Definitely would not recommend. First of all I asked for no cheese and of course got my Huevos Casita with cheese. Sadly they were also missing the red chilies and pico de gallo that I asked for. When I went back to ask for both I got some attitude from the cashier who drowned my food in red chili. To round out this experience the food was practically tasteless. On the plus side the eggs and peppers were fresh.

This stuff will sit heavy in your belly. Mildly overpriced for what you get but what are you gonna do, it’s the airport, everyone expects to overpay. It costs more for rice and veggies together(what the shuck?) and even costs extra for sour cream! They were generous with the beans but stingy with the proteins, charged for extra things that shouldn’t be, but at least the staff were friendly. Definitely not coming back here.

Really pleasant surprise to get decent Chile Verde on my way out of Denver. I asked the guy working what his favorite thing to eat there and he steered me in the direction of a burrito de chile verde, mojado, of course!

Horrible food. Like a Chipotle but watered and flavorless steak meat seasoned with pepper. Ordered a steak bowl on 1/19, and was $ 9.40 for a teaspoon of meat and a plethora of left-over vegetables. Do yourself the favor and get some McDonald’s next door ahead. Disgusting.

I had the tamale platter. It was pretty tasty. I liked that it came with black beans and a small lettuce/pico blob. The tamales were pretty well-filled with pork that was flavorful. It would have been slightly better if it were warmer but was decent overall. The staff were also super fast and friendly. I appreciated the prices being reasonable but do note that there are lots of decent options in Terminal C.

Not sure why they leave the breakfast menu out if they r not serving breakfast. Any way ended up ordering a tortilla soup by itself because they didn’t have a breakfast burrito that I was craving. Price was 6 buckaroos for semi pureed soup. Not sure why I was expecting chicken up in it, but the spice was just right. Not sure how authentic tortilla soup should b made but I know I wasn’t expecting this.

Let’s be honest, searching for food while on a layover is usually a painfully expensive and mediocre experience. I’m so glad I kept exploring the terminal and stumbled upon LaCasita. Finally a healthier option while on the go. The staff was beyond friendly. I was greeted by every single member of the assembly line! Their menu offered a wide variety of salads, burritos, tacos, and soup. I ordered the arugula salad which had my choice of beans, with pico, pickled radish, cheese, and pumpkin seeds, topped with cilantro dressing. My favorite part was the whole wheat taco bowl! I’ve never had one before and I somehow felt less guilty while eating it. The best thing was the price. My salad was only $ 6.70. I felt his was an excellent deal for an airport meal. Should I find myself in the Denver airport again I will be sure to eat here.

Even giving this place a 2 was tough. The Tamales were spicy but very bland. Heat is not a replacement for flavorful food. Not to mention they were served lukewarm and On A PAPER Plate. Paper. Not kidding, see picture. Lastly I sat at the bar and it was apparently near the staff entrance, after seeing the staff that came and went… I would have chose not to eat here. I won’t be back. Sorry guys. Real plates and good food would be a place to start. Now the cleaning guy just drug bags of trash out the door by the bar where I am sitting. Less than quality staff certainly.

I think I swolled a bone or hard meat. It was really sharp and hurt going down. Overall it was really good chicken, but very blah. It was the ONLY thing that looked tasty in the Colorado Airport. Ahhhh… It was a great price compared to NYC, but I don’t like feeling like I swolled something and not sure. I also saw a feather on a piece of chicken. It was fresh…

Food’s ok, nice staff but the biggest draw is no lines(vs McDonald’s and Einstein’s). For my1st visit, ordered the Taco Plate($ 7.45) — chicken taco and steak taco. They assemble the tacos in front of you — I got the soft tacos, added the pico de gallo, skipped guac b/c it was extra, and asked for cilantro(they reluctantly got it from the back). The tacos tasted ok and wasn’t crazy about the grease dripping onto my place for both tacos. For my 2nd visit, ordered Steak Burrito($ 7.75) — better than the tacos; added black beans, rice, pico de gallo and guac. Maybe next time I’ll try their tamales.

