I have lived 4 blocks from Regis Pizza since they opened. They were a hit. I would call them up every other Friday and enjoyed the pizzas and calzones. Unfortunately, those days are gone as the reviews from August 2014 are spot on with the poor service and poor quality pizza. With the change in ownership, to the former owners cousin I ordered the worst meatball sub in history. Undercooked, cold and they tried to stuff the sub with ice berg lettuce and carrot strings of all things. My dog ended up finishing it off. The new pizzas are bland and seem to be bloated with dough at the crust so there’s like 3 bites of cheese sauce and meat. Stay away!

Hit or miss ! Sometimes is amazing and sometimes it’s meh. But it might be a good idea to remind your employees to wash their hands after they handle money and then make my food…

I’m sorry Regis pizza but your pizza is horrible. The crust is like a loaf of bread first of all, it had no flavor at all and way to thick. And the dough underneath the toppings was also chewy and doughy. Not how a pizza should be at all. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. Find somewhere else.

The ownership has changed and so has the quality. We no longer consider Regis Pizza as an option for neighborhood pizza nights.

Zero stars really, ZERO Wow! There is no accountability here whatsoever. Tried and tried and tried to give this place money and guess what? No takers. Never could get through on the line, no one ever picked up the phone. We drove over to order a pie in person during posted«open» hours but no luck, it was CLOSED! Just now SOMEone did pick up and just put the phone down and started talking to the other workers only to tell them not to stretch the dough too much«cause then we have to put more SHIT into it.» Employee’s response, «oh we know what we do round here.» glad they know cause now I know too. This place is going out of business soon. Heads up owner, go check on your place and monitor your employees. You are loosing $$$$ cause I don’t know anyone who pays and eats shit.

I’ve been here at least ten different times because its close and convenient. Really inconsistent quality, size, and service. Sometimes the slices are really small, under or overcooked, or just overall soggy. Customer service is okay, not great. Sometimes the register guy is impatient and rude. When its good, its great. But its only been great three times of the ten.

Change of ownership led to noticeable decrease in quality. I teach at the university right across the street and when I order pizzas I usually order 4 – 5 at a time for student events. Last night I asked some students if they wanted pizza and they all said ‘yes, but please don’t order from Regis Pizza.’ Its a bad sign when hungry students are willing to wait longer for pizza to be delivered from a rival pizza joint a few miles away. Pizzas are doughy, often undercooked, and sparsely topped. They had best step up their game or they are gonna be gone.

Awesome New York Style pizza! We love the pizza but my favorite is the Calzones, can’t wait till I try the new cream cheese calzone. I have a daughter that is super picky/particular in what she eats but never have an issue when I say we are having Regis Pizza, she actually gets super exited. If you haven’t tried the wings, mmmmh u should they are meaty n full of flavor.

We used to LOVE Regis Pizza for the service, prices, and pizza slices, but have noticed some changes for the worse recently. Our order tonight was very disappointing. We ordered slices and they both contained a tiny sprinkling of cheese(see photo). The garlic bread was literally hard pizza crust with some garlic sprinkled on top. The dinner salad was a very small container of iceberg lettuce, 2 short slices of onion, and a teaspoon of cheese(see photo). Really? The website is obviously outdated, saying the salad included«lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber, black olives, and cheese.» The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because of the price. However, we won’t be ordering from here again. There are plenty of decent pizza places around to waste our money here.

Regis pizza is under new ownership and things aren’t the same. Service is slower. Phones don’t get answered all the time. Dough was undercooked. They did tile the floor however.

Not bad, delicious crust, typically a New York pie not the greatest but it can be. I just get the typical pepperoni pizza, and it’s satisfying. Reminds of the mall pizza from the Villa Italia mall.

Great little neighborhood spot in an otherwise trendy restaurant dominated area. It’s solid, traditional pizza. Fast, delicious, and always answers their phone(cough cough other Tennyson pizzeria…). When we entertain larger groups, Regis is usually our go to!

