Stopped by this morning, and discovered their bakery is not only closed but they have vacated the space. No forwarding address or notice!

A commenter complained about things not being sweet enough. That is the reason I go to this bakery again and again: I taste everything in their baked goods, not just sugar. Imagine a cinnamon roll in which you can taste butter, pastry and cinnamon! Everything I’ve had has been moist and delicious, crispy crusts and what I can only describe as a sophisticated level of sweetness.
Hoping for savory scones — cheese and herb, cheese and sausage — for soup season!

This tiny bakery less than a block from my house is amazing! There sticky rolls are a must, so tasty and gooey! They also make custom cakes that looks really cool.

Sorry, not a fan. I bought a red velvet cupcake and chocolate chip cookie. The red velvet cupcake was DRY, DRY, DRY, and the frosting was just not sweet enough for my liking (tasted more like cream cheese and butter w/​very little sugar). I took two bites and threw it away.
Tried the cookie instead. That’s a no-​go. First of all, there were like 4 chocolate chips in it. Secondly, the cookie part could not have been more tasteless. It honestly tasted like cardboard. Blech.
I will definitely not be back.

Remembered my boss’s birthday 24 hours in advance and went looking for a local bakery to order an apple pie. Ran across Sweet As Pie and I am SO Glad! Called and was relieved they could help me out, very friendly and accommodating!
Stopped by the location early (7:30am) and my pie was fresh from the oven! The Chef/​Owner handed it to me and helped me herself — she was very gracious and kind.
And Oh, Lord. It looked and smelled incredible. It made me think of white picket fences and sunshine and pies cooling on the windowsill.
HIGHLY recommend — It costs a little bit more than a grocery store, but definitely worth every penny! Homemade heaven!

Ordered a large catering order for a business party. The owner was great and was able to put the company logo on mini pies. She was super nice even when we called a billion times trying to figure out what we wanted. She even delivered them to our office and was able to add gluten free options last minute. The pies were a huge a hit with everybody. Thank you!

Love this cute little bakery. I think it is great that she has different things… it’s like a surprise when you get in there. The coffee is also absolutely delicious. Try the coffee with one of the delicious scones.

She was super helpful when my boyfriend and I were deciding on flavors of pie to order for our first dinner party. We’re also huge fans of her scones and cinnamon rolls! A hidden gem in the Wash Park/​Bonnie Brae hood!
