A few years ago I would’ve given this dispensary a 4th star because it was the closest option to people who live in Aurora… But now that the pot biz has entered the Aurora market, this place just doesn’t stack up. They are still medical-only, even though the majority of decent pot shops have expanded to include recreational. This alone costs a dispensary 1 Unilocal star in this day & age. Get with the times! Their selection is quite laughable, they only have a handful of strains on hand and some of them look rather questionable in quality. When I recently asked about their growing process and pesticide-related issues, I was given a shady answer of «we are in line with industry standards»… What does that mean? LOL. Budtenders at most dispensaries have nothing to hide and will tell you exactly what you want to know about their product. Satica is located in a very sketchy stripmall(literally) — they are located next to a popular strip club that is well known for the types of shady and pervy clientele it attracts. Watch your back.

This place really is nice and they have GREAT employees and selections. Every time I have visited Satica, I have left satisfied and feeling like I wasn’t overpaying or getting ripped off. The vibe from the place is laid back, professional and friendly. They really do have great selection of flower, hash, edibles, CBD, CBN, tinctures etc Ask to sign up for the daily email text and you will get specials sent right to your cell phone Thanks Satica for keeping it classy, even though you are next to PT’s strip club ;)

I’ve looked around at a few dispensaries in the area, but I always come back to Satica. Their facility is located in a kind of questionable shopping center, but once you’re inside the door it’s definitely a clean and well-kept secure establishment. The receptionist and staff at the counter recognize me whenever I come in, and they’re very friendly, and they always give me any discounts/deals they’ve got going on, even if I’m not aware of them when I come in. The staff is also knowledgeable about each strain they stock, and are able to make informed recommendations for treating whatever ails you. The selection is not the largest, but all of the product is properly flushed, and it’s cured properly, unlike a lot of the tourist trap dispensaries in the area. They usually have several strains of indica, sativa, and hybrids, and the selection is different every time I go, which is nice. They stock a modest array of edibles too, as well as hash oil/shatter and vape pens. They are currently a medical-only dispensary, but I hear tell that they’re planning to expand into the recreational market as well.
