This is truly a 5-​star vet hospital and has been for the 11+ years that we have been taking our pups. Wonderful staff!!! Always very kind and caring! We have never walked away thinking that an unnecessary procedure was done or that we were rushed out of the office. We also appreciate that a rug is put down on the exam table so our pup can be comfy while being examined. A few months ago we had to put down a long-​time member of our family and even though it was extremely sad, Dr. Smith and staff made it bearable with their kindness and thoughtfulness. On our last visit we met with Dr. Jensen-​Otsu, and like Dr. Smith, is also wonderful. Thank you for taking such great care of our pups!

Little Kitty and I visited today for a wellness check and everyone we interacted with was considerate and kind. The entire experience from start to finish was satisfying. The facility is clean and bright and very inviting. The exam room was nice and it had a rug on the table instead of cold hard steel for little paws. I was even offered a beverage while I waited!

Was looking for a veterinary clinic close to home and was referred here. Very nice, clean and the staff if so nice! Dr Reiter was very helpful and continues to show concern for my cat. Very glad to find this place for his care.

I have taken my kitty, Sara here for a few years and I’m very happy with the quality of vets and overall kindness of everyone there. We had a bit of an emergency situation a few days ago and they got my cat in within an hour. I appreciate all the sensitivity and kindness from everyone. It’s so hard when your animals are sick. For me, the true test of a vet and the office is how they respond to urgent situations. We love Stapleton Vet Hospital :)

Have been going to Stapleton Vets for about a year and have been pleased thus far. One thing I really appreciate is that I can easily walk to the new location, which is just great! I’ve had an opportunity to meet most of the vets and/​or techs and find many to be kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The front desk staff are always polite and extremely helpful. I anticipate continuing to use Stapleton Vets for many years to come and would encourage anyone in the Stapleton, East Colfax, Montclair, Lowry neighborhoods to give them a shot!

This vet office is everything you could ever ask for in a vet! Everyone we have interacted with here is amazing, compassionate, and intelligent. We have been taking our large buddy here for about 5 years and always leave more than satisfied. They are thorough and have a genuine care for animals that is easy to see! We will be going here as long as we have animals!

We’ve been taking our dog Gracie here since we moved to Denver (back when they were 29th St. Hospital). Gracie had to go in for an emergency yesterday because she was vomiting and listless. They did a great job of taking care of her and thankfully she didn’t need surgery. Poor little girl is resting at home now, but she loves going to the vet because she gets such good treatment there! (Seriously she wags her tail and wiggles her tush to show how happy she is to see everyone — they’re like old friends to her!) Thank you so much for taking care of our girl, and helping calm us down as well!

When I moved to Denver, and was looking for a vet 5 years ago, Dr. Smith can highly recommended I’ve been a loyal client ever since. Not only is she incredible, but lately I’ve been seeing Dr. Reiter and I love her. I can be overly emotional when it comes to my furbabies and she is so fantastic not only with them but with me. I could carry on about the great experiences I’ve had there but won’t bore you with my stories. I have a lot of hairy kids and they could not be in better hands. The whole staff is wonderful and I also highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience taking my little Petunia here when she suddenly got sick. They fit me in same day for an appointment. We saw Dr. Tomoko and she was wonderful… explained the X-ray’s with detail and understandable language. She answered my 100’s of questions with care. She appeared very understanding, caring, sensitive, and invested in my kitty’s health.
The office staff was gracious and exceptional! They took time with and attended to me upon my arrival. There was a Keurig machine in the entrance area which was especially nice as our appointment was in the early morning and it was very cold outside. The apple cider really warmed me up :)
I feel SO lucky to have this veterinary hospital in my neighborhood.

Thank you so much to the team at Stapleton VH for helping me get an emergency prescription for my cat after I lost our meds during a road trip! They were able to get a speciality pharmacy in Arizona to express ship the medication to us across the country before my poor kitty got sick. Very very much appreciated!

I have been a client of Stapleton Veterinary Hospital formerly known as 29th Ave Animal Hospital for approximately 12 years. I am an animal lover and a director of Good Samaritan Animal Rescue and over the years SVH team has taken excellent care of two cats and six dogs that I have owned. Several of my pets had strange issues which required more than routine care and the staff as well as Michele Smith were always caring and compassionate of both my pets needs as well as my own. Whenever, I have been in and there are options as to testing and the necessity of the degree of testing for health issues, I was always given alternatives, price ranges and an explanation as to the cost benefit of a particular test. I absolutely love the new clinic and feel very lucky to have such a great team at my disposal.

Dr. Michelle Smith has been our veterinarian for over 12 years, and a strong member of the Stapleton Community. Our two chocolate labs (and now two poodle mixes) have had all of their healthcare needs met with consideration, thoroughness and respect. I especially have appreciated the helpful phone consultations with staff when something’s not quite right… but doesn’t necessarily mean the dog needs to be seen. They go out of the way to go over and above.
They have a text reminder service that’s really helpful when you’re due for shots, or exams, and the new state-​of-​the art facility gives you top real-​time xrays, care, electronic records — but no high price tag.
There’s a reason many families in this community trust their pets with Dr. Michelle’s care.

I was so disappointed by the overall experience at Stapleton Veterinary Hospital. I wanted by dogs teeth cleaned. When I stopped in I was quoted an estimate of around $ 300 for the blood work & cleaning, not including any extractions if necessary. That would be additional. I understood that. So I made the appointment based on what I was quoted. We went in for a wellness check and blood work to begin the procedure. My bill was 148.42. When I was given the estimate for cleaning it was 382.95! So in total it comes to $ 531.37! The ex-​rays are a separate charge along with all the misc. My dogs health is of utmost importance, that’s why I went in search of a vet. But I do believe in being forth coming with what you charge customers. When I spoke to the owner (who is also a vet) apologized but told me there was nothing she could or would do. So buyer beware!
