I’ve had two bad experiences here, why I went back for the second is shame on me. First I had two fillings here that both needed to be replaced within one year. I was assured I would be «taken care of» since it had been such a short time frame. However, he billed my insurance anyway, and since you can’t bill for the same service on the same teeth twice in one year, he sent me the bill trying to hold me responsible for his shotty work. So I called and complained and so he finally agreed to cover the bill. I figured he forgot that I was replacing the fillings he had originally done. So I went back in for a deep root planing, but since my last visit I had new insurance from my work but it was still Delta Dental. I figured since the insurance was an issue the last time that I would ask before my appointment that they verify with them to make sure this specific service would be covered other than the expected copay of $ 75. The receptionist said she called and verified my insurance, so I agreed to go ahead and have the service performed. THEN… a bill came for $ 348 stating that my insurance was in fact not accepted by them so now I am personally liable for the bill. Naturally, I called my insurance company and they keep a record of verification calls, and stated that Dr. Pyne’s office never called! So I was lied to, and now I have a huge bill that could have been avoided. I guess its for the best, if his fillings couldn’t even last a year, then I’m better off going somewhere else.
