I’ve banked at PSCU since the early ’90’s and they’ve always been great. I’ve done home purchases and home equity line of credits. One time I had an emergency and had to wire money to California. They’ve never failed me. I particularly like the Colorado Blvd branch because of the personal attention I get by all the employees especially Abby who always remembers my name and always goes the extra mile.

I responded to a promotional offer to sign up for direct deposit and get a $ 100 prepaid bank card that the human resources at University of Colorado was giving out. The people at the branch offices (I ended up starting at this one and trying to get help at 4 more branches) are nice enough and very community-​oriented. However, when trying to collect my gift card I spend 6 weeks calling branches, calling the number on the promotion flyer, going in person and every time getting my question deferred by «it is someone else’s responsibility» answers. One person told me just to wait. The last time I went to this branch, they told me that I can no longer get this gift card because 90 days had lapsed, and of course that was not on the promotional flyer I had, nor had any one told me this up to this point. I gave the teller all my phone notes for 6 weeks of aggravating calls (note that hold times are rarely ever less than 10 minutes) and she said she would talk to her manager and call me, and of course no one ever called. Then I went to a different branch and withdrew all my savings because these exchanges illustrated to me how poor the customer service was in general. The people are nice and try to do their jobs I think but the structure and leadership clearly does not value following up. Now I am a happy Wells Fargo customer.

i use this branch because of the shared services. The people there are very friendly and there is seldom a wait in line. I like having paperless depoits.

Not the best branch of PSCU around. I go here when I am in the area and need to go to a bank but don’t have time to travel to another branch. I have had them refuse to deposit several checks over the years, for various reasons like illegible writing by those who wrote the check. But I have then taken those checks to other branches and had no trouble with them. They also have about the shortest hours of any PSCU branch. I have begun to think they are the training branch where they first assign new tellers for experience. Don’t mind a bank being careful with my money, but when I am depositing a check into my account and not withdrawing funds, they should trust me a bit more, even if they have to research the check before releasing the funds.
