Cute clothes that are reasonably priced, but I agree with other reviewers, some of the quality is poor and cheap. I am also tall, so have a hard time fitting into their dresses without them being mini skirts on me.
My biggest qualm is the staff who work here, who are consistently unwelcoming. They say hi, but that’s about it. I just went in today and the woman was on her computer the entire fifteen minutes I was there. It’s a small one room store and I was the only person there, so I expected some acknowledgment that I was even inside. I will come back to look around, but find it frustrating with their lack of customer service.

This shop has a varied selection of women’s clothes. However the quality of the clothes are poorly made and of cheap material. After one or two washes on delicate cycle, the sweaters, shirts and dresses purchased were loosing their color. Shoes bought here fall apart after a few weeks of use.
Most importantly, the customer service is very poor for a small business in this area. There is a lack of professionalism and friendliness towards folks who come to shop at starlet and quite disappointing. Coupled with the lack of quality in merchandise and poor customer service, I will not recommend this boutique to my friends to shop.

I love this gem of a store. Love their awesomely curated dress selection. So much spunk and color and their style is just right up my alley.
This is a great place to come and spend your paycheck… I can’t ever seem to leave empty handed. If you need an outfit in a pinch, I suggest coming here! They have great accessories, Cute bag selection and scarves galore! Service is helpful and friendly… I just Love this store, it’s a cute little boutique in the highlands. I try to support local merchants as much as I can. Not too pricey… Mid range pricing. Quality items… On trend looks… Definitely worth a gander.

I love Starlet for so many reasons. They keep their collection fresh and in style. This is a great place for a casual shopping experience or gift emergency.
The clothing is business casual and I love the different pieces that I have added to my closet. My sister is from DC and loves
shopping here. The prices are reasonable and the clothes fit true to size.
I would say the age range for the clothes is 20−30s, but the accessories are great for all ages! This is definitely a gem of the Highlands.

This little store has some adorable items, but the girls who work here can act like you’re an annoyance. Less than helpful and borderline rude. There’s another shop on Broadway where you feel a little more welcome. Nonetheless, the clothes, jewelery and shoes are a score (on sale).

I absolutely love the merchandise, and think that’s it priced affordably for a boutique, but I agree with some of the other reviews that the return policy isn’t the greatest. I’ve also purchased a couple of things that had issues that I didn’t discover until I got home, like a bad zipper or a faulty clasp. All of that being said, I shop here any time I’m on that stretch of 32^nd and always leave with something cute and unique.

The return policy is awful. Wouldn’t even make an exception for a very frequent customer.

Big fan of Starlet — they have adorable dresses and the styles are always changing. I always encounter friendly employees. I always get assistance finding a belt that matches or opinions on whether the dress I have chosen is right for a specific occasion.
My only complaint is the return policy — it’s exchange only or store credit is issued. Sometimes I just can’t find anything to exchange and would like the money back.

I cannot leave empty-​handed.
The dresses are darling, though they do tend to be fairly short on tall ladies like myself, and there are plenty of colorful shirts and skirts with fun patterns. If you like chunky, trendy accessories, hats, scarves and the like, then this place is a must stop for you. Boutique shopping at an affordable price — what’s not to love?
This place is a hit in the Highlands and is always bustling inside, which makes it a shame that there’s only enough space for a single dressing room. You may have to wait in line to try on that frock, but chances are it’ll be worth the wait.

Starlet has some beautiful gems hidden in it’s sea of dresses and accessories. One issue is that the store only orders 1 small, 1 medium, and 1 large of each of their dresses, so they end up lacking sizes of some of their really cute stuff.
I think their sizing is strange and inconsistent. There were some size smalls that I was swimming in and others that fit better. I don’t think this would be a good dress place for anyone who is really petite or really thin (as in, under 5’2 or less than 110 pounds) because you’ll likely swim in most of the dresses. If you normally wear a larger size, then you’d likely fit something a bit smaller at Starlet.
Also, return policy is store credit only, which is a bit unfortunate when there are so few sizes left.
It can be a bit pricey– about $ 40-​$ 55 for a dress. Not outrageous, but not a bargain either.

I fell in love with Starlet. I was shocked and then giddy with excitement at all the cute purses, hats, clothes, jewelry, belts, scarves, all the delights of a boutique… without the ridiculous price tag. I bought a cute purse, scarf, and a summer dress for under $ 100.
Great spot for a unique and affordable gift or a treat for yourself without breaking the bank. What’s not to love?

