I heard about an all you can eat sushi where the sushi is delivered to you on a reason. Yes please! It’s pricey at $ 24.99 so you better have an appetite. I was disappointed for that price that they didn’t have a larger selection of sushi rolls to choose from. The miso soup and edamame were good and the sushi was good but not the best I had.

Went here for lunch today. It’s not fancy, but the fish was fresh and the service was good. And you can’t beat the all you can eat price! Highly recommend!

Sushi Train was the worst sushi experience I have had in Denver. Tempura was cold, sushi was not fresh and staff was incredibly rude.

I went there for lunch during the week and had the all you can eat(AYCE) sushi. The place was busy by noon on a Tuesday. I give the sushi a 3, while giving the service and value of the meal($ 15AYCE sushi) a 5. I would definitely go again.

I’m no sushi connoisseur, but you can tell the difference between good sushi and average/sub par sushi, and this place was just ok. All you can eat sushi is, well… all you can eat sushi. You might get more bang for your buck in terms of quantity, but the rice quickly fills you up. Some items were ok, while others were almost inedible. I forget which nigiri we ordered, but it had some type of tangy glaze on it which make the fish taste funky like you just ate sushi that’s been sitting out for days. Obviously I am not a big fan of «all you can eat sushi.» I adamantly believe that fresher higher quality cuts of fish make better sushi and willing to shell out extra dough than mediocre sushi.

Been here a couple times before. Good service and a fun train at the bar to bring in your order.(The kids love that!) There are two different ways to order: Al la carte or the all-you-can-eat. The thing is is that if you go with all the specialty rolls(you know the yummy cooked ones, with fried stuff, or lots of sauce) you’re going to get super stuffed fast. I love sushi. I may not be an expert, but I love love sushi. And my family loves it too. On a budget, it makes sense to get sushi al la carte(especially when you have kids), but man these kiddos they can eat quite a bit too! Their seaweed salad is good(But we would probably go without), their mixed tempura is pretty good(light batter) and one order is enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, and their cucumber, avocado, and California rolls are pretty standard. Hubby really liked the spicy tuna roll(although I can’t say anything about it on my end because I’m preggers and I shouldn’t be eating raw fish anyways). Oh and I do want to note that the sushi chefs will probably give you a complimentary roll(yum! But it will be something cooked/fried and with lots of sauce. Hmmm not sure if it’s to get you full, especially if you have chosen to the all-you-can-eat route, but hey, either way both parties are happy, right?) I can only give it a 3 stars because it’s nots the freshest sushi I’ve had, and for the price, it’s so-so. For all that we ordered it came out to be more than $ 50. Definitely less than we would have spent having to go all-you-can-eat, but still too much for a family of 4. I totally understand we aren’t on the west coast, but this place still does a good job for sushi.

This place obviously isn’t Sushi Den – but it is a great value and has a variety of delicious eats. I’ve seen some reviews posted about poor service, but every time we’ve been there service was friendly, attentive, and quick! If you are feeling particularly peckish and want to stretch your sushi dollar, Sushi Train is a sure bet.

Went to Sushi Train for my daughters birthday today, sat at the counter with out three kiddos. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. the sushi chefs made a big deal for the kids sending everything on the train including little rabbits made of oranges. Great sushi, lots of it and it came quick. In last round they gave us an extra roll and we couldn’t eat it all, they were very accommodating and didn’t make us pay the left over charge, but even if we had to it would have been worth it. Great place, highly recommend

I am typically not a fan of the all you can eat concept. Places typically only give you options to get the crappiest ten rolls on the menu and then load up the rice. This place is the opposite however. All but 5 rolls are available for the all you can eat option. The sashimi is pretty meh but if you want rolls this is the absolute ticket. The crunch scallop roll, volcano roll, and my girlfriend roll are our favorites. The service is always top notch. They will have your drinks topped off all the time. They even swing by for a last call on happy hour specials. The happy hour runs until 7 and includes super cheap beer, saki, and wine. It is one of the best to get a little drunk.

