Subway

Wayne, who was working on a Saturday morning and demonstrated exemplary customer service. He was incredibly attentive, kind and made us feel very welcome. Well done Wayne!

This Subway has always been exceptionally busy and exceptionally poor in service. I have had quite a few great experiences but whatever employee I met today shows I will never return. I asked for a meatball sub, she asked if I wanted it toasted, I said yes, she asked what kind of cheese, etc etc. She continued helping others while the cashier (always an issue in my mind, watch for hand washing) finished toasting and prepping my sandwich. When I arrived home the first bite was cold sauce and meatball. I called to complain and she rudely told me she warned me the meatballs weren’t ready. I would gladly wait for you to microwave them to the safe serving temperature if you had let me known but when she just shouted over me and told me to «Just come back» and hung up on me I had had enough. I called back and asked for a manager which she responded that she was the manager (had never seen here in many many lunches although I recognized the cashier and he has always been nice). She rudely talked over me again and basically made it my fault that I ordered something she didn’t have prepared. I have always made Subway part of my regular rotation but I will never step in to this one ever again.

The man in line ahead of me was asked, «What’s your tummy rumbling for brother?» The guy behind the counter (who took the bread and sandwich type order) was just radiating with joy, and it was so wonderful to hear him speak with his customers as they lined up one by one.
I got a heavy duty helping of avocado (nice addition there, Subway), and had a great veggie sandwich as always. The bread was soft and fresh, the guys behind the counter were friendly, and it was just a great experience.
Good job Subway.

You get what you pay for with Subway but this store has Hunt Brothers Pizza and it’s attached to a Conoco that has the most magnificent drink selection EVER!
