Now I do use this place almost daily so keep that in mind. I know what I’m talking about.
Michael is a really hard working guy who smiles and tries hard, but he is slow as a cashier and easily confused or overwhelmed. When he is by himself the line will be long — so budget 5 extra minutes to check out «just in case».
His manager, this hispanic guy, is a total slacker with attitude. He sees Michael struggling almost every day and hardly ever comes up to help him with a long line.
I also asked him once about an item I liked that was always out and he took great pleasure in telling me he was out and WOULD NOT reorder it for me. Too bad this guy has a job in a tough economy instead of someone who deserves it.
Other than that the place is clean and fairly well stocked. If you go be sure and tell the manager how much of a slacker he is… it’s good for him.

Hell Yeah a convenience store on the ground floor of the building I am in!
Dam, they are about 20 percent higher then 7 – 11, oh the price for convenience.
They run specials every month and usually have some energy drink 3 for $ 5 come here about 3pm to witness the migration of high strung office workers to the coolers to get there energy fix! This in itself is worth the cost off admission, .25 in the parking meter outside!
Homeboy at the counter in the afternoons I have to give some big ups to! He makes me feel like the funniest Mo-​Fo in the world because he laughs at everything I say or do. I think its the cheeba after work or maybe I am just that dam funny!
Added a star because they also have Jet magazine right at the front counter so I can check out the beauty of the week! Yes, homeboy at the counter laughs at me every time I take a peek!
