From reading the previous reviews I’m happy I won’t be looking for settlement here, however, I had two friends that bought from here and a relative. Although all haven’t openly complained about the place, I did have all of them move out shortly after. The scenery had always been my favorite. I’ve never minded walking into the neighborhood ever, in fact, this neighborhood is where I passed through to get to my old high school and work. I didn’t think that the page several complaints. It’s crazy. However, the apartments look very comfortable. I know because I’ve been in a few of them. Maybe visiting is the ideal thing, but moving in would have to wait a bit.

Do not move here unless you are willing to pay your through auto draft on your checking account. There is a service charge for paying online with a credit/​debit, there is a charge for paying with a money order/​cashiers check. You can pay with a money gram IF they have it uploaded but that’s not likely! I’ve struggled to give these people my money for 2 months. Not worth it.

It’s been 5 months so I posted my last review and while I was hopeful under new management things would change, they definitely have not. In fact, I think things have gotten even worse. Firstly, we still have not received a copy of our countersigned lease, which makes me very uncomfortable. I was told we would receive a copy after move in, and it’s been over 6 months and we have received nothing. The office has claimed they didn’t have my packages twice now, when it turns out they actually did. Getting mail at this place is a NIGHTMARE. The gym has become a playground for kids. Every single time I try to go in there, kids between the ages of 5 – 14 are in there playing on the equipment with no adult supervision whatsoever. Aside from the fact that they could get seriously injured, it’s a hassle for a tenant who actually wants to use the below average gym equipment. Last week there were children eating chicken wings in the gym and then throwing the bones on the ground and leaving their trash outside on the sidewalk. The pool has also become a playground with tons of children running around without supervision. The pool has become a place where everyone, including those who aren’t tenants, within a 5 mile radius flock to. This past weekend, my roommate had his car broken into and many items were stolen from his car. When we called the office to see what the protocol was in this situation, their response was «we have nothing to do with this, we hold no liability.» WOW! There are no safety cameras in the parking lots and there is no safety at the complex at all. People who don’t live there walk through the property at all hours of the night, which is very unnerving. This place is awful and has been a nightmare from the beginning. I have never written Unilocal reviews before, but that’s how bad this place is and I really feel strongly about letting other people know so they don’t make the same mistake i did by moving in. I can not wait until my lease is up so I can get out of there.

So apparently back in February (’14), this place went under new management. According to the office staff, they notified all residents early Feb when the change took place. If that was the case, we, including our surrounding neighbors, would have known about the change. Nobody knew. So we talked to them about our flooding issues. It has now been 5 months since they took over, and we have still have the same flooding issues. We have been using the sump pump and they built a drainage system. Kudos for trying, but we told you that wasn’t going to work. The drainage system runs uphill… and the laws of physics are still applied; hence the water still pooling onto our patio. We’ve asked time and time again for them to build a wall or a lip to prevent the water from entering the patio, flooding our apartment. They refused our request because they said it wouldn’t be uniform with the surrounding apartments and in turn, would have to build one for everyone else that doesn’t have one. Instead, they said they were going to fix the drain and take out the tree in the area. To help compensate for the extra electricity we’ve had to use from running multiple loads of towels to reuse to try and stop more water from coming in, they said they will give us some sort of credit towards our electricity bill. That’s extremely kind, don’t get me wrong, but that doesn’t fix the fact that our walls are now soggy/​bloated and the padding having to be replaced nearly every other month! I fear that my family is living with mold inside the walls. My children are not safe living with this. It’s EXTREMELY inconvenient having to listen to loud dehumidifiers and loud fans all day and night. We do have to sleep to be able go to work/​school and is extremely difficult to do so. Once the tree is removed and the drainage system is fix, if we still have the same results, I think a couple businesses are going to hear about what we have been going through for the last nearly 15 months. I appreciate that they’re attempting to fix this, but one, it’s not nearly quick enough and two, they should really listen to what their tenants say, because we live here and know how the water flows around us.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! The staff never return phone calls when you are having problems. Here is what our «move in ready» apartment had for us when we moved in.
1. Dust and hair along the railings and all over the edges of the carpet, stains as well in the carpet (even though they claimed had been cleaned)
2. Poop and dried pee all over both bathroom toilets and on the floor.
3. The garbage disposal did not work
4. The oven did not work
5. The dishwasher did not work
6. The blinds were all broken
7. The front door was broken
8. The entry floor had holes all over
9. The doors did not shut
10. The outlets could not hold a plug in them
11. The garbage disposal after being fixed shorted
12. My partner had to do all the outlets because they did not have time for us
13. Cigarettes all over the storage closets and stuck in the decks
14. The decks gave us splinters because they never took care of them
15. Paint drips all over
16. Light fixtures were broken
17. The garage had and still has hornets
18. It took over a week for management to get someine in our apartment
19. The upstairs bedroom window leaks and nothing has been done
20. Extremely loud neighbors and very rude people
21. Dirty property, never cleaned
22. The gym AC doesnt work and no fan, gets very hot
23. Took them over a week to change our garage code for us
24. All of our screens have holes in them, and still need replaced or cleaned
25. The sliding glass doors dont slide, takes a lot of force
26. Garbage and trash in the gutters, which you can see from the balconies
27. Kids play in the streets kicking balls at your vehicles
28. Tracy one of the leasing agents– doesnt know what she is doing, never returns calls, and doesnt get your walk through to the right people.
29. All of our sinks the water is hooked up wrong
30. All of the counters need to be resurfaced and they wont, they are an off yellow on a gray surface.
31. Short staffed takes over 30 minutes to talk to anyone, no one ever answers the phone
32. Trash stuck in the bushes by our front door.
33. Hole in bedroom wall that we had to replace because blowing in cold air.
34. Still cannot pay online with the portal because no one will set us up correctly to access it! It has been a month! We are stuck for a year. do not make that mistake.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! HORRIBLE PLACE! GO TO a different community, the residents do not take care of their stuff, very trashy!
RUN if you have already looked– their background screening company is a joke too, you have to do all the work for them!

We are moving from California to Denver and came out to look at apartments. We viewed the 2bedroom 2 bath apartment and loved it. Very spacious and had lots of storage. The grounds looked clean and well kept.
The people walking around was another story. They rent to section 8/​low income. That does bring a certain crowd and we didn’t really want to live in that.
We looked at other apartments in the area and ended up coming back here because the pricing was decent for what we wanted. We put our deposit down and was ready to sign the lease when we found out the apartments are infested with roaches and that the neighborhood isn’t the best. (we were able to confirm this with someone who works there)
We asked for our deposit back and they said NO even though it had only been 1 day. Fine keep your stupid $ 100 dollars & your nasty ass roaches. We won’t be renting here.
