Well, I have to say I’m disappointed. We ordered two special rolls via delivery but when it came it looked to be only one. I called and they told me that it was indeed two orders, it just looks like one because they packaged them together. «They are big rolls cut in half.» Which actually makes them small rolls, and in reality, overpriced for the size. Tasty though, and they came quickly.

Absolutely fantastic sushi, a bit on the high end but what makes it all completely worth it is their absolutely wonderful service. I had a 15 hour drive, am exhausted and am so wonderfully pleased that I am thankful for this accidental find.

Probably the best sushi we have had in Denver so far. Not a big place, but our server was very friendly and attentive. We started with the edamame, which was standard, and ordered the Titanic, Sunflower and King Crab rolls. All were delicious and had great flavors. Would definitely go back again.

The sushi is really top notch at this little hole in the wall on Bayaud. There is an incredible variety of food which means there’s a little something for everyone. It’s like a little hidden gem in the Baker District. There’s no parking lot — street parking only. But once you get inside it’s a quaint little space. At times it can get pretty crowded so be aware of the time of day. Lunch is usually good but dinner can draw a crowd. A lot of people enjoy the pick-up option for when they really need some sushi. Let’s talk food — excellent rolls! Seriously, there is some tastiness going on here. Each visit I try something new and each time I’m impressed. Great 2-piece sushi options as well. As expected, the food is filling and you get quite a bit of it too! I really like the specialty rolls — check the chalk board for the deal of the day. I really wish that this place wasn’t so expensive. The drawback is that it’s really pricey which means not everyone can go. I would say a nice date night meal would be your best bet at this joint. Even when crowded, the service is impeccable. The employees build great relationships with their customers. It’s always a welcoming environment with efficient service. I’m all about it.

Love it! Our favorite sushi joint! Great rolls without being overloaded with all the rice filler. And really suitable prices.

Gave me food poisoning. I had the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail nigiri and the Tokyo roll. Tasted extremely fishy. On the plus side– super fast delivery

3.5 stars! This is the WashPark sushi joint where I first dined with my bf(hello love if you’re reading this now). The sushi here’s quite alright. The interior is so-so, service is fine, & parking is limited but the menu selection is pretty great. Their specialty rolls were to my liking & I was a full & satisfied customer. Each roll is around $ 13 which is probably $ 1 – 2 more than the average sushi roll @ other restaurants. The sushi roll presentation was nice(but not as nice as the presentation @ sushi harbor). They have free delivery with a $ 15 minimum purchase. You can reserve tables online. They classify themselves as a fusion restaurant but I’m not exactly sure how they are considered fusion(other than that they do offer shumai on their menu). I would come here again for a casual dinner/lunch.

So I hit up Taki with my boo boo last weekend. As you may know being in a land locked state finding good fresh sushi is a struggle. I was overall pleased with the fish itself. I had the Denver roll as well as a classic cali roll. My boyfriend who was a vegetarian for 25 years just switched to eating chicken a few years ago so sushi for him is totally out of the question so he ordered teriyaki chicken, in which the waiter highly recommended the chicken stir fry instead, so he went with that. He being a weight lifting muscle man loves chicken but is very very picky, to my surprise he LOVED it. Over all the prices were fair. The service definitely went above and beyond, everyone was super nice, and we will be back. PS don’t judge a book by its cover!

Taki is my neighborhood sushi joint, and I’m extremely glad it’s in walking distance. I’m not the best person to give advice about sushi, as I’m a vegetarian, but the food I’ve had has been tasty. I appreciate the friendly, quick service, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I will be back here time and time again.

Great, convenient economic choice for yummy Japanese! I LOVE the Unilocal app that allows you to order food for delivery or take out! We ordered en route to the restaurant and our orders as done lickedy split. The gyoza are browned and crispy and delicious, and are a great appetizer. The Miso soups also were stupendous. The rolls we ordered with tuna were only so so and we only ate 2 of 6 rolls… The in dining looked cozy and was busy on a snowy december night at 8 pm. Give Taki a try!

