfest), but it lacks energy for me. I’ve never found the interior or the atmosphere exciting. I will say, that the staff has been lovely every time I go.

During Oktoberfest, this is definitely the place to be, as it’s probably the only (correct me if I’m wrong) Denver brewery that makes solely Germany beers. I can’t say they were all great but I highly enjoyed the Dunkel. All the beers looked like they were between $ 5 – 8. On a warm afternoon, it’s such a nice place to hang out. It’s shaded and has a nice view of the city. The patio and brewery are dog friendly (always appreciated). The parking situation could use a little help but it’s fine. I imagine we will be back quite a bit.

Nice brewery and taproom setup, good selection of games and patio seating to enjoy the end of summer days.
The beer is good, they just won a gold at GABF for their Weis.
Problem is the German centric menu as you would expect from Prost, is limiting as far as variety. They brew good examples of the classics but don’t stray too far outside the lines.
Also a little pricey for some of the varieties, keeping this brewery from 4stars. But it is by no means a bad brewery, just offers nothing to separate itself from the others in the area.

If you are fan of German beer repeat German beer this could be your heaven. They have a great patio with city views and a great brewery.
I wanted to fall in love with German beer but I’m Hop girl and a stout girl.

I like the location, but just don’t prefer the beer. It’s all really malty, German style beer, and I just prefer more hoppy style beers. The environment is fun and the service is average! Worth stopping in for a different style of beer than many Denver breweries

Really nice atmosphere, very laid back. I like how dog friendly they are. The service was very friendly and the selection of beers wasn’t overwhelming. Got the Weissbeir, and it was just what I wanted. Very light and smooth.
One thing that was a bummer was that my friends went to get pretzels, and they were literally on their last three. It was just about 7:00 on a Friday, so one would think that would be peak time and they would have plenty. I was thinking of getting one later, but when my friend told me they got the last ones I was sad to not have that option.
Also there was a live singer, which was cool, but all the tables next to him were practically uninhabitable because it was so loud that we would not have been able to hear each other. Wish the volume was a little lower, or he wasn’t so close to the tables.

Very cool looking brewery with wooden tables & a garage door that opens up to the patio. Limited beer selections but the porter was delicious.

Very cool place with great beer. Staff is friendly and has a wealth of beer knowledge. Live music when I was there and neat outdoor area! What more could you ask for?

Outstanding. I came here with a group of friends last weekend and was thrilled with their beer selection. They have wonderful, refreshing, light beers, perfect for a hot day. By the way, it was a very hot day. unfortunately the patio outside smelled like hot garbage. We opted to sit inside.
We were greeted promptly by a young brunette girl. She was very quick to grab us everything we asked for. A couple friends checked out the food truck outside, it had amazing grilled cheese’s. We stayed a while, trying various beers, all of which were good. Huge fan of this place, just wish that it didn’t smell like trash outside. Definitely coming back soon.

Come over to Prost on a sunny day to enjoy that front patio with a nice view of downtown and plenty of community tables to keep your group together. Be prepared to be swarmed by adorable puppies, sunshine rays, and fresh smells from the food truck. You’ll surely dabble in them all.
The beer is pretty darn good too! I tried the Hefe and Pils which paired perfectly with downtown views and cute puppies — those Aussie shepherds get me every time!
Swing over to Prost for at least 1! You’ll be back for more and the future (and so will I)

The patio at this place is fantastic, the service was attentive, and the German beers were great.

I really can’t say much for this place. I wasn’t there long and I am not the biggest beer drinker on Earth. But my friend was in town and needed to go to the breweries in town, and this showed up close to where we were at.
I did try all 6 beers available in a flight. Prices are beyond reasonable and the atmosphere was hopping. Not much of a selection, and that actually isn’t a bad thing. Very casual and open. The heat could’ve been set down a notch.
Seems like a great place to watch a game as well.

I’m not a huge german beer fan, but they do a great job with the german styles (very authentic served in there proper glassware). I had the Dunkel which is the only dark beer, and it was as good as other German brews I’ve had. The bartenders are super friendly and will offer advice on beer choices and the local area. This place is a pretty far walk from downtown, but worth a visit if you are into the German beer style as they do it well. Don’t expect chicken dances or polka music, but maybe they do during Oktoberfest or on special weekends?

I love the German Beers. they have on Tap. The Prices arent bad, and they honor the Home Brew card for a discount. Always a Food Truck/​Cart is on premises.
Very Friendly Bartenders. And when the owners are in, they are friendly and dont mind holding a conversation with you.
Its great hearing the history of the building, and watching the Game when its on. The other patrons are nice and friendly as well.

I float between a 3 and 4 star rating for Prost. If it were for the beer alone, it’d be 4 stars, but alas it’s more than that.
The Great:
+ Some authentic German beer styles.
+ 1L Maß is the way to go.
+ I really love their Pils.
The Average:
o Prices are a little steep.
o Food trucks. Some are good, some aren’t. Simply put, check to see who’s going to be there. The brats from Matt’s Snack Shack were underwhelming.
The Poor:
— Staff can be hit or miss. Lately they’ve been borderline rude.
Long story short:
Beer = 4.5 stars
Beer Selection = 3.5 stars
Price = 3 stars
Service = 2 stars
Food Options = 2 stars

Why yes– yes we have that.
I have been to Prost a few times over the last year– now I am finally getting around to posting a Unilocal review.
Outside: Prost has free parking out front with their gravel lot. Spacious Patio with stunning views of the downtown Denver skyline.
Inside: Large wooden common tables with bench seating in addition to a smallish L-​shaped Bar. Large Bavarian and German tapestry/​flags are draped from the ceiling making a visually festive atmosphere any time of year.
Beers: All the German Favorites. Kölsch, Dunkel, Pils, Weißbier, Doppel and Maibock.
All crafted with strict quality and pure ingredients.
**Also– Prost is currently pouring a TRUE OKTOBERFEST or Märzen more correctly. Unfortunately for the American beer drinker/​enthusiast Oktoberfest seems to be just a darker/​more caramelized Ale with a bitter aftertaste. Not so here in the Mile High City Danke to Prost! Their Märzen embraces the true style — «Our Märzenbier is orange in color, with a rich malt profile from the abundant use of Vienna and Munich malts.(ABV 5.8% 24 IBU’S)»
Live music and a varied selection of visiting Food Trucks make for the entertainment and cuisine.
