My wife ate your food today at the 200 Ellington Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD location. After she had take out she fell immediately ill, with stomach pains, vomiting, the whole 9. I called the location to make sure he is checking his kitchen standards and staff/food prep. Etc… He told me «Our food takes at least 24hrs to make someone sick» WHAT!!! Please don’t let this happen to another customer, you have just lost 2. Sad thing is we live across the street and frequent it quite often. Please be on top of this location as my family and friends will hear our testimony.

The most insulting Customer service in my life. Up until now I’ve been a huge Smashburger fan. Last night when I went into this store I waited nearly 20 minutes to get my burger it was overcooked. I asked the cashier if I could have it redone. I went back to my seat and sat down and a moment later the shift manager named Fred walked back to my table with 5 dollars in his hand and a receipt. He placed in on my table and said«here is five dollars it’s more than you paid for the burger and walked away. Moments later he came back with the burger I had returned and put it on my table. I was in shock. Thinking he miss understood the cashier I walked up to him and said excuse me I didn’t ask for my money back I would just like to have the burger cooked correctly he didn’t say a word instead, he completely ignored me and walked away. Still in shock, I waited by my table till he came back by and I said excuse me is there a problem and he said to me yes every time you come in here you use a coupon. I’m sorry am I missing something here? isn’t the purpose of providing coupons to customers via sites like Coupon Sherpa to get them to come into the store to begin with. To make matters worse, this is not the first time we’ve had a problem with Fred in this store. the first time I came into the store when he was working here he rolled his eyes back in his head when I showed him the the coupon. I can’t believe that Smashburger continues to allow this employee named Fred to work in the store and represent them as a shift manager. sorry to say, they lost a very loyal Smash Customer
