I’ve come here several times in-person. Their ingredients are generally fresh, and the bread they use is fluffy. The staff are generally friendly, and the sandwiches are made quite promptly. Have these sandwiches made me cry and question reality? No, but they are generally good and available late at night.

Silver Mine Subs is a win every time! Their sandwiches are good, and the service is fast and friendly. Best of all, they deliver late into the night. I recommend the Silver City or Dodge City. Their chili is great for cold winter nights too!

Usually love silver mine subs(other locations), but my sandwich was not very good from this location and the delivery was slow. Bummer!

Came here with two friends — ordered 2 meatball subs and a stampede(buffalo chicken). Wasn’t particularly busy(only 3 or 4 customers in the whole place) and they had 5 people behind the counter. Despite that fact it took about 10 minutes for my friends to get their meatball subs and I didn’t get my sub until after they had finished eating. Add to that(1) the fact they couldn’t take my order because of a glitch with their software — any time a Stampede is ordered they said there’s a good chance the computer will freeze up like China is full-court-press DDoS’ing their system —(2) they got my order wrong and gave me a medium when I ordered a large and(3) the subs were HEAVY skimping on the meat, and for those reasons I AMOUT.

Throwback to the drunken late-night college days. I’ve been here a few times the past few years, always late night, always after a night out or an evening working. They are pretty good subs, much better than any other option in the local area. Are they the best you’ll ever have? No, quit thinking they will be. But for the price, the hours, and the food you get, they are up there.

They’ve been messed up the ingredients on my sandwich the last few times I’ve been and it’s making me sad because I’ve been a fan for years. They weren’t busy when it’s happened just inattentive to what I’m saying or unfamiliar with their own menu lately,

The sandwiches here are always consistent. Never terrible but never insanely delicious. However, there is NEVER enough people to staff the place. Every time I go there is only one person taking orders, answering phones and making the food. Please staff this place ASAP!!!

The food was terrible, the delivery was slow, the order was mixed up– I’m afraid there’s just not anything good to say about this place. I had the homestake, and it was not only not warm, it was downright cold. It was mushy and the cheese wasn’t even melted. My girlfriend could only eat half of her sandwich it was so bad. Overpriced for what you get as well. Just go to Subway, it might be just as bad, but at least it will be half the price.

Love Silver Mine! We live close by and it’s a great go-to spot! Plus they are open until 3am, which is wonderful! We love the Silver City — great Italian sub that I CRAVE! The French dip is awesome too. Pretty consistent quality. Nice people always working. Only drawback and reason it’s not five stars is that we drop a lot of cash for lunch for three of us. It’s not crazy expensive(and the food is delicious so I shouldn’t complain), but I’m always looking for a coupon so it’s more affordable.

This has been my favorite Lunch-Sammich-Spot for awhile, now. I’d go so far as to name their«Georgetown» sub the Official Sandwich of Me. It has a perfect blend of turkey, bacon and guacamole. At a decent price, too. I’d recommend trying out all of their specialty subs(most named after Colorado towns). I don’t get people who walk into any sandwich joint and ignore the menu(instead saying: «umm…can I get a ham and cheese. with some lettuce…»). You’re doing yourself a disservice by doing so, as Silver Mine’s specialty subs are all delicious. I definitely think all their sandwiches taste better on their wheat bread. Their white bread is okay, but unless you have serious reservations, go with the wheat. Other bonus about this location: they have some«Reserved for Silver Mine Subs» parking spots, behind the building(due east, in the bank parking lot). Considering this place is next-door to Trader Joe’s and right off of Colorado Blvd, I’m thankful that I can always find parking whenever I go here. On warmer days, it’s a perfect bike destination, as it’s right off of an official Denver bike route. Plenty of places to lock-up your bike, too.

Might be the worst sub I’ve ever had. I got the Homesteak and the meat was luke-warm, the onions were almost raw and the bread wasn’t toasted at all. The only reason I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 is because the individuals working here were really nice.

We waited over an hour for our delivery. This has happened more than once. If you’re looking for a decently fast sub delivery, this is NOT the place.

Really good food! Always fresh, good quality. They are super nice and the delivery is quick and accurate. Also love that they’re open till 3 am, even though the latest I’ve ordered is 11pm!

First time in. Nice employees, great tasting sub, and 2 lottery-like scratchers with one sandwich :) Minus one star for parking, but that’s really to be blamed on some terrible planning on Trader Joe’s part. If I’m in the area again, would definitely stop by.

I love the food but the delivery service is slow and disappointing. I’ve never been to this location but have ordered from it many times. If you’re just ordering for one or two people expect to wait about an hour. If you’re ordering for a large group, expect to wait about an hour longer than the stated delivery time frame.

Decent. Better quality than Subway for sure. Parking sucks all along this part of Colorado Blvd and this place is no exception. Tiny, overcrowded lot for too many businesses. Restrooms for business were out in the mall lobby but were clean and rather roomy. Anyway, food was pretty good — nothing to drop dead over. Staff was okay. I wouldn’t make a special trip back here but perhaps after a day of shopping at the new TJ’s nearby I would stop in.

Holy crap. Won’t give a time estimate for delivery. When I called to place an order i was told that we were the only order and that it would be here soon. An hour later, we finally got our food. And it was cold. No apology from the driver. Just bad. No wonder their other locations have closed. My boyfriend was late to work because of the wait. Put us in a bad mood.

My boyfriend and I ate there today. I had a veggie sub, he had ham… and now he has FOODPOISONING! It was the only thing he ate differently than me today, and I’m fine. Also, even if his body wasn’t projecting everything out of it, I’d still say this place sucked. The cashier was kind of rude and the food sucked. The bread was especially terrible.

Leave the douchey-ness at Cheeba Hut and come here for some great subs which don’t insist upon themselves! I was driving to einstein’s on Colorado Blvd and noticed my old friend Silver Mine out of the corner of my eye. I immediately cut across three lanes of traffic and was honked at — all for the sake of my belly. Long ago, Silver Mine was my go-to spot for late-night munchies, and to this day I can’t get enough of there tasty subs and awesome chilli. I am surprised to see so many negative reviews for Silver Mine, as I have always found the service to be super-friendly, and the subs to be packed with meat. I have also never had an issue with delivery, and I have never felt inclined to complain about the delivery time. I mean, come on, Denver on a friday night must be hell to contend with for these delivery guys! Anyway, I am always happy when I can make it to this sub shop, and I would have to say between this place an! d fatjacks, I am now a sub fan!

Being of my chosen profession, I am often awake while others are grabbing some decent well deserved shut-eye. And while most of the places in and around the hospitals in town tend to shut it down earlier in the evening, SMS does not… they dare stare sleep deprivation in the face and give it a big old middle finger… all in the name of being able to cater to the late night worker/party person. And I am grateful! They have always delivered to the clinic very quickly. The guys who deliver at Oh-dark-thirty in the morning are cheerful and good humored about it all. I normally grab a hot sub — the Cripple Creek is my stample — because at that time of the night/morning a cold sub just doesn’t hit the spot for me. That said, they have a very good menu and the prices are not nuts by any stretch. So, while it may not be something you want to have every night, if you are in a pinch and can’t get away from work, these guys are the culinary equivalent to the«Bat Phone».
