Subway

Very disappointed by an employee at the cash register. She was extremely unprofessional and rude to other employees that were actually trying to be customer friendly. She was counting money in the cash register at a time there were 10 people in line. Instead of taking out the drawer and counting it in a quiet room, she was doing it in sight of all people (unsafe for Subway and employees) and rude to standing and waiting customers. She blamed other employees for her lack of concentration when it was a busy time and others were just trying to help. Worst of all, she swore at other employees and embarrassed them in front of customers. When I suggested that she might apologize to «the girl» (an employee who ask politely if she could help us as we were waiting, she replied that she was counting the money (duh, not the point). Very bad judgement on this individual — I’m thinking it was the manager/​asst mgr. We will not eat there again. Very bad experience.

Super convenient location on the 16^th Street Mall.
Über amounts of interesting folks for people watching.
Busy lunch rush = long lines.
Well kept (clean) dining area.
Attentive and polite staff (most days).
Yay for banana peppers!

Like subway but this location has issues… employees are not professional at all and they have no idea the amount of meat to put in certain sandwiches. Could use a overhaul

eh, it’s subway. What more can be said for them. This one was somewhat interesting though as the sandwich guy was spewing some anit-​government taxation jargon. He was a nice guy though and pretty straight up. We thought that all of the subs were now $ 5 as they are in Cali, but he informed us that nothing is really $ 5 because of the tax and that taxation is not written in the constitution, which I could have sworn it was. Anyhow, the food was decent, but I would just as soon go to any of the other sandwich shops in the area like Jason’s or Fontano’s.
