Overhyped, overpriced, huge lines and ridiculous wait times. The fact that snooze is popular speaks more to the lack of good breakfast places in Denver, not that its actually good. Ok, the pancakes are great, but everything else is very so-so. I avoid this place like the plague.

Best GF pancakes ever. The only down side is having to wait forever to get seated. It literally takes 2 hours on weekends, and even weekdays aren’t much better. Other than the wait, this place is an awesome Denver staple when it comes to breakfast/lunch.

Food was SOO good. I got the huevos rancheros & it was super tasty, however only thing I would say is it came out kind of cold. Not super cold but I wouldn’t even say it was warm, still delicious. My friend got the classic breakfast(I think) and she said it was awesome. We came at about 1 and didn’t have a wait at all. So overall good food & decent prices. Will come again(:

We made our first visit last weekend and were very impressed with Snooze. We had a short wait, 20 mins maybe which is totally expected at a place this popular at 11:00 A. M on a Saturday. While standing outside waiting to receive the text that our table was ready, it was very comfortable & laid back with small groups talking & playing corn-hole. Inside was a pretty eclectic mix of customers all carrying on and enjoying themselves. Not stuffy in the slightest. Once we were seated outside on the rail, I ordered the Benny Goodman and my wife ordered the Chilaquiles Benedict. Our order came out quickly and the food was excellent! Our meals were were so incredibly different but both delicious! Top that off with a few good cups of coffee and we were fat & happy. Most importantly(to me anyway) — the service… We were lucky enough to sit in Alan’s section and well, he made the day for us for sure. He is really easy going, great at his job and just seems like a really cool guy. The respect that he showed to a panhandler who came by our table was so impressive and so indicative of the type of person that I suspect he is. We were really impressed with him and I hope Snooze recognizes what a great employee they have in Alan. We will definitely go back, there are a ton of menu options and it was hard to choose just one thing so now we’ll have to back and try more :-)

Great brunch spot! Service was good. Bigger then I expected. We came at 8:30 am on Saturday and there was no wait. By the time we left at 10 am, outside was packed. Be prepared for long lines if you come late. Street meter parking. Snooze House Coffee– $ 2.75 — Good black coffee, comes in a cute cup. Breakfast Burrito — $ 9.25 — Huge burrito. Good balance of the filling so it was not to much of one thing. I got black beans on the side, one of the best beans I have ever had. Benedict Duo — $ 12 — Chilaquiles & Bella Bella — Chilaqulies had a nice thick tortilla as the base and the barbocoa was decent. Bella Bella had a toasted ciabatta base which was kind of difficult to cut and eat. Prosciutto is always good. Balsamic glaze was not needed. Both poached eggs gave perfect yolk porn. Pancake Flight — $ 9.50 — Pineapple Upside Down, Blueberry Danish, & Peanut Butter Cup — Pineapple did not have much pineapple flavor, only cinnamon. Blueberry was pretty small in size and really sweet, did taste like blueberries though. Peanut Butter Cup was all chocolate and no peanut butter flavor. Needed to put less chocolate on top. The pancakes themselves were really fluffy and cooked well.

Was my first stop in my travels through this beautiful state on my vacation. I arrived around 9:30ish and the place was pretty steady as any good restaurant is. I gave my name and number to the lovely hostess and within less then ten mins I was sat at the bar which I where I hoped to be seated. I feel terrible not remembering the two awesome/attentive bartenders names(sorry guys!) but I was instantly greeted with a smile and a wonderful recommendation for a Mamosa. It was very tasty! I ordered the Ham Benedict III, man O man I was not disappointed! It was possibly the best I have ever had… The hash browns are sinfully DELICIOUS! I was also given some great recommendations for dinner/drinks tonight while I am in the city. All-in-all I highly recommend stopping by, Filling/Amazing breakfast and a cocktail for under $ 20.00… YESPLEASE! Cheers, A very happy customer!

My party of 4 arrived on a busy Sunday morning around 10AM and waited approximately 30 minutes to be seated. We were seated outside in the patio area, which we welcomed since the day was beautiful for outside seating. Despite multiple appetizing options on their menu, I ultimately decided to order the Snooze Spuds Deluxe, which consisted of hash browns with bacon, sausage, and cheese and topped with 2 sunny side up eggs. I also ordered a single pancake on the side for a sweet bite and a choice mimosa with pineapple juice and bubbly. Since my better half and I were Snooze virgins, they brought us an upside down pinapple pancake to try out on the house and it was mouthwateringly delicious. My Spuds Deluxe was equally tasty as was the plain pancake and the mimosa. Everybody else loved their food too. Everything about my Snooze experience was excellent and I was grateful that my best friend had suggested it as our final brunch farewell to Denver before heading back to Miami. When I am back in town next time, another visit to Snooze will definitely be on my agenda.

