would give 0 stars if I could. walked in there early afternoon in between dinner and lunch time. Firstly, when we walked in and sat at the bar we weren’t given the menu at all, just told to wait and that the waiter would be with us in a minute. After 10 mins I finally got myself a couple menus. Honestly there were two people working so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered a lemon grass coconut soup with tofu and crab wontons and my friend ordered dumplings. when the food finally arrived after a very long wait considering the small amount of costumers, my soup had little burnt black things floating in it and smelled burned, like the smell of scraped food off of a grill. My friend’s dumplings were extremely small, very little meat and had a very mushy consistency like they had been cooked for too long. I am now experiencing loose stool… in sum, avoid this place like the plague.

The restaurant is stylish and clean. Food is average, not authentic Thai, but still ok, portions are on the smaller side. Ordered a beef jungle curry, consistency was more of soup than a curry. The white rice was not Thai jasmine rice, it was actually old rice(as in maybe made that morning –we were there for dinner) that we would normally used for fried rice. The beef Pad See U was average too. There was flavor but was not authentic tasting. If you like just flavored Asian food this place would be for you, but if you are in search of authentic Thai, this is not the place.

This place is so good! Best curry I’ve eaten in Denver so far. Would def eat here again. I ordered the peanut curry n green. Both super good. I’ve eaten at a lot of Thai places and this one is on my top favorites.

As with many of the reviews on here, this place is average. The food is tasty but not amazing; my «medium» was more like mild. Our waitress was pushy and seemed angry; I was scared to ask for things. I have been here many times because it is convenient, not necessarily the best Thai in town. It’s close. And again – average.

An all around great restaurant. The food has lots of flavor without being too sweet or too spicy. All the times we’ve been our food has come within five minutes. The waiters are attentive and friendly and we like the chill atmosphere.

The restaurant was clean and had nice décor. I had the peanut curry vegetables with brown rice. It was very good. Our waitress was fast and friendly.

Best Pad Thai I have had since I moved to Denver! I have eaten a lot of Thai in Denver and this was quick, easy, and delicious!

I’ve driven by this place a dozen times but never stopped. They are close to the new Trader Joe’s. There is a parking lot, but it was full so I parked on the street. They have a limited menu. I ordered Massaman Curry. It had 2 chunks of potatoes and a handful of peanuts. The server/bartender was attentive. He saw from the bar that I needed a refill of water and came over to refill my water glass. I probably won’t be back.

Accidently ordered from the wrong location and even though it was out of the delivery radius they still brought us our food! A delicious safe option. My pad see ew was a little dry. I had gotten delivery, if I had dined in this could have been avoided with some sauce.

Perfectly passable and acceptable Thai food. Nothing great, nothing terrible, nothing to write home about, and nothing to go out of your way for. Enjoyed a meal here, but actually forgot what I had for dinner that night when discussing my evening the next day.

So, Swing Thai is NOT where you go to enjoy the pad Thai your Thai granny used to make. The dish has some nice flavors, but it has been significantly sweetened and otherwise adjusted to appeal to the American palate. That being said, it’s not half bad and it arrives at the table promptly. The green papaya salad is a lighter summery offering(also a little sweet for my taste)… just be sure to watch out for the peppers if you’re heat sensitive. One major upside for celiacs and vegetarians is that their menu has all items clearly marked to address your concerns which is the main reason I keep coming back. I feel like the food here used to be better(and the locale seemed busier) 5 years ago, but it’s still ok food at an ok price in a location that can get the food to your table surprisingly quickly. Those who refer to this restaurant as fast-food Thai are pretty on the mark and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. If you’re looking for upscale Thai fusion cuisine, you’ll have to look somewhere else… and you’ll probably have to pay a lot more than the $ 10 – 12 per plate they charge at Swing Thai. When balancing the pros and cons here I’d call it a ‘Thai’ but am still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt ;)

We had wanted to stop in here a few days ago, but it was super warm in there. It was pleasantly air conditioner today. To start, the décor was really neat. I really appreciated the bamboo walls and the neat blowfish lighting. The service was very good as well. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She was also really good about understanding and checking on my friend’s nut allergy. In terms of the food, we started with a tofu fresh spring roll. The peanut sauce and ingredients inside the roll were quite fresh. I especially appreciated that the tofu was marinated. I was however pretty disappointed with the rice paper wrapping, as it had a hard, rubbery texture suggesting Our main entrees were quite good. The Pad See U and Swing Special had good flavor and weren’t super greasy. Overall, the experience was decent, and I would come back to try other entrees.

Tastes good an quick for takeout. Four stars because I’m from San Francisco with the best Asian food you can get, so I’m a bit picky.

I seriously haven’t reviewed this place either!!! Well I guess it’s a good thing because I won’t have to explain that much why I’m changing my mind on this place. It used to be good. Now its just okay. I asked for hot and got mild. Less tasty than I remember it too. Well now I have no reason to go back, all I ever used to eat here was the Pad Thai anyways.

People keep saying that this is really great Thai food and if that’s the case, then people don’t know what Thai food tastes like. The food here is fine… if you throw a bunch of sriracha on it. We ask for medium spicy, knowing full well what that tastes like, and it’s still super mild. If you’re going to order anything, I recommend the curries, particularly the green curry. Other than that, eh. It’s ok but it won’t quite hit the spot.

This Swing Thai location consistently serves up good food. I especially like the Panang Curry with Coconut Milk with medium heat… SO good. I also recommend the fried wontons. The restaurant itself has a nice layout if you choose to sit and dine. Otherwise if you want a reliable order out joint that delivers fast and consistent food then is one is a good mark.

Being a frequent visiter of their LoDo location [which is now closed], I became obsessed with their food, service, atmosphere and more. Being that I work off CO blvd now, my coworker and i ventured over to their new location the day after thanksgiving. Here are the takeaways: Atmosphere = Young, cool and provides a relaxed experience. The tables are ultra close together however. Service= Attentitive, friendly and helpful. My water glass was never empty! :) Quality = food is still delicious and filling. their portions are much smaller than other locations and same price… which i thought was interesting. I have a problem with my eyes being bigger than stomach so i ended up taking leftovers home. Prices = A bit steap, but okay for what you get. Overall– this place is worth a 2nd trip :)