This place is a cute little boutique but man do I mean little. I liked a lot of the stuff in the store but I could have used about twice as much stuff. The stuff is a little funky and for sure not low priced. It would be a good place to find a gift for the girl in your life that you just can’t find the right thing for. I think the real killer to Starlet is the other competition it has on 32^nd. There are many cute little stores and this one just doesn’t hold up well to the others.

Based on all of the competition on 32^nd Ave I found this shop to be a bit less expensive and more eclectic but the quality of several of the items I looked at wasn’t great. Two of the sweaters I thought of trying on both had small holes in them.
No service was offered.

This little shop is great! So many adorable dresses and cute jewelry and accessories. Even though the store is small, they have a fair amount of different dresses, shirts and skirts. The best part is, the prices are very reasonable. Adorable earrings for $ 15? Done. Fun sundresses that no one else will have for $ 40? Sold. I’m a fan of this place and it is now going to be one of my Denver local stops. My only suggestion is to change the curtains on the dressing rooms– the curtains leave a huge gap on each side and in the middle! Luckily there was no one else shopping while I was in there, but if it was busy, I would not have been comfortable trying on clothes while people are wandering around with 6 inches of open space between curtains showing off my bare butt to the world!

I admire this little place. I think the prices are VERY affordable compared to the other boutiques in this area. I’ve bought 2 hats under $ 15 and I get tons of compliments on how cute they are.
If you are looking for cute hats and scarfs, this place has it and so many to choose from, among some purses, jewelry, wallets, sunglasses, clothing… etc. Sweet stuff :)

Starlet gets a 3.5, it would definitely garner a 4.5 but the prices are pretty steep! It’s a very cute small boutique with creative décor, pretty carved dressers, colors and frames of Hollywood starlets lining the ceiling. They make use of all the space they have, this place is spilling over with cute accessories that are right up my alley: lighters with prints on them, you can choose from James Dean, day of the dead skulls, 60s mod art, Elvis, or various French noir. I bought a James Dean lighter for a friend’s birthday present and it was $ 15 and didn’t come with lighter fluid inside.
I needed an ID card case because my wallet won’t close and almost bought one, there were 3 different types to choose from and all 3 types came with plenty of choices in artwork. There was one where you pull the flap up and the cards come out with it which I thought was kind of cool, then there were your typical ones with the band on the inside, one thicker, the other thinner. But all of them were in the $ 24-​$ 28 dollar range! They were very attractive and I almost got one with a vintage Black Cat logo on it but I can’t justify spending almost $ 30 on an ID card case. True Love sells ID cases for $ 14 and Decade is about the same.
There were cute oversized flower rings, scarves, headbands, wallets, purses, coats, necklaces and other chic Parisian outlet type of accessories that I would definitely pick up if I didn’t have bills to pay.
The sales girl was very helpful and sweet, I didn’t once feel pressured to buy anything, stay, or leave. I had a very pleasant experience, borderline fan, borderline ok, the ok mainly pertaining to the prices, which scared me a little. I think I’ll tuck Starlet into a cute little girlfriend birthday present nook and keep them there for now. As for accessory shopping for myself, I’ll have to stick to Decade or True Love.

I love both this location and the one on Broadway. Just a cute little boutique with varied items, such as bags, purses, sweaters, funky earrings, hats. It is all unique, which is why I like it. I have to wear some stodgy stuff to work and can liven it up with a few accessories from here. Prices are reasonable; purse prices can run $ 60 – 80, which last a long time.

Went back in because I had to return the purse (the zipper pulled away from the lining) and when I exchanged it they didn’t have it in the color I liked. I wanted to see if they had something a little more «fun» for my friend.
This time, the girl was on the phone, and even though I was the only one there continued to talk on it the entire time.
That’s enough for me. I will never go back again.

SUCH a wonderful little boutique in Highlands. They carry tons of cute things here: clothing, jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, little goods. PLUS they sell Urban Expressions purses.
This is the perfect place to find a gift for a girlfriend or to shop for yourself. The store itself is SUPER cute (scrabble pieces glued to the counter spell out there return policy, how creative!) and the staff is really quite nice.
A+. I’m impressed.

If I’m in the mood to shop and not for anything specific — I head to Starlet. The place is full of purses, jewelry, hats and skirts (my personal favorite item to shop for there.) Check it out, you’ll always leave with something that people will ask about.
They’re opening another store on Broadway this month — can’t wait!