5÷13÷2016− We came here at the right time because when we left there was quite a wait. Laker was our server and she was superb. As busy as it was and she must of came by our table 7x. I got their most Basic meal, 3 eggs, chorizo patty, instead of bread I got their spinach arugula salad with blueberries with a citrus vinaigrette. The eggs were a little greasy. The chorizo was spicy, nice flavor. My favorite was the salad. Angie S. ordered the special pancakes and I stole a bite… ok 2 bites. Amazing!!!

The best thing I ever ate was a benny duo — half an order of two Benny’s. Early Harvest Benny Griddled pesto grit cakes topped with a broccolini and wild mushroom ragout, poached cage free eggs, cream cheese hollandaise and roasted pepper coulis. Benny Goodman Lox style salmon and cream cheese served over toasted rye and topped with poached cage free eggs, cream cheese hollandaise blended with sun dried tomato and caper relish. I’m dead on the floor thinking about this food because it was so good and I was only visiting in Denver for the weekend so I don’t know if I’ll ever have this meal again unless I go back. My boyfriend has the OMG french toast which was good but I’m more a savory than sweet kind of person so I was way too into the Benny’s to have much of an opinion on the french toast other than a simple«it was good.» Black coffee was great and the waitress gave me a fresh cup to go on my way out. She was super nice and great at her job. I read about snooze online on almost every website before coming to Denver and didn’t consider coming because everyone said it was a long wait but we ended up going anyway and getting super lucky cos we found parking right out front and didn’t have to wait for a table. This place is A1 !!!

Full disclosure: I went at 1 pm on a Friday, therefore avoiding the terrible lines. This is an adorable, bright, happy eatery with the most Denverite waiters one could picture: they’re all super mellow, all in excellent shape, and chipper to boot. The bloody marys are properly boozy/tomatoey/salty, with tasty(not wrinkly, aged) garnishes. And the food is perfect breakfast fare — special shout out to the breakfast tacos, with hash browns and pulled pork or chorizo, a perfect combination of savory, starchy satisfying. There’s a tofu scramble for vegans, and gloriously tasty flights of creative pancakes. If forced to choose, I would favor the sweet potato. I’m not a line person, so I can’t say if it’s worth the wait, but it is a delicious breakfast spot regardless of the time of day.

This amazing place. On vacation in Denver we checked this place out. It was so good, we headed back two days later. This review will encompass two visits. On my first visit, we were seated right away by a friendly hostess and greeted quickly by a nice server. I ordered the corned beef hash. This was tasty, but not over the top. My friends ridiculed me for ordering a basic dish and not being overly impressed. My wife ordered the French toast. This should be called French cake. This was AMAZING. This plate of food was killer, in fact, this brought us back for another visit. The next visit was slightly different. We had a 30 minute wait and encountered a less than friendly hostess and server. It was clear that they were busy and hustling. The food… I ordered the Ham Benedict III which was really good. Their hash browns are unbeatable. The wife went back for the French toast. All in all, this ranks as one of my favorite breakfast places ever! Keep up the good work Snooze and move out west.

One of the best breakfast spots of any city I’ve been to, EVER! The menu is a nirvana of flavorful, creative options; this is what I dream about when I dream of the perfect breakfast joint! Service was warm, friendly, fast and all around perfect, coffee never got past ½ empty and water always full. Ordered the OMG French toast after reading all the reviews(yeah, its that damned good, just order it, you’re welcome). Also got the corned beef hash which was very good but not near as amazing as the Chilaquiles Benedict which is one of the best benedicts I’ve eaten to date. Bacon was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of flavor and thickness. This spot makes me wish I lived in Denver and that I hadn’t been there for a business meeting; would have loved to have been there in jeans and just sat for 30 mins after, drinking coffee, reading the paper and just digesting that unbelievable meal.

After hearing so many good things about snooze, we knew we had to check it out and while some items were remarkable, others left me wanting something more. I’ll still remark on them here anyways though. The prosciutto eggs Benedict was an amazing Benedict. I think they called it the Bella Bella Benny. It was a rockstar dish. The salmon eggs Benedict however was just okay. It’s entirely possible I am just overspoiled by living in Seattle and getting higher quality salmon. I did not enjoy the hash browns, they had no golden to them and were not even a bit crisp. My girlfriend had the Barbacoa burrito which was okay but not amazing. It was a lot of food for pretty cheap but the potatoes in it were just so so. The meat was also pretty dry which I thought was odd for Barbacoa. Their spicy Bloody Mary was amazing, I ended up getting two which I almost never do because it was so tasty!

