Great food but they really need Coke and Fanta. Who wants Pepsi with Mexican food. That’s right, no one!

I recently placed an order for 20+ breakfast burritos for a morning teacher meeting at my church, and boy did they impress. The ordering process was seamless as they had a separate register for only to-go orders. On the morning I ordered them there were potatoes, egg, chorizo, cheese, and of course their famous green chile! Just a warning, I did order them with half/half spicy, and they were pretty spicy even for the Korean palate. I will be back!

Love these breakfast burritos! It can be a line, and they can sell out… but it’s so worth it.

Breakfast burritos are their special, and so delicious and cheap!!! They stop making burritos at 11 am, so if you’re a late riser, you are stuck with choosing the left overs. The lines are long but worth the wait! I’ve also had the huevos rancheros and they are amazing as well. This is a must go if you love yummy, cheap, delicious, and spicy burritos.

Hot green chili is actually hot! Deluxe steak and bean burrito is my favorite. I could eat it everyday

Uhh yum! Love this location and food! The staff here are great! Food is decent priced and large quantity! Always consistent and the exact taste I’m craving! I use to live in the boonies near the Brush, CO location and that place hooked me to Santiago’s! The only downside to this spot is it can get cramped! Not much space for waiting on take out.

Holy long lines!!! This was not my first Santiago’s rodeo. Little did I know this location is muy popular and lines are out of the door. My love and I just got back into town from being away for Thanksgiving, and decided we needed to grab a breakfast burrito before heading home. Since this location is close to home, it was the spot to go. Apparently it was for everyone else too! Food came out fast though. We got 3 breakfast burritos and were out of the door within 5 minutes of ordering. It did take about 10 min to get to the counter though. I was sad when I got home to discover that these burritos are kind of tiny and not as large as I’ve had from another Santiago’s. They were just a tad larger than a snack wrap… On the flavor side, the hot chile is HOT. They don’t mess around. Mouth.on.fire.

Father-Son Green Chili Tour Stop #2. Excellent green chili, nice and spicy with several levels of heat from which to choose. Bilingual, friendly service and clearly a locals’ favorite lunch stop. Get here early if you want a booth or table, or grab a standup spot that encircle the limited seating area. The only thing more limited than the seating is the parking!

I have been eating Santiago’s since 1994 when I discovered the first one in Brighton. I have been hooked on this place for two decades and when I moved to California in 2005 my Santiago’s obsession has not ceased. I have been away for over ten years but I will tell you every time I am in Colorado I overdose on burritos, enchiladas, chicken tacos… And then I go to Safeway or Walmart and buy as many frozen ½ and ½ chili as my cooler will hold. I take them home and threaten everyone with their life if they touch my green chili. With that said, I know one of the original owners Ms Carmen and I still love this place soooooo much. There are many many locations now in the Denver metro area and some are definitely better then others but my favorite ones are Brighton, South Federal, Sheridan and the one up I-25 off like around 84th Ave. Try it and you will be hooked. Yum yum yum can’t wait to come back.

Good place to go if you need a super quick bite. I recommend ordering to go, don’t plan to sit down. The wait times are quick. My friend and I just got back from the gym in the morning and we got 6 burritos for about 9 bucks. These things were really good, but we have simple taste buds when we’re gym hungry. Gymgry. Small limited parking area, quick and to the point staff that are trying to get you out of there as quickly as you want to leave. I recommend it!

It’s my first time being here… it fault I didn’t see the tiny sign above the register indicating it was to-go orders only. After we ordered I had stated it was a for here. You would have thought I trying to flippin start a riot. Everyone lost their minds, started obviously talking about us in Spanish and then everyone asked us multiple times«for here?» «For here?» I told her that she could put them in to-go and we would just eat at a table… so we sat down. Our food came quickly, and looked good, but we weren’t given utensils, when I asked it seemed like I was bothering the lady. Let just say if it’s that much of a problem I’ll take my business somewhere else, since colorado is filled with Mexican food restaurants. Oh BTW I left a tip for shitty service.

My friend and I came here for dinner. I must say you can’t beat Santiago’s in terms of price and quality. My friend’s enchiladas were okay. The guacamole was a bit odd and seemed almost too green. It tasted okay but not great. My smothered chicken burrito was tasty and flavorful, but nothing too special. I’ll definitely stop by again for more burritos, but I won’t be going out of my way.

This is probably one of the more authentic, and my favorite, Mexican restaurants in the Denver area. Great fast service, everyone is always so friendly, and it seems like all the employees are family members, giving off a really homie vibe! I am obsessed with how great their green chili is! It’s so good, that I normally buy a pint of it just to have as a topping for my meals at home and occasionally like to take baths in it. Ok ok, that last bit was a stretch but it is really great! More specifically, for all my spicy food lovers, the chili combines good flavor with a bursting spiciness that makes you sweat like you just got out of a sauna! One of the spiciest options in town but luckily for all my softies out their they also offer a mild and medium option to go with my preferred choice of HOTTT! I focus on the chili because, although all The ingredients in entrees are fresh and delicious, every dish is topped off with your choice of chili hotness that is always the all-star of any entrée you order. That being said, other than the basic burritos, tacos, etc.(which are all great), the best dish offered is the Indian Taco. The Indian Taco is a twist on the traditional taco, except rather than all the ingredients on the inside, the tortilla is deep fried and laid flat on your plate with all the yummy ingredients piled on top! Highly recommend this spot if you haven’t tried it and if you can’t make it to this specific location, there’s a ton of locations all around Denver!