All I can say is Awesome!!! Pizza and wings was on the agenda tonight. Everything was cooked well and the wings had a kick to the sauce that smothered them drumsticks. The service was excellent and the owner was very personal making sure I had a good time with my family. I was able to watch the World Series and enjoy some good food and people. If your in the area you have to stop by

I have been going to Regis Pizza for years and have loved it! The Primavera canzone is fantastic. But unfortunately the last few times we’ve ordered from them I’ve been disappointed. We do order on Friday nights usually so I expect a longer wait time, but they will quote you 45 minutes and show up an hour later and then blame it on being busy. Very frustrating just tell the time up front! Then today the same thing happened but when the delivery person showed at my door she only had 1 of the 2 calzones I ordered. She did apologize and took my contact info and told me someone would contact me. To my shock I got a call 15 minutes later from the owner who more than made it right. I do want to continue going here I love the food and the people are friendly. I hope they can get their act back together!

A tiny hole in the wall pizza joint next to Regis University. It felt cozy and the guy at the register(perhaps the owner?) was very happy and friendly. The pizza we received was a very doughy kind, which is what I like. They cooked the veggie toppings under the cheese, and put the pepperoni on top. Perhaps to keep it all together? I also thought it could have used another 5 minutes in the oven. I love that they also serve ice cream, because when don’t you need ice cream? They also had a collection of unique bottled sodas to choose from like black cherry. We called ahead around 11:30 knowing lunch is always a busy time. We ordered a pizza, a calzone, and 2 side salads. Nothing too crazy. We arrived 30minutes later to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. OK we’ll get drinks and wait, a pizza takes 10 minutes to bake, no problem. 45 minutes later our food was ready. I really felt this was unacceptable for a total of 1h15m since the order was placed. We were incredibly late back to the office. If there is a «slow time» I would come back here again, but I will not make the drive at lunch anymore, can’t risk it for mediocre pizza. They deliver for a $ 12 minimum.

I’m from out of town but visit my customers in Denver frequently. They love food and I love to bring it to them. A few years ago I found Regis and they loved the pizza, but my most recent experience was TERRIBLE and I will never go back, unfortunately. I called in the order for 4XL pizzas the night before. They said they would be ready between 11:20 — 11:30. It was fine. I arrived at 11:20 and they called me while I was in the parking lot. I added a 2 liter soda and asked for plates. They said, how many? I didn’t know so I was like, 15? Okay. Well, I just looked at my bill and they charged me $ 3 for the plates ??? Anyway, I didn’t know it until way later but I’m pissed. On to the pizzas. My customer was 7 minutes away(GPS) and I didn’t stop or anything. We opened the pizzas about 15 minutes after I picked them up and they were ICECOLD. I don’t know. Weird. Also, the toppings were practically nonexistent and they completely missed the toppings on one of the 4 pizzas(missing pepperoni — I had half pepp and half extra cheese.) It’s embarrassing in front of customers, but luckily they are nice. It was funny, the one customer was like, we have all cheese pizzas(they like meat.) I said no, see the piece of bacon there and we got the magnifying glass out! The REALLY bad part of the experience was when I just calllled to complain. They could not have cared less!!! Geez. They told me the pizzas weren’t cold(was he there?) and that the plate thing was«unfortunate.» NOAPOLOGYWHATSOEVER. I mean it was only $ 3 and a hefty tip and a large order when they were empty, but still… It’s just bad business and I will never go back. Too bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional and the pizza really wasn’t that good.

Oh Regis Pizza… where do I start? I really like this place — the food is great, the staff is awesome, and the prices are good. The pizza is comparable to what I’ve had on the east coast and definitely has a very special spot in my stomach. I usually order a slice with pineapple and spinach(they have lots of toppings to choose from) and on occasion I’ll get some of the tasty gelato. The slices are BIG and I’m usually not a fan of grease but for some reason I love the slight greasiness of RP pizzas. Overall, the food is great but it’s the service that really stands out to me. It’s owned and operated by locals and they are some of the friendliest restaurant staff I’ve ever met. TIP: If you don’t have time to wait or are on a busy lunch hour, call your order in ahead of time and let them know your eta. They’ll happily get your order ready by the time you come and you can avoid the possible wait that some reviewers have mentioned.
