This building used to be a good place to live. After Simpson Housing bought this complex, everything went downhill. They don’t clean or maintain the hallways, the recycling, the grounds, the stairwells, the elevators. I have walked into elevators with puke in them; I have walked the stairwells with dog shit and rotting food in them. The hallways haven’t been vacumned in weeks, the grounds are completely littered. Luxury rent and payments for everything(parking, dog, etc.) but NOT luxury in any other sense of the word. Don’t move here.

This review is for those of you considering moving to the Boulevard. They recently changed management and that is where we had most of our negative experiences. The good –Apartments are large, open and spacious. –Good closet space. –The office staff is nice and sometimes will go out of their way for you. –Maintenance is super nice, helpful and friendly. –They have nice amenities including a movie theater. –The location. The bad –New management has cut the staff and because of this maintenance is overworked. If you put in a request on the weekend they will not fix it till Monday.(I want to be clear that it is not maintenance fault as they work super hard, the management company is responsible). –Trash piles up on the weekend particularly in the parking lots(again because maintenance is understaffed). –Updates are being made to the appearance of the place while they take away things from residents, for example there are no longer community events and they hardly heat the halls. –Slight updates are being made to the apartments to jack up the prices of the apartments. — I have heard that people can hear the people above them though we didn’t experience that as we were on the top floor. Overall, we really enjoyed living at the Boulevard prior to the new management. We hope this review will be helpful to prospective renters.

Moved in November and we absolutely loooooooooooooooove everything about it! The staff, the building, the parking, the location! The monthly socials. I’m somewhat of a gypsy and moved 5 times in 18 months but I could see myself being here for a long time! First time I’ve felt that way! Thanks Boulevard for making it feel like«home»!

I have lived at Boulevard for 17 months. Here is the good, the bad and the ugly. I will begin with the good. The office staff deserve 5 stars. They are responsive, care about the tenants, friendly and are very customer focused. They take the effort to remember you and go above and beyond. In addition to the staff, this place is a community. I have gotten to know several people including some long lasting cherished friendships. The units are nice, while missing a couple nonessential amenities, they have character, are cozy and the large bathrooms rock. And the maintenance team is wonderful. They are responsive and friendly. The bad-the construction of this building has some serious issues. Starting with no concrete between floors. If you are not in a top floor unit, you can hear everything happening in the unit above you. No fault of those tenants, they are simply living, however, music, dogs barking, toilets flushing, heated conversations, or amorous activity, and listening to the constant pounding of footsteps above does not lend to brotherly love, but can create strain, and sometimes hostility between neighbors. My pictures hanging on the wall shake from the walking, which sounds like stomping, above. And finally, get use to being dragged out of bed in the middle of a winter evening as there is a malfunction to the alarm system, causing it to go off when the temperature outside dips below freezing. Now back to good– the place is well kept, routine maintenance, security, nice workout area, and lobby with computers, coffee, free internet.

I’ve been living at the Boulevard for 6 months and I’d recommend it to anyone. Quiet enough, attentive staff, very clean common area. Great pool and hot tub. Lots of guest parking. You must like dogs … they’re everywhere!