Colorado comfort right here, and for less than $ 5. Weird parking lot, typically a line(but it moves quickly), and you’re definitely taking your meal to go, but it’s always been good. The spice might be a big high for some, even the half and half, but your office crew will be hugging you all day after you bring in some burritos for the team. While the breakfast burritos are made in an incredible assembly line, nothing beats the Carnitas. Be careful how you eat it though, it’ll definitely leak.

So very good! Fresh, delicious and hearty every time. There’s a reason there’s a line of cars into the lot and lines of people at the door. Don’t let that discourage you, as service is fast. And the food is really worth it. (Parking is brutal, though, so carpool if you can.)

Food wise, I love the breakfast burritos from here. I’ve been lucky most visits here to be able to get in & out relatively quickly & without issue. I always just grab the burrito of the day and don’t make special orders. You can’t beat the price. I’m a fan of the ½ & ½ on the sauce for the breakfast burrito, and it is usually pretty spicy! This location can be like a gauntlet run. There typically is way more people here than they have room for parking and within the location. I was surprised the other day to actually see 2 customers sitting at a table in there since it is so tiny and usually packed with people on the quick breakfast pick up. The building is stand alone but sandwiched between two other business, also with limited parking, so as you are trying to swing in off a usually super busy Leetsdale, it can be a bit stressful, & though they indicate you can park on both sides of the building, it is pretty tight to get in and out and deal with Leetsdale. I’m not normally in here long enough to have much interaction with the staff, so overall it is OK, though sometimes I have encountered it to be off. I can imagine they get tired from being slammed busy since there is always a lot of people here. The other morning, I was lined up in the door way behind several people and one of the staffers yelled very exasperated & hateful to, «get out the door and shut it.» She yelled it as if she had been asking the same person the same thing for hours, which I am sure she had asked it several times, but I just got there & I had no idea. If it is that much of a problem for the employees to have customers lined up in the doorway bringing their business to you where the door has to be open then maybe you should put a sign up and stop yelling at your customers so rudely. On this particular trip, I made my usual regular order, but ended up waiting for almost 10 minutes, watching lots of other breakfast burritos flying out, which has NEVER happened. I ended up taking my receipt up & apparently they«lost» mine and another customers order and just shrugged it off as they handed it to me. Ratio wise, I have had more decent experiences than this one time and have never had an issue with the food, so hopefully they can keep it together a bit better on the customer service aspect.

The breakfast burritos here have crack in them. It’s the only reason I have to explain why I crave them so much and have to have them at least once a week. It doesn’t matter what time of morning you get there. Parking is crazy and the line is usually always out the door. Make it simple for yourself and other patrons — order, pay in cash, get your food and move along. There’s always that one guy that holds up the line and makes things complicated. Don’t be that guy! Breakfast burritos are $ 2 each and each day has a different meat. My fav is chorizo. The hot can be really frickin spicy so I get mine half and half.

Great place to have great food at a very inexpensive price. We had the smothered burritos with mild chili sauce, the menudo, guacamole salad, tacos al carbon and the carnitas platters. All were very good and were served quickly. Lots of folks coming in and out. Delicious!

I’m going to review 2 things for this place: FOOD4⁄5 stars– I have had the Indian taco(beef, bean) Hot green chile, stuffed soppapilla and the menudo from this place. Menudo was just a 3 out of 5, the broth was lacking. But the green chile is pretty good, sloppy, messy, and hot. If you have a craving for it and not on the other side of I25 for Chubbys its not a bad place to get fast food Green chile. STAFF: 2⁄5 stars– I’m in customer service, all day since 2002, I get it, but you HAVETOACKNOWLEDGE the people BUYINGANDPAYING and keeping the business running, i’m not asking for one of the Santiago’s staff to be my new bestie, but say hi, smile, say thank you, NONEED for the attitude if none was initiated. thats my only gripe, and to be honest its a big one, I have a hard time handing over money to a staff who seems irritated by customers presence.

Wow, just had one of their famous breakfast burritos at our weekly Friday breakfast at my work… and call me impressed. I have a decent tolerance for hot and spicy and the mild burrito I had made me wanting for something to calm down the heat. Don’t think I am a pansy, I met most of my co-workers in the break room in line for water! I haven’t yet been to the restaurants but definitely am intrigued now to check it out. Stay tuned and I will post a review after I visit!

$ 2.50 beef burritos? Damn… the prices here are cheaper than Mexico! We stopped by Santiago’s on a sunny Saturday afternoon while doing some shopping in the area. The food came out fast and tasted fresh and yummy. I especially loved my guacamole salad, though IMHO it should be called chips and guacamole since the dish did not look like a salad at all. In either case the guac was fresh and top-notch(I do consider myself a guacamole connoisseur).
