Such an awesome little place with an incredible selection. I don’t live near enough to go frequently but if I’m ever anywhere close I’ll be sure to stop in.

These guys are the best in town! We come to Denver a couple times a year and I fill the trunk. Small batch has a great selection of some of the craft beers both local and from afar. This is a great place to find limited releases. The staff always goes out of thier way to make recommendations and help out. This is my 1^st review, these guys definately deserve it

Walked in for the first time to check it out and grab some beer. An employee was loading up the case blocking the aisle. I stood patiently for him to finish and once done he didn’t say a word, gave me a sideways glance and then walked back to talk to his buddy behind the counter.
Not a simple excuse me, can I help you, or even a hi. After that I decided to walk out. Would rather go out of my way to mondo vino where they’re pleasant and helpful.
Looked like a cool spot and the reviews seem positive. Bummer that dude was so aloof

I can’t say enough great things about this business. But I’ll try! Their selection is pretty fantastic for being so small. Great wine, from $ 10 and up, great whiskey. Knowledgeable staff, always a plus. Also, it’s down the street from my house! I believe another reviewer said «This place has exactly what you need to get you drunk if you have a refined pallet». AMEN!

This place has exactly what you need to get you drunk if you have a refined pallet. They have THE best beers you will find anywhere. Rare stuff, experimental stuff, all of it. It’s pretty much all six packs and bombers. Even beer snobs won’t find a thing to bitch about. Great staff of dudes that know whats up. They probably know what you like better than you do so let them find you a good 6’er to take home.

Great mid sized liquor store. They have a good selection, knowledgable and polite staff and fair prices. Great place to buy a good bottle of whiskey or some nice craft beer. Good selection of stuff that’s out of the mainstream and stuff you might not see everyday. Parking is a bit rough, prices are a little on the high end but overall a good liquor store.

This place is one-​of-​a-​kind. Not only is the shop cute and well stocked, but the staff is impressively passionate about their craft beer, wine and liquor.
We went in looking for a specific brand in mind and the staff knew right away what it was and when it was coming in. I loved that they not only carried local brands but also some small batches we had never heard of.
You can buy amounts from single cans all the way to 6-​packs. I left with a nice bottle of Dickels 10yr. Would be a great spot to pick out a few beers for a tasting party.

The selection at Small Batch is not huge but it doesn’t have to be. They people who work there will help you find whatever you need — wine, spirits, hard cider, beer etc., within your price range. Hands down, the friendliest staff around — great asset to Tennyson St.

Everything about Small Batch Liquors makes me happy. From the wide array of Colorado liquors to the great selection of craft beers from San Diego and everything in between, there’s bound to be something new I want to take home. The shop is on the smaller size, but they use their space wisely, and manage to pack pretty much anything you could be looking for.
If for some reason the don’t have something specific, Joe is really knowledgeable and willing to help, so don’t hesitate to ask him questions. He talked to my brother and I about different varieties of whiskey, the aging process, and even suggested some whiskeys he didn’t carry. To top it off, he pointed us in the right direction for breweries/​beer bars that we had to check out in Boulder on our visit. Really, a pleasure to talk to. This is the shop I’ll be going back to anytime I have any type of beer/​wine/​spirit needs.

Since moving back to Colorado from North Carolina, I’ve been searching for a liquor store that recaptured the awesomeness of living in a place not yet overrun with so many microbrews that God forbid they carry anything from out of state that might be interesting, lest someone expand their view of other states’ and countries’ abilities to make some fine goddamn alcoholic beverages.
Enter Small Batch Liquors, my savior and bastion of amazing, high quality everything because, well, that’s the way it should be.
Everything here is top shelf, or that locked cabinet that is beside the top shelf. I haven’t gotten into the wine selection yet but am impressed as all hell with the beer and liquor. There are things here I’ve never seen, or have not seen in years. Small batch Belgian farmhouse ales (get the Fantome before it’s gone!), growlers of obscure brews I can only imagine are done once in a blue moon, flavored bitters lined up like an alchemist’s collection of remedies, and gorgeous bottles of liquor in all shapes and sizes, with achingly awesome label designs.
Your corner liquor store it ain’t, and that suits me just fine.