Sushi rolls were well constructed and the fish was pretty good, especially for the price. The majority of the stars go to the service– the staff was awesome. The combination of quality, price, and service was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning soon

This is not a place I heard of until recently. Maybe that’s because it doesn’t fall into that ‘trendy’ category where everything seems to taste better despite its reality. What I saw on weekends was how packed it was, and granted it is tiny, but you still have to be good to demand a line. Lucky for us, we came during the week and pretty late so we were able to immediately sit. The inside is quaint, which is what I expect of a sushi place. This place doesn’t have any gimmicks or doesn’t put on a show. It’s right to business and what they do they do really well. We ordered the Tokyo and Mango sushi rolls. I was really happy with both. The Tokyo had some nice kick while the Mango, despite its name, was truly highlighted by the eel. I know that good sushi is pretty hard to come by so when I find a gem like this where the high expectations are met, I tend to hold on pretty tight. Taki will see me back in the near future where I’ll be excited to see how some of the other rolls rank.

Open until 11pm on Monday night — why thank you, Taki Sushi — I love late night eating! Friends had been telling me about this place for months, and I must say, I was not disappointed. We stopped in after 10pm, but the service was still friendly and prompt, which I really appreciated. My boyfriend and I shared two rolls — the«Mango» and the«Tokyo.» The mango was filed with delicious, perfectly cooked eel, and had fresh mango and avocado on top. The Tokyo was a spicy tuna with yellowfin on top. Both were absolutely perfect, and we were served watermelon slices as a refreshing dessert! If you are looking for a great sushi stop, don’t hesitate to try this place. I will definitely be back.

This place is a solid three star for me. My friend and I were craving sushi and his roommate had recommended this place. There is no designated parking lot for this location so you will have to find parking in the neighborhood. We were lucky to be seated before the dinner rush started. We ordered the mango and sex on the beach rolls. The waitress who seated us wasn’t especially nice, but the server who helped us after was very friendly. He brought us our sushi and made sure to let us know which roll was which. Both rolls were decent, but I don’t know if I’d say they were exceptional in anyway. It is your typical American-Japanese fusion sushi place with lots of specialty rolls and they do quite an okay job. We ended up ordering the tempura ice cream for dessert for kicks and giggles and it was not bad. I had wished the crust was more crispy, but it was more cakey than anything else. The rolls averaged about 10 – 13 dollars, and our meal came out to be about 15 dollars per person. I think it’s a little bit pricey considering the amount of food you get, but that’s kind of normal for sushi places. I think I’d probably only come back here if I was craving for specialty rolls that was near my apartment.

Just relocated to Denver from northern CA so I wanted to try how the sushi was out here. Checked out Unilocal and since it was close to my place, I wanted to get this place a shot. It was a Friday night and the wait was about 15 mins. Opted to sit at the sushi bar. Smaller but nice place. We ordered 3 rolls and a couple of beers. Sex on the Beach roll — Favorite roll of the night. Extremely flavorful. I love the fish to rice ratio. Pure deliciousness! Pearl roll — Tasty roll. Love the fried oysters in the middle of the roll. Hawaiian roll — It was a special roll with seared tuna and hamachi on top. Also tasty. Overall, all the rolls were delicious and full of fish. Service was good and food didn’t take long even though they were busy.

I have come here a few times now and have always had a great experience. The tables in here are a big close together so my boyfriend and I always opt for sitting at the sushi bar. The food here is a great value, a couple dollars less per item than you’d anticipate. We typically start out with the house salad($ 3) and gyoza($ 5). We also get nigiri($ 2 – 2.50) and a couple orders of specialty rolls($ 10 – 13). Tonight we had the black dragon rolls and they were to die for! We also had eel, white tuna, and salmon nigiri. The service here is always impressive and food always comes out in a timely manner. This is an amazing neighborhood spot. I love that it is walking distance from home. If you are driving here I imagine it might get frustrating, as the street parking is limited. If I could afford to eat sushi everyday, I would, and this would be my go to spot, no doubt!
