Cute little place. I got a honey latte with the avocado toast and it was delish! Great service and good atmosphere. Wish there was wifi, but I guess I’ll be social if I have to ;)

This place is fantastic. It’s a star in a neighborhood with the likes of Work & Class and Cart-Driver. While the others cater to an afternoon or late-night crowd, Stowaway is there for the morning people. And the lunch people. And it’s fantastic. Did I say that already? Can’t say it enough. Everything I’ve had there — from the coffee to the meals — is a little nicer than you’d expect. Hayden is a genius at the coffee bar — probably the best coffee I’ve had in Denver — and Amy is brilliant in the kitchen — there are 5-star touches on the food that’s served in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. I can’t wait for summer when they open the big door and have some outdoor seating.

I want to love this place. I really, really do! The staff are incredibly nice, the food is creative and delicious, and the space is amazing. However, this is the second time I have eaten there and my coffee has come either after I am done with my food or when I am almost done. I noticed other people experiencing the same thing. The coffee,(when it came) was great, but I won’t be back until I hear they have figured out their timing issues.

Great coffee, super friendly service and a bright welcoming atmosphere. The food is some of the best in an up and coming neighborhood. Just the right amount of hip, next level avocado toast.

Yum. The food and coffee is delicious here, as everyone has been saying. I’m excited to go back and try everything. I had the Moroccan lamb soup, which was incredibly tasty and the morsels of lamb meat were so tender I wish there had been more… Note: they don’t have wifi and it’s table service, so this is more of a get an amazing breakfast with friends/family and enjoy their company & conversation place, not a get work done by yourself place.

So slow! I waited for 12 minutes for a cup of coffee! Granted the restaurant was crowded and he was making drinks before me but I think if you’re waiting there should be some priority and order. Looked like a cool place though. Hope to go back and have a better experience.

Visited this light-filled breakfast haven for the first time earlier today and, wow, I’m mighty impressed. Each Monday I like to spend an hour thinking or writing before jumping into the week’s chaos and Stowaway proved the ideal spot for my little ritual. With a variety of nooks, tables and booths(all bathed in natural light and surrounded by plants) it’s easy to find the perfect spot. For breakfast I had tea with honey & granola with yogurt — both were delicious. My server(never caught her name but she had short curly brown hair) was extra attentive and made the morning even more pleasant. Thank you Stowaway! Definitely coming back.

Yes, Denver, YES. I’ve been waiting for more places like this! The room is bright and airy, the coffee rocks, and the food is seasonal and delicious. I had the avocado toast and an Americano with house made cashew milk(so hipster and so good), which I loved. I can’t wait to come by and try the rest of the menu! If you’re in the RiNo area for breakfast or lunch(or even if you’re not), make a point to try Stowaway!

Everyone needs to come here. The quality of the food is excellent, and they make very interesting dishes. I had the almond chicken sliders and they were so much better than I even expected: flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The slaw on the side is also pretty great and fresh. Also, the coffee is really good, and if you’re staying in the shop, they serve it alongside a cute little glass bottle that holds raw sugar. The presentation at this place is unparalleled.

Coffee gets 4 stars, but I have to give 5 overall. Beautiful and light inside. The smilingest staff in town, and all our food was fantastic. I will definitely be returning. We were there the day that the absolute worst family on the planet was there — turning the entire place into a romper room full of screaming, yelling, totally unruly precious snowflakes. I would have respected the owner a bit more if they would have asked them to leave, but that’s just me.

Everything in one place… Coffee program features local roasters. Food options range to fit everyone’s needs & then some, and are all fairly priced. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with large plants, wood slabs, etc. The staff is probably the best part in my opinion– friendliest people I’ve ever met. Already a staple in Denver & it’s been open for just a few weeks. Killin it Hayden & Amy!

With such a multitude of good coffee houses and great cafes in the area to choose from, it’s hard for some to stand out. That’s not the case with Stowaway at all. They shine in comparison to most of the coffee serving eateries I have been to in Denver. I have traveled the world, so I’d like to think I know my coffee. My cappuccino was superb, probably in my top 5 ever in fact. As far as the food, this is where Stowaway really stands out from most coffee serving cafes. They are putting out some top notch dishes, with excellent quality ingredients, at very fair prices. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their choices. We had everything from the avocado toast, dukkah eggs, shakshuka, and my dish, the Colorful Colorado. All were superbly unique from any preparations I’ve had elsewhere. My eggs were perfectly poached, the salt and vinegar hash was savory, and the chipotle mayo, Niman ranch ham, and pickled radishes were winning accompaniments. All in all, this is one of the best Sunday brunch experiences I have had in a long time. If you are in the area, or would like to make the trip that won’t disappoint, check this place out. At the very least, you’ll love the brewed beverages, courteous service, and excellent music!

Stopped in on Sunday morning after seeing that this place had just opened in RiNo. It fits very well in this neighborhood. Lots of clean white walls, minimalist décor and beautiful wooden tables that make it feel modern and cozy at the same time. Just what I look for in a coffee shop. The gal who greeted us asked if we were sitting down to eat, so I assume you have the option of just ordering coffee at the counter as well? That part was a little confusing. The menu isn’t huge but I think it has a good offering of small/bigger/sweet/savory dishes and because Stowaway gears towards Japanese and Australian ingredients, you have a lot of unique options. My husband got the hash and I got the scrambled egg sandwich and while they looked BEAUTIFUL, we felt some small mistakes were made. Eggs on the hash were overcooked and no longer runny, my eggs tasted unseasoned, as did the hash. So there’s room for improvement, but everything was quick, hot, carefully plated and accompanied by good coffee, so I think Stowaway will get into the swing of things and do well.

Great find! Really amazing coffee — can’t get this quality and taste very often. We had the trout and poached eggs & egg sandwich — really unique and delicious flavors. Just opened and the unique industrial décor is just great. Best of luck and we’ll be back.

Stowaway Kitchen is a gem. We decided to check this place out for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were immediately greeted at the counter by the friendly staff who invited us to take a seat and get comfortable. We ordered coffee and a banana chocolate chip muffin to start. They serve Boxcar Coffee(the BEST) and the muffin was fresh from the oven and still warm! They are serious about the coffee here and clearly put a lot of love into the brewing process. As a main course, I ordered the avocado toast which comes on thick, fresh-baked bread and is topped with a generous portion of fresh avocado slices, sweet pickled beets, dollops of a cucumber-feta spread, and citrus-infused salt. The flavor was unique and so delicious! My husband ordered some kind of egg sandwich on a brioche bun and enjoyed every bite. We also ordered the killer whale granola with yogurt and bananas for our toddler. The food arrived quickly and the wait staff was so helpful and accommodating of our two-year-old. We really enjoyed the dining experience. Ambiance was great, and this really felt like a place where you could get to know the staff and come back again and again. Stowaway is a win for quality of food and service. We will be back here soon. What a great addition to the neighborhood!

I ordered a few items to go here for breakfast. I got the raspberry coconut scone with lemon icing(which they make in house) which was delicious. Just the right amount of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. The combo of flavors was so good. I also got the breakfast slider, which was BIG and savory. All I can say is I will be coming back to enjoy not just the food, but also the light filled, cozy environment as well as the friendly staff.