I LOVE Small Batch Liquors! For a small shop they have an amazing selection. I am a bit of a wine snob but their staff go above and beyond to help me find wines that suit my taste (and my budget). They are really interested in helping the customer find something new that they will love!
I know nothing about beer and went in there once to try to find a gift for my boyfriend and the staff (as always) was so helpful! They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect beer and even educated me a bit in the process.
Highly recommend! This shop is an asset to the neighborhood.

Love Small Batch Liquors! This is my neighborhood liquor store, but it’s so much more. Where to start?
Joe and Tami are great host/​hostess/​owners and really know their beer, wines and liquor. (They’re great neighbors, too!)
The quality and quantity of microbrews is awesomely overwhelming. If you know what you like but aren’t sure what to buy or try, ask! Joe, Tami or the other staff will make recommendations. I’ve taken Joe up on several recommendations for Red wines and beer and everything I’ve tried has been spot-​on.
The liquor selection is a little small, but the quality is great. No big name brands here folks — so if you’re looking for Grey Goose, Ketel One, Chopin, Tito’s, Absolut — go elsewhere; this is Small Batch, see?
That said, the Breckinridge Vodka is a recent find and is on par with those previously mentioned.

This is a great place to buy hard to find wines, liquors, and beers.
Saturday, I walked in looking for good imported and elusive sweet vermouth, but I walked out this weekend with another small batch bourbon for my collection. Apparently, good vermouth is hard to find these days, but they promised to bring some in for me (hopefully Dolin).
Obviously, small batch spirits, wines, and beers are not inexpensive, but they have a great wall of wines for $ 9.99 or less. So I walked out with a bottle of wine too.
I am glad that places like this exist, since I am told that I have expensive and exotic tastes.

Found this store by chance while wondering the area during the Viva Streets festival (which I also happened upon by chance).
While it seems to be mostly wines at first, I advise you to turn left upon entering and wander into their craft liquor selection. Lots of local offerings!
After that, head to the back of the store for shelves of sour ales. This is my favorite beer variety so I was even more excited to hear there was another case in the back room.
It was my last night it town so I didn’t end up purchasing anything, but this will be a good resource on my next visit.

The BEER selection is amazing.

Focused on items you cannot get anywhere else.
A good upgrade to an already very good store.

This place had an incredible selection of craft beer. Any ‘suds-​head’ would be well-​served to make a pilgrimage to this awesome spot.
They also have a very thoughtful collection of whiskey and wine.
The owner is really knowledgable and fun to chat with.
I’m really glad I discovered this place. It’s definitely worth passing the 4 liquor stores that I drive by on the way to Small Batch.

Small Batch Liquors is a unique mix of wide selection within a small environment. I stopped in to check out the beer selection as was pleasantly surprised with the array of beers they had.
The bomber section included a large Colorado section but had a good selection from Utah and California as well. I know it’s hard to fathom, but there is good beer in other states too. I was happy to see a good selection from TRiNiTY and The Bruery.
This is a good spot to grab craft beer at a reasonable price. Worth checking out if you’re in the area. Knowledgeable and friendly staff is a huge plus too.

Beer cave, yes please!
I have been to Small Batch a couple times now, and have been delighted each time… first off, they have had some sort of tasting each time I’ve been (First time was a sampling of 4 beers, next time was a wine tasting) and that was great. Especially with wine, if places are doing tastings I am way more likely to purchase them, because it can be so hard to select one and know if you’ve picked a winner or not.
Their overall selection is outstanding in every category – loads of small batch and local spirits, really solid (and affordable) wines, and more beer & bombers than you can shake a stick at! Competitive prices too, for being such a small operation. You can really tell the owners are passionate about their products – He was telling me about how they have to drive up north to pick up their shipments of Epic Brewing beers because they don’t (yet) distribute to Denver… its so worth it too, because they have 10 – 15 of Epic’s beers, and they are fantastic. That’s the kind of care that sets Small Batch apart.
The place is tiny, don’t get me wrong, but it is so packed full of goodness that I will keep going back. Yeah!