So I came to this place thinking it’s better than McDonalds. Well I was wrong and I’m sorry McDonalds for doubting you like that. Beside the fact that everything you add on your burrito bowl was extra. The food was disgusting. 1– Rice is dry to the point it’s crunchy like hard nuts. 2– Chicken was more like dry chicken skin. 3– I don’t even know if mixing made it taste any better but good lord I believe jail food may taste a little more humane than this. Eventually you’ll puke it out. Do yourself a favor and take anything else as animal food may even taste better than this.

Took a little longer than expected. Much slow and low key are the employees compared to the lively works at Moe’s Southwest. I got the nachos deluxe with Chicken. The lady didn’t understand I want only one ladle of Queso. So I got two, half way though eating the nachos they were completely soggy. I could tell the guacamole was not fresh made, most likely bagged frozen. But this is an airport. The chicken would have been better if it was over cooked and slightly burnt. It was edible but they have a lot of room for improvement.

For airport fast food this was pretty good. I had been meaning to get to their main Denver location but things kept getting in the way. Arriving on a flight from the east today and quite hungry for a late lunch, we grabbed some tamale plates here. Paper plates, simple seating, a line to choose the plate selections and a decent price all worked for me. I generally like a bit more masa in my tamales, but these were adequate and very traditional. I liked getting lots of cilantro in the rice. My iced tea was fresh and my husband liked his beer. We were in and out fairly quickly and on the road towards home, not overly full. I will definitely continue to try to get to the real restaurant experience in the future.

After searching for a local food option in the Delta terminal, I finally found Tamales La Casita. Unfortunately, my experience there wasn’t so great. And yes, I factored in that I was at the airport. They have a fast food line but the food doesn’t come out fast. I ordered the tamale breakfast and didn’t receive it for about ten to fifteen minutes, despite only having two other people in line with me. And when I did receive it, it wasn’t so great. With refried beans, potatoes, salsas, and two overcooked fried eggs on top(that were supposed to be sunny side up but came out completely fried), everything looked and tasted like slop. The tortillas weren’t anything special, but they were nicely wrapped in tinfoil. Not that it was a big deal, but it wasn’t the prettiest looking plate. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it. This place is more like a quick fix for getting a local Mexican food option at a decent price, but I would personally look elsewhere for a meal at Denver International. I hope they improve!

Being stuck on a 2.5 layover, you want to choose wisely. Well I’m always a fan of Naked Burritos, served in a bowl. The staff at this airport location were kind & polite and had no problem giving me several extra ladles full of salsa’s & black beans And the price point was not out of line $ 7. (so 4 stars, as the only rice option was a boring bland white rice, no options at all other than soggy veggies ** zucchini in Mexican?) The Bride ordered the taco salad in a shell $ 7 $ 2.50 for a Coke, with free refills, which I did not expect. The cashier was a very joy filled gal & treated me & every guest like gold.

Last chance Mexican food with the option for Chile Verde before you depart the wide open west. Employees are marginally more friendly than other fast-service airport employees. Probably the best spot to stop for a fresh, made to order meal if you don’t have time for sit-down, and definitely better than McDonald’s and TCBY. They have a little bar, too, where you can enjoy some cervezas and watch TV prior to your flight, plus ample seating in the food court area of concourse C shared with McD’s and TCBY. Prices are commensurate with serving size; choose from fresh to order burritos, tacos, bowls, salads, plus steamed fresh tamales, quinoa salad, etc. all for under $ 10 a person. It’s also actually possible to have yourself some spice here if you opt for the habañero tomatillo salsa and the fresh jalapeños with your entrée. Bottled juices, water, and sodas all available as well. Of course, it’s not going to blow your socks off like a Chipotle/Qdoba visit or an off-airport tamale/Mexican joint in Denver, but as far as quick-service airport food goes, La Casita is definitely a solid pick… especially if you’re not feeling the McDonalds/Villa Pizzeria/TCBY vibe. Food tastes fresh and serving size is plentiful. A huge burrito bowl and a bottle of water for $ 10?! Yes please!