Snooze’s food definitely lives up to the hype. Is it worth waiting 1 – 2 hours for? Hell no! If you want to beat the crowds get your butt outta bed earlier than 9 and it wont be a problem. As for the food, my favorites are the breakfast pot pie, corned beef hash, and those awesome pineapple upside-down pancakes.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and only waited around 20 minutes to be seated, food took less than 10 minutes to come out. I have been to another location of snooze and the wait time took much, much longer there. Snooze has a good variety on their menu with very reasonable prices. I got an egg Benny for $ 11 when in other places they typically start at $ 13. I also like their hash browns. It isn’t a traditional patty, it looks like a little cake and it looks less fried which I do not mind at all, but actually prefer! The food is good– good sized portions for the price! Their French toast is on my bucket list;) I do have to say that I can’t agree with the hype surrounding snooze. It’s a great place for brunch, but it isn’t the best one I have been to.

I have loved Snooze since I first visited Denver and was really hoping to bring my friends during their visit. As I called around the various Snooze locations, I was super excited to discover the Ball Park one had a more limited wait. All the coffee we drank while we were waiting really helped us pass the time. My friend and I shared the Bella! Bella! Benny, the Winter Harvest Benny, and a pancake flight. My favorite of the eggs Benedicts was the Winter Harvest Benny. I liked the range of fresh flavors on the grit cake. The Bella one was harder to cut and a bit more standard. Of the pancakes, my favorite was the Blueberry Danish pancake which had a delightful balance between fruit and rich cream. The coffee and donuts pancake had a really cool concept/presentation, but I felt like the streusel had a greasy mouth feel. Everything was super tasty overall. Another great Snooze experience!

This place is definitely worth waking up for and no extra snoozes needed. Never have a been to a place where they had a pancake flight(choose any 3 flavors) or a benedict combo(choose any two). Delicious and speedy delivery. I don’t think I could afford to fly to CO to frequent this location even though the service and customer base make it very much worth it. Time to try the San Diego one next!

What can I say, everyone in Denver knows Snooze is awesome. It’s not *brilliant*, but what they do, they do damned well. Very nice gluten-free options, just make sure to let them know if you’re celiac, as they have additional precautions they take. Recommended: all of the pancakes(which are really dessert), the breakfast tacos, the benedict.

This place knows how to do breakfast right, and unfortunately the entire city knows it, so be prepared to wait. This location doesn’t have a large lobby to do so in, though if you can find a spot, you’re welcome to grab a drink while waiting. The menu is mainly centered on breakfast with a few lunch options for those that are breakfast adverse. I got a benedict on my visit, and it was absolutely delicious, though quite salty. I was reaching for the water glass all day. They let you mix and match benedicts if you want, which is a great option if you’d like to try multiple things. Our server also brought out a pancake for the table, which may have one of the better pancakes I’ve ever had. I definitely tend to go sweet over savory for breakfast, but it was nice to get the best of the both worlds. I wouldn’t make this a regular stop because of the long wait, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind.

Snooze has some delicious dishes and specializes in their unique and mouth-watering pancake selections. They also have really good scrambles that you can custom-design with unique ingredients. The servers are happy and quite attentive and the atmosphere is funky and fun. There are so many things to love about Snooze. And then there is the glaring detraction that brings it down from a 5-Star restaurant to a 4-Star: the wait. If you are unlucky and arrive during peak hours, you will wait for a really, really long time. The long waits are not worth the food. So, my advice is to visit on the weekdays and don’t go during peak hours or you will pay for it.

I heard so much about the Fort Collins, CO location that I just had to try out the Denver location! I hadn’t gone before because I heard it was overpriced normal brunch food, but boy was I mistaken. Not super cheap brunch, but definitely unique offerings! I had a hard time choosing what pancakes and egg benedicts I should order! But before I get to the food, let’s talk atmosphere. They loose a few stars in my mind because the waiting area fits about four people. Not enough waiting space for a popular establishment that usually has a wait. I ended up waiting outside in the cold, because it was honestly just too hot and crowded inside the door. Once you walk in, you get transported back in time to an old retro dining room. The circular booths were the most fun! Their coffee mugs look homemade and almost like The Flintstone’s would have had them in their kitchen. Want a Saturday morning«pick me up,» they’ve got morning cocktails to «warm» you up! After my two visits, I’d definitely recommend the Benny Duo, where you get to choose two different types of eggs benedict and the Pancake Trio, where you get to choose three different types of pancakes/or/French toast. They seemed like the best deal for me – because I got to try more flavors in one meal! I wanted to get the most out of my visit. I wasn’t a huge fan of their coffee. aka nothing special. but that seems like a hit and miss at diners for me. It was hard for them to accommodate a big group. the eight of us had to split into two booths near each other. Not terrible, just disappointing. Oh and the waitress, Laken, is awesome! She gifted us a free pancake of the day while we were waiting for our food. And it was delicious! So kind!