Great staff, great food, great price, reccomend going at lunch to spend less money, and at dinner if you are willing to spend a little more for their beautiful looking and great tasting special rolls! I admit that things can get hectic during the busy hours, but the servers and chefs try their best to keep everyone happy and you can tell that they are doing their best.

The all-you-can-eat sushi is $ 24.99 which is average for Denver but what is below average is their grade of sushi that they use. I’m a sushi lover and this is the worst quality all-you-can-eat sushi I have ever experienced. Needless to say I got massive stomach problems for the whole night after dinner and so did my boyfriend who came there to eat with me. On top of that, the unethical way that they serve the all-you-can-eat is extremely unethical; we put in our order to get the next plate of sushi before even being close to done eating our first plate so that we would have no down-time between eating… And guess what? Waited 20 minutes in between and it still didn’t come out and it was only 12 additional nigiri pieces! Well good thing they didn’t come cause of the aforementioned stomach issues after the fact but we just asked for the check at that point and left. One last comment… The nigiri there has small slices of fish and a TON of rice… And yes I’m comparing it to other places that aren’t so cheap on their fish/rice ratio when making their nigiri.

After coming here numerous times, it seems as though both experience and food has diminished. I’m not sure if it is the huge influx of customers but this place does not feel like it once did. The salad dressing is bland, the udon broth is spicy(which it shouldn’t be and I have told them many times), and they have taken off a number of items off the all you can eat menu. This includes red snapper and seaweed salad from what I can remember. The Nigiri is still good along with other miscellaneous rolls. Pricing remains the same for all you can eat. Price of happy hour beer has gone up but that’s understandable. What business can thrive with $ 1 happy hour beer? After 3 or $ 3 even, most adults are set. The price of beer has gone up to $ 2. No biggy. I would recommend a deep clean and slight remodel around the restaurant. Bathroom feels grimy/slimy inside and looks like its been neglected. The general seating area is ok. Service is still extremely slow if you sit in the dining area instead of the sushi bar. That is where the action happens. Overall, an OK experience.

Sushi Train’s all-you-can-eat lunch is so good, it’s astonishing to me that more people don’t know about this place. I visit every month or two with some buddies and I finally took my wife today for a lunch date. The place is great and my wife enjoyed it as much as I did. It’s a cute spot for a date, even at lunch on a Monday. The sushi is the best part. Great selection of apps. Some expected faves like the fried gyoza(excellent!) and edemame, but my favorite is the totally unexpected fried stuffed jalapeño. Fantastic! The rolls include some standards and some house specialties. Have tried several with buddies; all very, very good. Today we shared the avocado roll(very fresh!) and the fried California roll(wow!). Had several nigri pieces, all tender and tasty. The shrimp and the unagi are the best, but the others were quite good, too. Customer service was perfect… Fast and attentive, food was out right away(seriously, less than five mins for our apps, sushi came out quickly, too, and there were plenty of other patrons). Our waters were never empty before a refill was offered, but they didn’t hover either. And you can’t beat the price! Easy drive, too, literally right off I-25 at Hampden. Can’t wait to get back!

very disorganized and expensive. we walked in and a couple that had been standing there before us had a puzzled look on their faces. a waitress came to us with menus and sat us at the sushi bar. a few minutes later the couple that was there before were sat next to us. we were all confused. after deciding what we wanted we waited, and waited, and waited, then had to flag down a waitress to place an order. food took forever and was not explained what was what. we weren’t sure who’s food we were eating but ate it anyways. it was five star prices with two star service, and three star food. i give it three stars because it is within walking distance from my place and its great when you are under the influence!

