This place is a nice little addition to the growing Northfield area. Decide to take the family here for a Sunday lunch. The menu is setup in a cool way basically everything is between 10 to.12 dollars. and the portions were good size. Our meal was made fresh and staff was very helpful and nice. I had the flatbed sandwich which was well done a little greasy but good… Enjoyed will definitely try again for happy hour.

Amongst the best pasta in Denver. it is slightly pricey but worth every buck once it is in your mouth. You can make pretty much any pasta you want, from straight buttery noodles to penne with bacon and vodka sauce. You can mix and match and get your pasta your way for sure. Their calamari is also excellent which is my goto side, but there are a good selection of sides too. If your craving pasta, Salati is sure to satisfy.

We came in and realized we are going to try something new and immediately felt the excitement of trying a different, Italian dish. The restaurant is really fancy and very romantic for a restaurant that is not as wildly noticeable from the outside. We saw large brick walls that looked like an ancient pavement and thought the dining hall was beautiful; almost like traveling back in time. We sat by the patio outside while still sitting inside and had a lovely server by the name of Kristina(or Christina) help us out and she was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fair of what to expect of each dish. We ended up eating the plate of «Meatballs,» and the«Nutella Piadina.» The main dish of meatballs was $ 10 and it came in a delicious little pot with a large portion of red sauce, melted white Parmesan cheese and vegetables. The dish was sure hot and delicious. The only main thing was I expected more meatballs and it only came with three. Three different flavors of: Sausage, Pork and Salami. It was that good. I wanted more the dish was kind off too small. The Nutella Piadina was awesome and very chocolatey. Thanks to the Nutella of course!!!

Very good! Unique, fun concept, GREAT prices! This place has very good food, and for the style of the design, you’d think it would be more costly! But, it is not. They have this yummy flatbread that can be piled up with all your favorite toppings, and salads made-to-order, along with other selections. Would like to go back for soup, as they were out when we were there, but other than that, we all enjoyed it! Very good, very fast, perfect for hanging out for a while, enjoying a beer or glass of wine, or a quick bite before a movie.

Very solid meh. Happened to stop by during lunch hours which is a fast casual concept. You pick your type(calzone, bowl, salad), protein, sauce and toppings. My noodles were undercooked. The Vodka sauce was just OK — and the protein offerings meager. Also ordered the crispy brussels that were quite tasty(saved the meal honestly) and the curly fries, which were BARELY curley and more like pub style chips. These were also pretty good. Pricing wasn’t bad, but I expected a little more. I would have preferred a sit down option. Italian as fast casual is very tricky and can border into Sbarro levels of quality if you’re not careful.

The combinations you can build are rediculs. I love All of the Signature Dishes, but having the ability to build my own is so Awesome! The«Small Plates» aren’t so small, in fact they are made to share! Kind of like an appetizer, but large enough to be a meal on their own. Depending on how hungry you are though.

Amazing food. I had never had anything like it, and I loved it. I am going back as soon as I can. The service was good too. The décor is nice too.

A small group of us tried Salati on a Thursday evening for dinner and drinks before heading over to the Improv to see some comedy. This place is really pretty good for a number of reasons: 1. Very friendly and professional staff 2. Live music! Ok, it was just one dude and his guitar, but he was really pretty good. 3. A pretty decent happy hour with a full bar and enough options on draft to satisfy most tastes. 4. A variety of food choices from small plates to dinner sized portions. Not a bad spot for a pre-movie or comedy show meal.

Met a friend here for lunch with my 5 year old twins. I had the standard angel hair pasta with sausage. They weren’t stingy with the sausage and it was crumbled in little bits throughout the pasta, which I loved. One of my kids had the spaghetti with meatballs and the other had the cheese pizza. Their entrees arrived before ours, which was thoughtful, but I was snacking on theirs because it looked and tasted great. I would definitely eat hear again the next time I’m in the Northfield area. Great atmosphere as well.

We will be dining here often. Fresh ingrediants from CO, cooked to perfection. Locally owned. NOT a chain! We had the Barbajuan fried ravioli to start off with. Highly recommend. I had the Chicken Milano which perfect. My husband had the meat lovers Piadini which he moaned groaned all the way through. That means he loved it.

We had some dinner here the day that Star Wars 7 came out. The pasta is made to your specifications if you want, and that is good or bad depending on how weird you want to get. The best part of my meal here was the«Italian Margarita» which is a few parts tequila, a few parts lemon stuff, and pistachio! It was surprising that the drink was so good. I would thoroughly recommend this place if you’re going to the movies and are a lot hungry.