Great brunch spot! Perfect for indecisive people, since you can get a sampler plate of pancakes or a mix of two different eggs Benedict. Cool people, good food, reasonable prices. What more can you ask? Our two orders were the pancake sampler, and the Benny Duo. We tried the house pancake, the coffee and donuts pancake, and the sweet potato pancake and loved them all, and then we tried the winter harvest Benny and the Benny Goodman. They were all really good, and it was great we could try so many different things with only two people.

You snooze you lose, but if you Snooze you win. The breakfast/brunch menu is something out of my wildest fantasies. «The Art of Hollandaise» is a section with various drool-worthy takes on an Eggs Benedict. You can mix and match or order a half portion(one egg). The Bella Bella and the Benny Goodman are both sooooooooo sooooo delicious. There’s also a good selection of sandwiches, other misc breakfast items like a breakfast pot pie, and an impressive sweets page. It boasts several decadent pancake flavors and a pancake«flight» which allows you to try one pancake of three different flavors. This is great to split amongst the table. Choosing from this creative and diverse menu almost gave me a panic attack. I need to return soon — it will be well worth a flight across the country!

Went to visit Colorado for my Birthday and heard this place is a must to try, and people were right! If you love eggs benedict with hollandaise any selection from«the art of hollandaise» off the menu is awesome. We tried the Chilaquiles Benedict and the Chile Verde Benny, both poached eggs cooked perfectly with chile verde sauce. And, if you are a peanut butter lover then you must try their Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes… just delicious! It was a long and cold wait, but definitely worth it! They also offer complimentary coffee when you wait. Can’t wait to to come back!

Fantastic breakfast. Decent service. Our waitress needed step-wise prompts for a few things.(For example, we had to ask for water. After she only brought 1 glass and rapidly walked away, I mused over having to ask for ice and a 2nd glass.) The food was stellar though. I got the pancake flight: drunken punk’n, blueberry danish, and chocolate chip. They were all fantastic — exactly the sort of sweet tastes I love for breakfast, especially pairing them with some crispy bacon. My best friend had 2 different eggs benedict items, which she equally loved. I’d be happy to return here for breakfast or brunch.

Snooze is an all time favorite. I almost always come here when I am in town. And we got lucky with a 15 minute wait this morning! We ordered the breakfast pot pie and it was delicious as always. Can’t go wrong with hash browns and rosemary sausage gravy topped with a flaky pastry puff and egg. I haven’t found this dish offered at any other restaurant. We also ordered the 3 egg scramble with white cheddar, pablanos, and green chili. The green chili could have used a little more kick, but still great on my eggs. I also got this amazing side of blueberry jam with my toast that I couldn’t get enough of. I would have bought a jar if they sold it. The final dish we ordered was the Chilaquiles Benedict. What an incredible dish. Tender marinated barbacoa on top of tortillas that were soaked and baked in ranchero sauce topped with a custom hollandaise sauce. I never knew hollandaise sauce could be so delicious when mixed with green chili.

I’ve been here several times with friends who had raved about it. Don’t get me wrong… the place is good, but is it worth the hype and the hour wait? Probably not. The good: the atmosphere is fun in the Snooze chains with retro décor. The staff has always been very accommodating and kind. The specialty pancakes can be pretty delicious. The breakfast cocktails are amazing. The bad: Since this place is so hyped about the wait is always crazy long. I find the food to be a bit(10−20%) overpriced for what you’re getting. Adding extras can cost you significantly more which annoys me. I do enjoy the sweet breakfasts but I find there to be a complete lack of flavor in the savory options. The bottom line, try this place out when your sugar tooth is acting up on an off peak day.

