DONOTRENTFROMEDGEDTC!!! I rented a 1 bedroom apartment at Edge DTC for 12 months at about $ 1100/month, but it was nothing but trouble from the start. First, they offered me a parking spot near my building, but when I arrived they said it was already taken, so I had to settle for one about 3 times as far. Immediately after I moved in there were 2 giant wasps flying around in my apartment, which I had to exterminate myself. One of the reasons I moved in was because I order a lot online and they accepted deliveries, but then they stopped receiving all packages and I had to buy a UPS box. The automated thermostat and lights that were supposed to work with an app from my phone was a complete disaster and barely worked. Sometimes I would come home to find my place freezing. And I sent multiple requests to fix my deadbolt lock, but they never did. After my 12 months was up, I went month to month and they increased my rent to over $ 1400/month. After 2 months, they increased my rent again to over $ 1700/month. Management has been severely unavailable the entire time, never returns my calls, and generally was not very friendly. After a few weeks in my new place, I received a statement from Edge DTC saying I owe them over $ 1,000 due to failure to notice them of moving out. This is completely ridiculous, as I had given them multiple notices to vacate way in advance. DONOTRENTFROMEDGEDTC!!!

Initially… we loved it here, the staff was nice, the grounds weere kept up; however that is no longer the case, safety fence around the pool, not repaired after 4 months, The gym was closed for remodeling almost 6 months ago and has yest to reopen with little or no work being done on the«leasing office”/clubhouse since it’s doors were closed. Due tot the remodel the also no longer accept packages, and the security doors are no longer locked, or if they are are allowed to be propped open… not too secure. They added nice shiny new name plates and a new name for the complex… THEEDGE? the only edgy thing here is the overinflated prices for poorly built 1970’s construction… nothing new to see here, trust me… move along. Oh…what HAS been done? There is a new leasing staff which is loud on grounds when not showing a unit, a dog park was built, really very nice fencing… hmmm, large dogs are now allowed in apartments and very little done to ensure that they stay quiet. The people who leased prior to new leasing folks that have either partially remodled or unremodled units are seeing large increases in rent in order to be forced out so the remaining units can be updated(I would not have minded a little updating with the 1970’s appliances…) authorized parking stickers are not being used or enforced and parking after 4 in the afternoon is a joke unless you pay the $ 40 bucks a month for a covered-ish spot. And to add insult to injury… the requests put in for matinence are no longer being promtly attended to. …clearly, the management here really only cares about one thing, I ‘m thinking they must get bonus’s for low matinence costs. or something, maybe they just like being unpleasant.