8:45 on a Friday, closed. Unilocal wants me to write more. But there isn’t much else to say except that they should probably update their hours if they are going to close that early.

This isn’t a fancy pants Italian place, but a perfect place to become a neighborhood family favorite. We are so very happy to have them in the neighborhood and aim to visit at least weekly! For dinner I would recommend Brussel Sprouts and the Mac & Cheese, but all of their small plates are delicious.

Great experience over all. Lovely service. My husband really liked his penne with a mix of spicy and regular marinara, Italian sausage, peppers, onions, and cheese. I got the penne with the white sauce, mushrooms, and winter veggie medley(red and yellow squash and brussel sprouts). The medley looked weird — almost like meat, but tasted good. I asked for the romano cheese, but it ended up tasting and looking much more like feta(which I don’t care for). I should have done the parmesan, I guess. My other two mix-ins I got on the side — an arugula/spinach mix and tomatoes. I also got two dressings — a caesar-like kind that was good, and a homemade ranch that was AMAZING. I seriously would have been better off with the salad rather than the pasta. I initially ordered the roasted brussel sprouts — actually one of the reasons I wanted to go there(I LOVE brussel sprouts)… But, they had a super busy day and were out!(Although we didn’t find out until the pasta came out — they should have told us sooner.). I tried ordering the roasted corn instead, but they were out of that, too! It is great that their business is picking up, though. They make everything from scratch with fresh ingredients, so it’s easy to run out of things when there is a huge rush. So, even though it sucked not to be able to have brussel sprouts or corn, it was awesome how they handled it. We ended up being given some free minestrone soup that had a lot of good vegetables in it. Also, the chef came out personally to apologize to us and ask if he could get us anything else. I ended up asking for more spinach/arugula and tomatoes to go with that delicious dressing, and he gave me that, plus some cucumbers and red onions! …my own little wonderful salad! All the staff were super nice and accommodating — and they were having fun singing along to the Jackson 5 and other oldies. A few side notes — the corn syrup-free soda is interesting. It’s good, but you may need to stay on the server to give you refills. I had to ask a lot of questions before I really understood what it was, as well. And, one of the toilet handles was broken… I had to lift the back lid to flush it. I told a staff member and hope they’ll fix it soon. On the whole, a good meal with great service. I would come back next time I’m in Denver!

Went last night for dinner, hearing good things in the neighborhood about the place. A little confusing when you walk in, as there is a soda fountain right there — thought maybe it was a fast casual spot and we would need to go stand in line, but the manager took care of us. They were fairly busy but we were seated right away. Food was great, if the menu was a little confusing to navigate. Staff was very friendly in explaining it though. Got the roasted ½ chicken special and it was great. Risotto balls were very tasty, as well as the sweet potato tots. Saw about 9 things on the menu I wanted to try, so will definitely be back. Only complaint was the service. Was a bit slow — took a while to get our check and then to get it picked up. All the while staring at dirty plates. Pre bus people! :)

Good idea bad delivery. Slow service. Food had rubbery texture like it sat under heat lamps for hours. We got a chicken pasta dish with rubber chicken and cold hard crusty pasta on top and the meatballs that were unnecessarily spicy. Young staff set hot plates(not hot food, remember it sat under heat lamps) in front of my 11 month old along with plates and utensils. Yes the area in front of my baby was clear for a reason. Forgot our soup. Wanted to love this place so perhaps we will try in a few years.

Stopped in when QDoba was ‘out-the-door’ busy. I was wildly impressed. Great job guys. I decided on a flat bread sandwich melt, which is one of three other options available, including pasta and salad. The set up very much like a QDoba or Chipolte where you choose the ‘format’, choose a protein, and then the toppings/mix-ins. What I had tasted very fresh and homemade. A tad on the spendy side but otherwise enjoyable and original. I’ll be back.

We came here for a dinner. We were one of only 4 other tables dining here. The service was friendly, but incomprehensibly slow. Our entire dining experience took 1 ½ hours which was far too long! The menu was confusing, but we navigated it with the help of our server by asking some clarifying questions. We ordered a gluten-free pasta dish and a build-your-own sandwich(piatta). On the positive side, they have gluten-free options here which is great for me. The gluten-free pasta itself was cooked well but overall, the food was very average… to a little below average. I can’t decide. The biggest disappointment was the fact that my order was delivered wrong. They graciously took it back and remade it, but I had to wait 15 – 20 minutes for it to arrive and my partner had finished eating his meal by then. We ended up spending dinner watching each other eat and very ready to leave. In my opinion, they should have offered my boyfriend a free dessert so that we could have at least eaten together… either that or they should have comped my meal for having to wait so long. The experience left a bad taste in our mouth.