Heard this is where the locals culminate for breakfast /lunch. Got there about noon and waited 45min for party of two. Wait was easy drinking free coffee. Ordered 2 drinks; Mountain Mule and Brewmosa which was average. The Corned Beef Hash tasted different(tasted too healthy lol, since I’m from cali). Also enjoyed a plate with 3 different types of pancakes until my friend discovered a piece of plastic in her mouth(They apologized and took it out of bill). The serivce was friendly but a lil overpriced for me

We are in Denver for a couple days. We found this place on Unilocal and we are so glad we did. I had the green eggs and ham sandwich. It was delicious! We shared a drunken punken pancake. I do have to say I’ve had better pumpkin pancake but I will be back to try others on the menu:) Update. I’ve had breakfast here 3 mornings in a row now. I really don’t like the coffee here. That’s my only complaint. I’ve had regular coffee, French press, and latte. I’ve tried with and without cream with and without a flavor no matter what I do it’s just not up to par with the food. The hash browns aren’t my favorite but just sub them for a pancake and u can’t go wrong! Great service and food everytime

Its great food, but… yeah…its dessert for breakfast, regardless of how you look at it. Well no, I guess it could be dessert for lunch depending on what time of day you go. The chilaquiles are the best in Denver — actually, the best I’ve ever had even in other areas closer to Mexico. Long waits make it rather annoying to dine there. Its a novelty, for sure. I can sit at home and eat a package of Oreos for breakfast and get the same caloric intake as a normal person would, eating at Snooze. Great service, though so rushed most of the time, that it gives the slight feeling of assembly line. Servers are friendly and show personality. The food is actually pretty expensive and its not very filling which means you end up ordering more, eating more and spending more.

Snooze was the first stop I made on my trip to Denver. Got here on a Friday morning and was seated fairly quickly. The waiting area is pretty small but they offer complimentary coffee to make the wait more enjoyable. The food here is absolutely delicious. I would recommend the french toast because it is very tasty. The portions are a little smaller than most breakfast places but it does fill your stomach nicely so nothing to complain about. Restaurant itself was very clean and staff was very polite and friendly. Keep up the good work

If you live in the area, most likely you have been to this precious little place. The fact it has over 2000 reviews and almost always minimum an hour wait proves their popularity– but I really think Snooze lives up to all their hype. My most recent visit was today. My office was one of the few that closed for Veteran’s Day so when I was going to meet up with some girlfriends I suggested Snooze because I knew the wait wouldn’t be that bad compared to the normal two hour wait where people have to sit on the sidewalk in glorious 5 points. I got the bloody mary with bourbon and bacon, I can’t remember what it was called but it was tasty, had a slight kick, and gave me a quick buzz. I only wish it was bigger! $ 8 is a little steep for the size of it. Food: the three of us girls couldn’t decide: sweet vs. savory? So we decided to split a pumpkin pancake as an «appetizer». sweet, fluffy, creamy, and GOOD! I got the Bella Bella Benedict, and I didn’t leave a crumb on the plate! Lol #FatKid but I definitely left happy. I Love You, Snooze. Truly and deeply. My only bone to pick with Snooze, besides the wait, is this: Not only do we have to deal with Texans and Californians moving here and clogging up our interstates and decently priced apartments, but now Snooze apparently is building locations in those two states. No, no no no! Snooze is OUR little gem.(disclaimer: ok yeah I was born in CA but I’ve been here since the early 90s so shush!)

Yeah you heard that right. PANCAKEDANISH. Delicious. I also tried the eggs Benedict that was pretty good as well. We went on a Saturday morning. We waited for about 5 minutes for a table. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to review Snooze! If you’re looking for the best breakfast in the world… look no further. Seriously, this place rocked my socks and then some. Just from the line at the door at 7 am on a Wednesday, I knew I had arrived at a little slice of heaven. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and never once seemed out of sorts with the crowd. I opted for the eggs benedict with prosciutto and oh my lands was I impressed! I ordered it because it was different from any other breakfast I have had, and I’m so glad that I did because it was exactly what I was hoping for. On the side, I took a cinnamon roll pancake and let me just say, this pancake will have you itchin for more! My next trip to Denver, Snooze will again be my first stop!

SO glad we got to try this place while we were in Denver! We went on a Thursday morning and only waited a few minutes, though our Über driver said the place is notorious for long waits all days of the week. The décor is cute and space-agey with a modern twist. The staff was friendly and checked in on us often. But the food. The FOOD. Perhaps the best meal we had in Denver. We got the french press for two, because coffee. And it was perfect. Then came our breakfast. I ordered the Chile Verde Benny, and my husband got the 3 eggs any style and added bacon and a pineapple upside down pancake. The pancake was so good the two tables next to us ordered one also because we couldn’t shut up about it. Be prepared for a pancake the size of a small pizza! The Benny was divine, though they use corn tortilla stacks in place of English muffins. The tortillas were good but didn’t quite absorb the hollandaise and egg yolk like the muffin does, which I missed. Flavor was spot on though!