I had passed this place dozens of times, but never stopped because it looked so dated on the outside. Finally, I decided to try it. First, this place is filthy. From the second you enter the door, you will notice dust. The furnishings are dated, which reinforces the feeling you get from the dust. The staff were ok. Not great, but did their jobs at a satisfactory level. Regarding the sushi, I had the all-you-can-eat lunch option. Often I can overlook the atmosphere if the sushi is great. Unfortunately, the sushi is worse than the atmosphere. It did not taste fresh. Instead it tasted as if it was made days ago, placed in a container, refrigerated or frozen, then brought out(thawed out) before serving. I am sure they made a good margin on my order as I couldn’t handle much more of their food and certainly didn’t get close to my normal«all-I-can-eat» volume. If you are more interested in all-you-can-eat sushi quantity rather than actual food quality, then you might be able to overlook everything and find value here. Probably should give this one star, but I am bumping it to a 2 star because i feel sorry for the staff who were accomodating enough. Having said that, I will never be back.

The 3 stars are for the wait staff and the chefs. Went in for the $ 15 all you can eat Sushi. If you don’t finish your sushi they charge $ 0.50 a piece, which I understand and am okay with. However, when I ordered my first two plates, those were small(4 pieces) and then I ordered the third plate which had 12 pieces and they don’t mention the portion size. I had a chicken entrée coming in so I requested the server to cancel my entrée as I did not anticipate the huge serving size of the 3rd sushi order. She agreed and took it off the order. That was awesome! I agree the cleanliness is not the best but what they have is sufficient.

This place is probably the most disgusting(sanitation wise) place I have ever been, and I’ve traveled all over the world. Toilet paper wads stuck to the ceiling, and layers of sticky dust and food residue everywhere! I don’t even want to see the kitchen… The food… It is just okay, sashimi tastes a little fishy and my meal is lacking in flavor and presentation. Overall, I should have walked out before ordering, just hoping I don’t get sick!

I have no idea how this place has so many great reviews. Happy hour must be really cheap and people must get drunk really fast because I have a hard time giving it even one star. Unilocal should have negative star reviews for places like this. I should have looked around a lot closer BEFORE I ordered. I tried this place because it is so close to home and I am big on supporting the neighborhood I live in. This place is FILTHY! They have a little train that circles the sushi bar, and drops of your food. It would be cute and fun for kids to introduce them to a new cuisine, but it was beyond disgustingly filthy. So were the tracks. There are wads of napkins hanging from the ceiling. They were bothering me so much that I had to ask what they were. I was told that they were from their Sake Bombs. Why they wouldn’t clean them from the ceiling, I don’t know. To top this off I observed the chef wiping his nose on his sleeve, after completing the meal. I knew I was in for at least 24 hours of paranoia about possible illness. They offer their Special rolls if you agree to pay an extra 2.99 as part of their all you can eat lunch. I ordered an Xmas roll. I am including a picture of the menu so you can see what I ordered. Also included a picture of what I got. Bottom line if you’re going to bait and switch, just don’t offer to begin with. The roll was supposed to have Tempura Shrimp and Cucumber inside and be topped off with avocado, tuna, tobiko. The roll I got had a soggy shrimp tempura with imitation crab inside and more stale tempura flakes on the outside. There was No Tuna. No Avocado and No Tobiko. I also got an Eel roll and the tail or fin had not been removed. I kept chewing this rubbery, nasty thing and finally spat it into a napkin. I was horrified. The Tuna and Salmon rolls weren’t any better. Spicy but tasteless. I have had Grocery store Sushi that outclasses this by leaps and bounds, and let’s face it, you don’t go to a Sushi restaurant to experience below Grocery Store expectations. The food photographed surprisingly well for its lack of quality. It totally made me think of this Super Hot guy I used to know that had the unique ability to destroy the effect of his good looks by opening his mouth and saying something so beyond ignorant that you couldn’t ignore it and distract yourself by drooling at his washboard abs. The Wasabi was hot, but didn’t have that Wasabi flavor that I adore. To make a horrible meal worse, if you order the all you can eat, you’re expected to choke down every single disgusting thing you ordered or you get charged an extra .50 per piece that you can’t finish and they can’t even be bothered to refill your water glass. If you like dry rice, bland Sushi, and playing Russian Roulette with the possibility of a food born illness, and you’re fine with less than mediocre food and service, this place is for you! Otherwise steer clear. First time in a long time I literally ran home and got my Activated Charcoal and Immune Booster before completing my other errands for the day.
